I knew hemp seeds were a powerhouse of nutrients, but I had no idea
how far beyond the other seeds hemp was.
Thank you again.
You're amazing
How far beyond? Did you even watch the video to the end?
Loving these detailed videos, I'm really getting some interesting nutrition information from them. Please don't stop what you're doing. Love from England 🏴
I thought Chia was top. I plan on adding all three to my meal plans. Thank you for your channel! I have a lot to learn.
Wow! Such incredibly detailed and valuable information! Thank you for the great videos you produce. So glad I found your channel. ❤
Forgot to compare fiber. Insoluble vs soluble. Not complaining. But, since this was so comprehensive I think the fiber comparison was the only thing missing to make it "complete". Then again I am not a nutritionist... excellent comparison
I brought all three already mixed together and I love it thanks for sharing 👍🏽👏🏽😍
Me too! I bought mine at Walmart. $9.00.
I am going to mix mine great idea.
Absolutely love the structure of your video. So thorough and organized. Thank you. Definitely subscribing.
I like the shotgun approach: eat all three for breakfast either in summer smoothie or winter oatmeal. I’m a fan of diversity in my plants. Enjoyed your days and columns. Good to understand. 🙏
Thank you ,that was a well presented head to head comparison . The only element missing was their oxalate profile and cons . Chia is high in oxalates for people with kidney issues . Flax has traces of cyanogenic glycosides and all three must be taken in moderation to avoid intestinal blockages from over consumption . Well done !
Your gut microbes break down oxalates in digestion process. Seeds were made to be eaten. All this fuss about oxalates ive eaten plants my whole life and never had a kidney stone. Oxalates is just propaganda used to create fear mongering .
This is great information! I'm sure it was very time consuming to gather it all but I'm so happy you did it. Thank you.
Thank you for this excellent, concise, and beautifully organized video. You are greatly appreciated 😄
I thank you for all the work, both research and content wise. Very comprehensive and data driven; well done. Great Clip!
Outstanding video!
Thank you for sharing.
I have a Tablespoon every day of Flax, Chia, Hemp, Sunflower, and Pumpkin. ♥
Have you noticed positive health effects since and if so how has doing this improved your life if I may?:)❤
@@Bluemoonjellyfishh I've made many other diet and lifestyle changes, so it's hard to pinpoint what helped and how. But last month I got a bad bout of Covid and got over it pretty quick.
This is awesome 🙌 thanks for adding the ratio and the extra info re: honorable mention!
Thank you for the information!
I make granola with all three. I put less flax in then the others because being male I have to watch out for how flax changes estrogen levels. Chia makes it thicken up and hemp has a pretty good cereal like taste. Flax does make it taste better. I add other things like coconut flakes, salt, cinnamon, etc.
Thanks a lot for this great video...
I am stealing your recipe, thanks alot 😊
@@Mwaura13 Great! I also add vanilla, maple extract, allspice, depending on what I have on hand. Always add butter and maybe heavy cream. Pour hot water over all and let it thicken. If you want it cooked more you could cook it on a stove like 5 minute oatmeal.
@@1thinkhealthy recipe please?
@@1MSally1965 I don't have a recipe. I don't measure it out. I will try to list the ingredients from the most amount to less.
Hemp seeds coconut flakes chia seeds flax cinnamon allspice salt
When I make it I add hot water, a bit of heavy cream, butter, sweetener (usually no added sugar jam), more cinnamon and maybe allspice, vanilla, maple extract.
Hope I remembered that right.
Thank you for this informative Video. I've been procrastinating entering this type of data into Cronometer for the seeds I consume, the Video encouraged me to do so!
Absolutely brilliant comparative breakdown!
Great video! Highly appreciated.
Just found your channel! I feel like I just hit the jackpot. 😃
Me too 🤗
Thank you for thorough and clear explanations.
This is awesome. Deeper than any nutritional label. I have used all 3 in recent years.
omgosh so thorough with your charts ! very well organized ! well done to the creator
I love all your videos. You've got such amazing information. Thank you so much!
If you shop at Aldi they stock a flax and pumpkin milled blend, the latter is super nutritious and the former brings down high cholesterol like a miracle cure.
Oooh. Good to know!
I haven't seen that at Aldi, but I will look for it.
I buy Hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds at aldi but I live in Europe. They also have Flax and Chia. In the US you should check Trader Joe's. That's owned by Aldi Nord.
Little tip, as soon as you open ground flax seeds (not if they are whole), place them in the freezer to preserve the freshness. Learned from Dr. Ekberg today. Ideally ground them yourself, but if not, freezing is a good option.
Be aware that ground flaxseeds have a lot of arsenic
Wow!!!
My son and I have learned a lot from your videos. Thank you for explaining this way. Truly educational!!! Love love love!!!
Thank you! Your channel is amazing ❤
Thank you so much for all your detailed information it’s wonderful x😊

I'm glad you are so into the numbers. This is one of the stepping Stones to human evolution. Thank you for your service
I'd suggest that you consider consciousness as the basis for evolution. In any case, I'd like to understand how numbers in this case is a "stepping stone" to human evolution?
Thank you for all your hard work. That is very interesting.
Love this video, great info❤
Thanks very much! Looks like I’ll be sprinkling all three on my salads.
Like details. Don't get why someone wouldn't. Nice work. Subscribed today.

Love this. I've learned so much with your videos, making saurkrauts and now hemp milk. Thank you so much 😊.
Great channel so glad I found it
This was a great introduction to seeds for me. A great starting point and video to refrrrjcr during my continued research to choose one of these seeds. Ideally I’d prefer to grow my own, so that will factor heavily on my decision- while I was going to start with chia seeds though. Now I’m going to begin with hemp seed 😊 j appreciate the time you took to create this informative video- one more subscriber here ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks for this video!
Enjoying this info. Very much. Thank You
I like this profiling. Having Celiac Disease nutritionally dense foods have to be my "GO TO". This helps alot. Thank you!

I have been so confused on what to do thank you thank you thank you ❤
Great video thanks 😊❤
Great info thanks
I just found your channel and subscribed because of the in depth nutrient comparisons.
I would like to see the comparison between white and purple califlour.
Great analysis and presentation. I always add chia and flax seeds to my yogurt but I didn't know all the benefits. Now I learned about HEMP seeds and their nutritional value so I'll add those. I wonder if one ads these to their diet, are regular multivitamins needed, and is their a recommended daily does on all 3?
Complicated but extremely interesting. Thank you so much.
I'm curious to know what you found complicated?
Great video! Thank you for your work! We can feel your passion!...
Just wondering, what about FIBER and the special “lignans” nutrient found in flax?
I'm loving your videos! I eat hemp seeds on my salads every day. Now I know why I feel so good afterward. I just watched your hemp seed milk video, too, so I can't wait to make it! Goodbye almond milk!
Thanks so much! I'll be sharing your videos!
How much do u take
Thank you very much for INTERESTING information
Thanks so much!
First class work as always
Nice thank so much!
🎉 just started using Hemp seeds but will continue and spread the word.🎉
I eat meat and take a vegan (no mercury) omega supplement so I'm not worried about the protein or omega compositions too much. I consume all 3 of these seeds throughout a given week and that's what I think lands us in the best nutritional place in the long run, because who knows what else is in these foods that we don't yet know to measure. In other words, I'm not picking a favorite, but I'm now better informed about each one's strengths when I'm planning meals.
I like to soak the seeds overnight, with or without fermenting, because I think "relaxing" the seeds makes them more digestible/bio-available.
As a visual learner who becomes stressed by too many details in audio format, I just fast forwarded to toward the end of each chart and paused the video while I read them. I really like the highlights you gave to each category and also the reinforcement of it all with the winners circles in each category, and the over all winners circle at the end. Most excellent teaching modes! 👏 thank you for your efforts.
Yup soak you seeds soak beans too to break down cell walls. I soak my beans 24 hours in eater and then cook for a conciderble amount of time after. Never had digestive issues infact my gut is loving the different types of fibre i can feel it strengthening my gut. I have allergies so i can tell when my gut is not strong
I love the color of the cabinets.
Interesting, when I started eating seeds, these 3 were on top of my list.
Hi. I'm new here! I was looking for some information on hemp, flax, and chia seeds.
I’m eating all 3 in smoothies I love them so much thank you 🙏 so much for the info ❤❤❤ May God bless you
You did an incredible job ….i am a plant person so i worry about this ratio of omegas…..thank you so much…i am so glad I found your channel….this was truly excellent and I am not a newbie……❤
thanks so much....be bless.
I liked this video! I put them all in my kefir smoothies every morning.
Wonderful!
Great presenation
Antiinflamation properties? --> Flax seed.
Anticancer properties (kills the cancer cells)? --> Hemp seed.
Useful and very informative.
Good video!
I was surprised that the Omega ratio wasn't better for the Hemp seeds. Thank you for the comparison.
I recently saw your fermented hemp milk video which will be replacing my goat milk kefir.
This is great, I spent hours last night researching this same info to no prevail
Freeze-dried Maqui berry powder, chyavanprash jam, hemp milk, banyan botanicals trim support tablets, gerb's super 7 seed mix & best made cell salts (economy pack). Aka: the new gods. I love your video, i subscribed to your channel within 1 minute of viewing this video. Well done.
Ty for the video. Im a newbie and never tired any before. Just brought chia seeds to try with the almond milk.
Ps love the color of your kitchen
Excellent!🤓
Tuned in on this race to find a true winner of seeds...
thank you for the info and yes i expected hemp seeds to have more of omega 3.
Thanks a lot for a very professional and helpful video. You are doing a great job.
I wonder Which hemp seeds are the best to buy, the seeds or the hearts?
EXCELLENT! Do you have one including the best tasting seed, the PUMKIN seed? :)
Very informative. I found the amino acids information most relevant to me. I like amino acids. I was disappointed about not getting the information on ALA (alpha lipoic acid). I know flax seeds have a lot. I don't know anything about hemp or chia seeds, in this regard.
Awesome video. I am curious to hear about the plant fiber nutrition facts. I've read that plant fiber is a hugely important part of a healthy diet.
That's a good question. What have you learned since you asked the question, if I may ask? Thanks.
