In 1922 the British institutions didn't leave, they were guaranteed their continuance by the treaty, They were the only people educated organised & familiar with the running of the civil service & Judiciary, I don't need to explain to you that these institutions were notoriously anti Irish. Kings inns est. 1530, civil service est. 1801, the law society est. 1801, Royal college of surgeons est. 1784, Dublin city council 1539. Through a system of keeping the natives out & nepotism the same family's with the same contempt for the natives have retained their positions. These are all royal chartered bodies with no statutory footing in Ireland.
Lately they've begun rewriting Irish history, inserting their own heroes from Trinity & UCD (who the fuq is samuel Beckitt?)
Both local & National parliaments are only advisory & those who take up office have a fiduciary duty to the establishment, Everyone acts on best legal advice or they'll be removed by the AG!
What do Belarusians think about Western cultures? Exp ireland UK, usa
Economic situation exactly the same here in US. Not even registered nurses can afford rent. Its insane
I'm Irish but spend most of time in the Balkans and E. Europe for the last four years. Can't deal with it at home.
Wonder Why all russian i know wants to leave russia!?….
Yes exactly- Irish GDP is vastly inflated by companies holding intellectual property assets there. This does not create wealth for ordinary workers. Very interesting vid 🙂
Elephant in the room is not debt, it's the unimited migration of uneducated people. These are taking up massive number of housing thus the ones that are left are priced higher and higher. Supply and demand. Immigration is a huge issue here but can't be spoken about because you're just labelled a racist.
Well said sir. Can't believe it wasn't mentioned in video.
Actually the banks hold the keys to so much housing stock in Ireland its not funny and they wont give it back cuz there is more profit in new housing but they wont build it because rarity pushes prices up and that means much bigger mortgages and higher profits.
I'm moving out in a few days! Ireland has really nothing going for it for young people with a brain. It's expensive, it's globo-homogenised to the core, the weather sucks and the people here are too agreeable (and drunk) to really push back against the agenda. If Pearse or Connolly saw the state of Ireland today, they would have never gotten out of bed on that Easter morn.
I always wonder what happen to those fellas with the m16s and ski masks that had that revolutionary spirit no so long ago.
Excellent analysis and commentary 👌
Great Insights from an intelligent man. Love the optimism, hope you are right. Stay safe my friend.
Well articulated boss
Great update, thanks
Awesome job buddy!

IP dont wind down the channel! Keep it rollin!
The Irish problems seem identical to the problems in Australia. The thing the 2 countries have in common is neoliberalism.
You mean when the government steps in the "help" they screw things up?! Who would've ever guessed!
Thanks for your time I.P. Indeed we are entering choppy waters, let’s hope things calm down somewhat.
This dumb senseless war must stop for any progress to start.
Winston Churchill said it best, "jaw jaw is better than war war". Peace out ✌️
Really enjoy your musings on world politics. 👍
Niall I'm not sure if you know, but the rails you are crossing many times in this video is the Children's Railway, it's operated by children and it's in a decent condition. You may try to visit it some day this summer or fall before the season ends if you haven't yet.
I don't know if you are aware of this but the US didn't invade Ukraine.
They provoked it. It wouldnt have happened if nato never expanded east. What would the us do if mexico went communist and joined the warsaw pact back in the day? Better yer look at what the us DID do in cuba, latin america, asia, iraq, afganistan, etc towards faken news threats.
It certainly caused it though
They invaded in 2014 - Victoria Nuland and John McCain armed with cookies and biscuits 👍🏼😁
usa invaded Iraq,Afghanistan, Libya, Syria in the last 2 decades...
The situation in Germany is as you descriped. Deindustrialization is progressing and companies are making fewer investments. Foreign companies must be lured with high subsidies. Rents are also high, but not yet as extreme as in Ireland.
Heres a thing, the irish birthrate per woman has dropped to 1.6 . This is below replacement level. So unless it can be turned around there wont be any irish people left by about 200 years from now. On the population will still increase but it will be entirely made up of immigrants
We irish are never happy , we had nothing in the 80's , now our countryside is windmills and motorways.
I was living in Dublin from 04 to 06 and it was even expencive back then. Ireland had a huge problem in 08 when the crises hit, looks like they didnt learn from it…
Great analysis. Sitting here thinking my dad born in county Armagh was dirt poor. Visited in the 60s home dirt floor and no indoor Plumbing. US is ready to implode gas just went up 40 cents a gallon. Medical care it can take 6 months to get in. Enjoy where u are except the weather
Just today my letting agent got in touch to say our rent is increasing by 15%. Given I haven't had a pay rise in three years and inflation is sky-high in the UK this isn't great news!
On the other points you make, I agree that things are going to be rocky but BRICS + the reemergence of political struggles in the trade unions etc give cause for hope, a multipolar world is better for humanity's sake.
I wouldn't call 6.8% sky high, a few ripples and everyone wants to run off to an autocractic crap hole that supports and commits the most heinous crimes there is! 🤦
Pension for a nurse or a teacher in russia today is 200-250 dollar a month. 15 times higher in Sweden.
Are you saying that a pension for a retired nurse in Sweden is up on e7000 a month? . I'm impressed.
@@ike637 Round 3000 dollar. And sweden does not have russian natural resorces. Russia has most natural recorses in the world. Who is stealing the money?! Wake up man

It is insane!
Curious why they dont build taller apartment buildings like the ones you showed in your video in Dublin, I know they are a little ugly but it would get property prices down. I moved to Dublin 20 years ago and back then the comversation was exactly the same, high property prices, price of oil going through the roof (Iraq), Mountains of debt, recession in europe etc etc 🙄
You just said the reason, it would lower property price so they would never do it
hope you stay safe
Hey folks,
Just a tad of pondering on the subject ye mentioned ( From a different standpoint ) :
1. Ireland have a big problem with housing, minus craic, however (!) the country is very friendly and can offer a good income ( construction , IT , sales and Pharma ) - very good option for people from post-soviets countries. Get yourself a master degree for 1 year ( yes, in Ireland it is just one year ) get ye English to good level and you'll find a good job back home ( or somewhere else ) + you can stay in the country for few years to get some experience if you feel like it;
2. In fairness, I have to say that moving ( be it to China, Russia, Ireland etc. ) is a good idea only if you have a plan or to be candid - job offer;
3. Please, take any message from Russian media with a grain of salt it sits next to the Sun;
4. Good economic situation does not mean a happy life. True virtue often emerges from life's challenges. I like the idea of moving around, but every so often economic migration seems to me like a modern plague.
By the way, is there a clever tie between PFC and the name of the channel? :D
Thanks for saving us from Russian agent. LoL but I'm a big girl.
>Please, take any message from Russian media with a grain of salt it sits next to the Sun;< I am not sure what that means but the Western propaganda is huge .They are saying Ukraine is winning .The polar opposite from the truth .
Sorry Niall,
what T shirt is that ??

Leprechaun economics. Lots of foreign investment lodged in banks skewing the GDP . No money or profits being circulated in Ireland to allow us enjoy good GDP and allow us grow as a country improve our structures and improve without them☘️🇮🇪☘️we can not all leave. Germany has peaked, wokeness is killing their economy, only Downward from here. Energy is life and their incessant investments in rebuildables is killing their competitiveness. That along with their support of the US in the scam war.
I read yesterday that Mercedes Benz has de-activated software services that is used for maintenance of their cars in MB Russia dealerships. They have also stopped shipping cars to Russia. You would have to think this would have massive knock on effects of sales in places like China and other places where sanctions are a very real threat in the future. People in Asia will be looking to Europe in a decade and using it as a Destination for a cheap holiday abroad.

Answer me one question: Are there more or less people emigrating from Belarus rather immigrating to Belarus ? What's the official number ?
Can you guess the answer?
Ever met the guy witb the channel AustralianInMinsk? Maybe collab
Yeah I met him a few weeks ago. He is in Russia atm.
With Wagner being in Belarus and the way everything has gone down I just don't see the sanctions ending even after the war is over. I pray for negotiations and for things to go back to normal. Also without sanctions but neither side seems willing to compromise.
Agree 100% The only way out is a peaceful negotiated settlement. The longer it goes on, the worse it will get.

Just wondering on which pole of the multi-polar world do you plan to end up? That one where there are thousands of people are being tortured every day because they didn't like what happened in Minsk in 2020, hundred of thousands had to flee the country and will possible never be able visit their homes, or one where life is so hard in Dublin that you can't afford a house as a graduate?
No, I want to end up in the world that has been proposed by China ie. a return to international law based on the UN Charter, where the sovereignty of states is protected not the US led international rules based order (might is right) which has destroyed dozens of countries and killed untold millions in the pursuit of imperial hegemony and dominance.
Speaking of human rights, I never said that Russia or Belarus is perfect. I believe in the concept of free speech. However you have missed the bit where Ukraine has outlawed all opposition parties and media, imprisoned thousands with many more missing, rehabilitated Stepan Bandera, and his Far Right ideology called Banderism which calls for the elimination and removal of anyone not deemed to be their concept of what is a Ukrainian, e.g. ethnic Russians, Roma people. Belarus for its faults thankfully does not have this white supremacist and racist ideology. It's far more inclusive. I would advise you to read up on Andrei Biletskiy and the Azov. After that you can look up the case of the Kononovich Brothers, ethnic Belarusians who have been tortured by the SBU and are now facing prison. Then there is Anatoly Shariy who despite leaving Ukraine and now living in exile in Spain, still lives in fear of being extraditied back to Ukraine where he faces being tortured or worse. There's also the case of Gonzalo Lira. And I haven't even scratched the surface.
@@IrishPartizan The same China, that has problems with EVERY SINGLE ONE of its neighbours ? The same China, that has stolen land from India and Vietnam and Phillinpines and continues to harrass India and Vietnam and Phillipines every month on their land and maritime borders ? The same China that supports the murderous regime in North Korea ? The same China that gave Nuclear technology to Pakistan to where now a failing Pakistan is everybody's nightmare ? I like your channel Irish Partizan. You seem like a good bloke. But let's not get carried away. THERE IS NOTHING FAIR OR LEGAL ABOUT CHINA. No Law or agreement in China is worth the paper it is written on. China and Sovereignty are like apples and oranges. But I will agree with you that there has to be a recognition of THE RULE OF LAW but then there is equal corruption on the west too. So frankly we are at a stage where might sadly has become right. And the only law is, the strong survive and the weak perish. But please let's not sing the praises of a communist dictatorship that harvests its own citiznen's for their organs.

>No, I want to end up in the world that has been proposed by China ie. a return to international law based on the UN Charter
Is this the China that by all means supports russian invasion of Ukraine? Or some imaginary China you invented just because you are so anti-american and need something to believe in? Or your propaganda told you russian invasion somehow complies with UN Charter already?
What you say about Ukraine is just a bunch of lies and dirty exaggerations. Of course some bad things were happening there, just like anywhere in the world. But what was happening in Ukraine is nowhere near to what your favs Russia/China are doing to minorities in their countries and far beyond.
Mate, you follow literal Nazis on your UA-cam community. Nuff said.
You have learned a good lesson from your fav russian govt how to blame everyone you don't like to be a nazi.
My Fiancee lives in Belarus, and I've visited the country multiple times. The country has nicer roads, stores, quality of food, and many other positive qualities. Especially the lower rate of crime. Buying a home or renting is absolutely insane here. Everything is expensive or overpriced. Even basic groceries. I have Belarus as my backup plan if I decided to leave the US. But we are considering buying an apartment or a home in Belarus eventually, just so we have our own place that's affordable, and we can stay at.
been there, done that. If belarus escapes disaster from the war, it will be our go to. Flights are tough these days
Another benefit, living in Belarus, is living under a dictator instead of living in a democracy.
And Belarus is run as a totalitarian dictatorship...
@@rgmveraart Democracy is dead in the U.S. My country is in a state of decline, and disaster compared to Belarus. Massive inflation, insane costs of living, chemical saturated food, rampant crime, corrupt government. But it's alright, because we are a "democracy"? 🤣 The ship is sinking here.

Couldn’t agree more. My wife and I are considering leaving our miserable life in a 5 bed semi- detached in the south of England behind. As a conservative father who’s worried deeply about the economy and future of our children, we’re carefully considering our options. But it was the renaming of “gingerbread man” to “gingerbread person” that was the final straw for me.
Thus Russia or Belarus are becoming more appealing as each day passes. Stable economies and governments, good life longevity and a meritocratic education system. Not forgetting the femininity of the women! Western life is doomed.
Divorce rate in Russia sky high. Private property rights nowhere near USA level. It's not some kind of 'family values' state.
Life is very tough at the moment in Ireland, after 15 years in Dublin planning to locate in Russia where my wife is from

@@rjames3981 These numbers as you point out are before the Russian Federation aggression against Ukraine.
Last year’s figures for 2022 according to the World Bank.
Recent escalation of the conflict began in Feb 2022.
@@rjames3981 It sure sounds crazy that the Russian economy would improve by making a full scale invasion of a neighbouring country. One would think that the sanctions would be having some sort of effect.
Sanctions appear to have backfired. Banning things often drives prices higher. As Russia is a major commodities supplier perhaps its worked in their favour?
EG Alcohol prohibition in 1920s USA drove prices higher and created a black market. Drugs industry is another example. Prices reflect additional risk of supply.
Russia has also played a very skilled diplomatic game.
