I don’t even try to gap an iridium plug. I have seen some say they do. Good luck with it. I take a look at them. A few hundreds or thousands in gap is not something I will feel or hurt performance. A failing plug is something you’ll definitely notice.
I don’t check them anymore. I don’t set them because I’m likely to break them. They’re new and all I have checked are within spec. Eyeball them and move on.
