    This is the first time I have seen your videos and I am thrilled. I did not know about sprouting flax seed. I have grounded my flaxseed and I store it in the freezer, is that still okay to use? Thank you so very much!

    Any time you give food advice there should be a good balance between the topic, information, video runtime and the beauty of the people giving the information as it can be easy to become distracted. Great video!

    Thank you for the video. I have wondered if it was possible to sprout flax since the seeds are mucilaginous. ~ Michele

    Thank you, exactly what I was looking for! Can the sprouts then be kept in the fridge? If so how long?

    Can you allow it to dry and blend it? I make a DIY with flaxseed, Blueberries and tumeric shot for my daughter. She takes it every morning on an empty stomach. Can you advise on once they are sprouted how to keep them fresh or preserve it for longer use? My daughter is on the spectrum of ASD. Thank you. Glad I found you.

    When you "wash" the seeds, are you draining them before spreading on the cloth?

    Is roasting the flaxseed followed by grinding a healthy way to consume?

    • @lifeinthespectrum1195
      @lifeinthespectrum1195  10 місяців тому +4

      Healthier than not to consume it at all but bear in mind that best is to consume it immediately after grinding as ground flex oxidizes very quickly

    Hello ,
    Tell me please what do you mean , 3-5 mm ? Is it the stem of the sprouting flax or the total length with the root ?
    (Because the root already succeed the 3 mm before the cotyledons grow)

    What is the reason to soak it in salt for two hours?

    • @lifeinthespectrum1195
      @lifeinthespectrum1195  7 місяців тому +1

      Soaking in salt or acidic water signals seeds to wake up and sprout

    If for whatever reason one cannot sprout can you add grounded flax seeds to foods? Thanks

    • @lifeinthespectrum1195
      @lifeinthespectrum1195  6 місяців тому

      The best way is to use freshly ground flax seeds because the grinding of flax seeds makes it oxidize quickly

    Is it dangerous if I letthe sprouts grow longer?

    • @lifeinthespectrum1195
      @lifeinthespectrum1195  7 місяців тому

      Can be dangerous if it gets moldy and also young seed sprouts offer more nutrition benefits that the mature ones
