Not gonna lie when you started talking about the seat belt holders I was like c'mon everyone knows that...then when you showed how to actually use them properly, mind blown!
Another one not realised by some: If you press and hold the gear lever button when the car is in park and running, and press the start/stop button, you can turn off the engine but leave the accessories on.
Holding down the dash light adjuster changes the whole dash between day and night mode so u can run headlights during the day without having everything dark and turns off all the a/c control lights.
The center tray lid trick I did not know, and also the key fob thing, I think that feature has been removed in the newer models and you can now eject a compact key from your fob if it goes flat. My model is newer then yours and the little slot next to the shifter is a lot smaller, almost like a keyhole. So far loving the Pajero. Little bit concerned with all the electronic features so opted for the base model. A so underrated vehicle and the offroad capabilities are awesome. I was surprised what I went through with ease while other rear diff locked utes struggled through.
Thanks for the video, the 2 things I wasn't aware of were the extra tailgate button & that the centre console lid clips away. Love my Sports Pajero & thanks for sharing
Hi, great video, I didn’t know about the tailgate lock button. Btw I’ve just fitted silicone intercooler hoses, following your intercooler video. Thanks a million & keep up the good work 👍😀
Having owned this car for 3 years I knew most of these except - Tow override for transmission, key slot next to the drivers seat and the seat belt holder in 3rd row (I thought that was shopping bag hook ) Thanks average garage… ❤💕
Hey mate just found your video, really great and informative. Much appreciated all the tips you highlighted. Thank you for taking your time on that. Great job.
Awesome video. Thanks for taking the time. Didn’t have a clue about the center console try and knew about the seat belt retainers but wasn’t using them right.
If you had read the instruction manual between pages 871-1042 you would have known all this! I enjoy my Pajero Sport, I just wish Mitsubishi would install a "average fuel consumption " read out that did not reset itself after 4 hours of standing.
haha good stuff! i actually did not know about the console tray stowaway, and the belt hooks. Love my Pajero Sport , only a GLX/entry model, but has everything we need, and tows he camper no dramas. Maybe the only complaint would be the bottom (mine) support on the front seats, or lack thereoff. The wide console did take some tim eto get used to, but our model (19) has the soft padding on there which makes it nicer. Cheers for the video!
I've got a QF Exceed so there are differences. I knew about the seatbelt hooks but not how to use them properly. I didn't know about the transmission "unlock" or the centre console tray. Thanks.
Nice vid...didnt know about the lid for centre consol or what the hole next to the gear stick was actually for or the button on the rear door so nice work.
Danggg. I only read bits and parts of the manual, and i didnt know most of the stuff you’ve shown here, esp that smaller compartment at the rear. Thanks mate!
Had mine eight months... Didn't know about button to on rear to lock, or centre tray or how to properly use the seat belt holder🤔thanks👍 no more walking to the door to unlock the rear 😁😁🤣
Thanks for the tip on the boot button. I often borrow a Mitsi Outlander and notice the back boot door remains unlocked AFTER locking via key fob, so annoying! I'll be looking for that button next time use it.
I have a Prado. I didn't notice that you could lock the Prado with the touch sensor on top of the door handle for 3 years. I also didn't know it had a lock and unlock button near the boot handle as well...didn't notice it for 4 years...
i have the first gen model of what you have here and its amazing what stayed in the design and what didnt. like the back storage compartments are still the same size mine are a little bigger but the access panel things look the same size. i have a series 1 pa challenger mitsubishi this would be a pc challenger over seas.
Well done excellent video, the only two things that I did not know about it was the first point which was the button that could lock the entire vehicle and the last one the console that little pocket where are you can engage that plastic tray well that’s very informative indeed
That was great. Thanks. I did not know that I can lock the car from the boot side. Also the slot I can put my keys. Amazing thanks for sharing these tips
Great video. Appreciate your effort/time. Maybe do a video on how to use the DAB radio, as so many people don't understand it and that you can replay your favourite song when it comes on or put on ABC Kids for the little ones.
Absolutely fabulous…thanks. Any chance you could do one on managing/explaining all the functions such as blind spot and particularly the numerous noises that are emitted on my QF PS Exceed? Thanks 👍
Thank you for t6e information like you I haven’t read the booklet all the way through I just wish Mitsubishi would make a dvd of the amazing car for sales against to hand out to buyers when they have purchased the vehicle
I don’t own one of these but I would like one someday. Very useful tips. A much cheaper alternative to the Land Cruiser yet is the same sort of car with the body on chassis setup plus a better gearbox in my opinion. Only thing is do they have a cover that pulls out to hide the contents in the back ? Ive not seen one yet with this. I had a Subaru Outback a while ago with it and I liked being able to keep things from view.
You can also close your ac vents in the dash. For the two in the middle just push the silver controller going towards the screen and it will close while for the two ac vents on passenger and driver side just push it towards the window and it will also close
Man how did you find out about these 😂😂 the key override by the knee, the little square that lets you put it into neutral to be recovered or towed (would have helped at julimar when my car kept turning off to try not hydrolock itself and I kept forcing it back on) 😂😂 the centre console lid, 🤯🤯
Thanks for the vid, I've just ordered a GLS for delivery next Feb (approx) I love the look of your bull bar, what model is it and where did you get it? Cheers.
Well bugger me, knew about the seatbelt holders but no idea about the rest, but to be fair we only got her a few weeks ago...........sending to my wife right now!! 👍 Great work by the way mate! 👍 Like the normal person, no bullshit style 👍👍
I knew about everything you mentioned except for the centre console tray. Also wanting to increase the indicator volume and switch the car from right hand drive to left hand drive preferences as it improves the Bluetooth and phone speaker.
Nice video! Considering buying the Pajero Sport and had a look at few already - great cars! Would you spend the extra $ for the uplift model (2020 onwards?) or is 2016-2019 as good? The only difference I noticed was the front bumper and few extra features but I would be replacing it with ironman bullbar so doesn't bother me too much
Not gonna lie when you started talking about the seat belt holders I was like c'mon everyone knows that...then when you showed how to actually use them properly, mind blown!
Another one not realised by some: If you press and hold the gear lever button when the car is in park and running, and press the start/stop button, you can turn off the engine but leave the accessories on.
Check the 2nd video :)

5 years of ownership and i didn't know about a few of these. Cheers
Well done.
Thanks for the video, the 2 things I wasn't aware of were the extra tailgate button & that the centre console lid clips away.
Love my Sports Pajero & thanks for sharing
Just picked up my PS yesterday, and my dealer didn't run me through any of these features! Thanks a lot mate! Some of these are really handy
Hi, great video, I didn’t know about the tailgate lock button. Btw I’ve just fitted silicone intercooler hoses, following your intercooler video. Thanks a million & keep up the good work 👍😀
I like how you acknowledge the back of your car is a tip🤣🤣
Just like you, have had the Pajero for 2 years and didn’t know any of what you showed here. Many thanks.👍
The center console lid. Only one I didnt know, but the whole video was worth it for it!
Having owned this car for 3 years I knew most of these except - Tow override for transmission, key slot next to the drivers seat and the seat belt holder in 3rd row (I thought that was shopping bag hook )
Thanks average garage… ❤💕
That's why we love Mitsubishi. 😊
Hey mate just found your video, really great and informative. Much appreciated all the tips you highlighted. Thank you for taking your time on that. Great job.
Thanks 😊
Awesome video. Thanks for taking the time.
Didn’t have a clue about the center console try and knew about the seat belt retainers but wasn’t using them right.
Glad to help!
Just got a 2017 4x4, this really helped me, the seatbelt, the tray, the key hole, the boot button
I'm in Scotland and I've had mine for 6 months,key fob,tray and boot button, hadn't a clue,cheers mate
Well you learn something new every day.. Thanks for the top tips
If you had read the instruction manual between pages 871-1042 you would have known all this! I enjoy my Pajero Sport, I just wish Mitsubishi would install a "average fuel consumption " read out that did not reset itself after 4 hours of standing.
That's the point of the video. Noone reads the manual
Hey mate great video, I did not know about the key holder/when battery is flat and selecting neutral when the cars off very handy tips👌🏻
Hahahhaha loved it mate, I didnt know about the tray in the middle console can be stored on the lid, also i too keep 2 sunglases, love my Paj sport.
haha good stuff! i actually did not know about the console tray stowaway, and the belt hooks. Love my Pajero Sport , only a GLX/entry model, but has everything we need, and tows he camper no dramas. I didn't know about the console tray clipping in the lid. Good video.
Other things are that you can do include setting the rear window demister to go on at 3 degrees or colder by itself.
LMFAO , the rear door lock button , the console tray , thanks mate
I've got a QF Exceed so there are differences. I knew about the seatbelt hooks but not how to use them properly. I didn't know about the transmission "unlock" or the centre console tray. Thanks.
Random yet enjoyable. Bravo lad 👍👍😎
loved it..the key slot and the glovebox tray trick didnt know
Nice vid...didnt know about the lid for centre consol or what the hole next to the gear stick was actually for or the button on the rear door so nice work.
keep up the good work,,i knew stuff all , thanks heaps
Danggg. I only read bits and parts of the manual, and i didnt know most of the stuff you’ve shown here, esp that smaller compartment at the rear. Thanks mate!
Thank you very much for sharing this video. For six years i know my montero sport 2016 the secret ..😁😎🙂
Legendary…I’ve had bog roll & bin bags stashed in the pat spot on my 2010 Challenger since 2014 🏆
Didn't know about the rear door lock button....after 9 months of ownership :).... many thanks
Great info buying one at moment and this has helped heaps. Thanks
This one is for sale ;)
Thanks for the info 👍
I’m picking up my GLS deluxe in 4 weeks

good review mate. well done
Great vid. Finally got mine 🎉
Thanks, that was really helpful to know

Omg, I can’t believe you didn’t know about any of that!
At the supermarket I always shut my car from the rear door
i have the first gen model of what you have here and its amazing what stayed in the design and what didnt. like the back storage compartments are still the same size mine are a little bigger but the access panel things look the same size. i have a series 1 pa challenger mitsubishi this would be a pc challenger over seas.

Thanks mate :)
Wow this video is very informative. 😊
Excellent news. Great to know. 👍
Subbed! Good man!
4 years with the exceed and didn’t know about the center console tray.
cheers, five years and I didn't know I could lock the back with the button, and the bit about shifting gear by jamming the hole, had no idea!
Thanks mate gleaned some good info.
Great video. Appreciate your effort/time. Maybe do a video on how to use the DAB radio, as so many people don't understand it and that you can replay your favourite song when it comes on or put on ABC Kids for the little ones.
Great suggestion!
Thanks for the info
Absolutely fabulous…thanks. Any chance you could do one on managing/explaining all the functions such as blind spot and particularly the numerous noises that are emitted on my QF PS Exceed? Thanks 👍
I've only got the qe sorry haha, poverty pack for the win!
Thank you for t6e information like you I haven’t read the booklet all the way through I just wish Mitsubishi would make a dvd of the amazing car for sales against to hand out to buyers when they have purchased the vehicle
If you press the main steering control: up up down down left right left right, you can turn the Pajero Sport into the monster mama V8 Pajero.
I gotta try this!
Button on boot is new to me! Thanks.
Is there a key slot out side of the vehicle? I only have a button on the door what use is the actual key for then?
Where's is the power/radio antenna located or placed. I see no shark fin antenna for instance in your Mitsubishi Pajero sport..
I don’t own one of these but I would like one someday. Very useful tips. I cant find a video that show how to remove the third row for more space. Do you know how to?
Awesome. thanks Bro.
I didn’t know about the button on the back! Thanks
Great video.
Had my Pajero Exceed for 4 years and didn’t know it had an engine under the hood.........
Wow, I've never seen a PS with that rear cup holders, most cup holders I see on a PS is where it magically appears when you press the middle
Great vid
Where did you get the carbon fibre inserts for around the shifter?
The piano black scratches so easily so carbon fibre would be great to cover it
You can also close your ac vents in the dash. For the two in the middle just push the silver controller going towards the screen and it will close while for the two ac vents on passenger and driver side just push it towards the window and it will also close
*push/slide 😁
Love my Triton, but starting to understand why my mate picked up one of these.
Good one dude
The boot lock button is a new one for me.
Anyone know if there is a headlight adjuster in the cab
Handy info thanks
Cheers
My sales agent told me all of that! Nice tips though!!
have my Pajero sport 2014 model year and the storage compartment... I straight guess it out and give it a try the time I see the car
Very helpful
Glad to hear that
Man how did you find out about these 😂😂 the key override by the knee, the little square that lets you put it into neutral to be recovered or towed (would have helped at julimar when my car kept turning off to try not hydrolock itself and I kept forcing it back on) 😂😂 the centre console lid, 🤯🤯
It's all in the manual but my background helped alot hahaha
Thanks for the vid, I've just ordered a GLS for delivery next Feb (approx) I love the look of your bull bar, what model is it and where did you get it? Cheers.
It's a piak elite bar mate. I can supply them but not fit them. However there are plenty of suppliers who can fit also
@@T.A.G Thanks, I'll investigate with our local supplier Opposite Lock
Ahoy mate! New sub here 😊
Thanks for subbing
Awesome thanks
A lot of this applies to an Outlander as well. I wasn't using the rear seatbelt holders properly 😅
Very nice, but what about the CarPlay or satellite navigation on the vehicle?
Well bugger me, knew about the seatbelt holders but no idea about the rest, but to be fair we only got her a few weeks ago...........sending to my wife right now!! 👍
Great work by the way mate! 👍
Like the normal person, no bullshit style 👍👍
Nice Coverage 👌
I knew about everything you mentioned except for the centre console tray. Also wanting to increase the indicator volume and switch the car from right hand drive to left hand drive preferences as it improves the Bluetooth and phone speaker.
i dont know if you already know this but there is an auto handbrake system where it engages whenever you put the gear in "P" :D
I believe that's only one the newer models and exceed
Seatbelts... BAM! Key FOB... BAM! Centre console... BAM SUBSCRIBED!
Thanks 😊
Just picked one up on hire. With the auto box if you change manually will it after a while just go back to auto?
Once you stop.
Or hold the + shift paddle for a few seconds.
Your car is so clean😁😁😁😁
Seat belt holder.? I've been using it to hold shopping
this has helped my with my outlander hahaha
I did not know about the button for the boot 😂😂
Final secret - filling the radiators with mud will cause overheating…
Hey mate,
Are you still selling the wheel spacer for the spare aftermarket 17inch rims?
Yeah mate shoot me a PM on the Facebook page and we can sort you out
Didn't know about the storage each side in the rear. Cheers!
Nice video! Considering buying the Pajero Sport and had a look at few already - great cars!
Would you spend the extra $ for the uplift model (2020 onwards?) or is 2016-2019 as good?
The only difference I noticed was the front bumper and few extra features but I would be replacing it with ironman bullbar so doesn't bother me too much
I thought the seat belt hooks were for hooking your grocery bags to lol
Haha. Always the way hey
Hi I did not know about the read door lock or the center consul tray and I have read the manual.
Hey mate - where did you get the carbon firbe wraps for the interior??
Arjetta
