My new (to me) 06 just turned 6,000 miles. I don't want to ride it because it's bone stock perfect (Just wanna put it in a capsule and leave it in my living room 😂) but I REALLY want to ride it because it's perfect, (Just hop on and never stop). Seriously, I'm torn. I just need a second one lol
Nice job the K5 and the k6 are the best Suzukis ever made those bikes do not quit and they just want to win every race they don't believe in losing . I got the k6 and I take care of my baby ,she's polished up beautiful everything's original always took care of it just change the muffler and put on a slip and also a power command , none of the new bikes come close to the K5 or k6 it doesn't have the same feeling like the old bikes it may be old school or whatever ,but these bikes they made to run and race I'm proud of my k6 but a nice job , I appreciate your video keep coming out with some more I support you one love God bless ❤️🙏
Your right bro I love my k6 1000. Better than my BMW BMW 1000rr k6 has been here from new. Lots of liter bikes have came and went but my k6 is still here what does this tell ya.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Thanks bro. I moved out of that house already, have a little more room in this new one 😁. But i know what you mean, had to get a lift cuz of my bad back and gave me an excuse to get one lol
I just bought a 2005 gsxr 1000 and the 1st owner threw on a full Öhlins suspension (forks leaking - not bad, getting it fixed though) brembo brake master cylinder (idk if the actual line is leaking or if the seal on the lever is leaking) but they ended disconnecting the brake light sensor (completely gone) and the running daylight doesn't work on it 🤦🏽♂️ but she runs strong and shifts like butter haha
You suspension set up sounds nice 😁 but do you if the front brake is actually leaking or does it just feel like brake fade? (Like it feels to soft when pressing on the brake lever?)
Thanks bro! N it will eventually leak all the oil n get more uncomfortable riding. It will start causing uneven tire wear n ur risking of messing up the internal components which will cause more money in the long run. N last the fluid will start getting on the rotor on the the brake pad causing brake failure 😔
Where you located at bro? I bought a 2005 GSXR 1000 and I have a couple things that I would like to have done to it too bad I don't have a mechanic like you here in Reno Nevada.
Hi there great video, I’m looking at a 2003 gsxr 600 21,000 mls from a motorcycle dealer he told me the exhaust bypass fi light was on ? It has had a replacement end can on the exhaust can you enlighten me please, thanks.
First I would make sure the FI code is for the exup valve motor (which is the code he is referring to) and not something else. If the exup valve motor is still on the bike with the cables disconnected then all you have to do is reconnect the harness that connects to it and the code should go away.
Thanks very much for taking the time to reply I've since spoke to him, he said his mechanic connected it to the computer and re set it to the correct parameters and the fi light is now out, does this sound correct, many thanks.
Np im here to help 👍 Not sure how he can set up to the right parameters because its either connect or disconnect it from my understanding but as long as he connected it back and the lights off, then you should be good
@@SUPSGARAGE I have read that many gsxr owners use semi-synthetic oils because there is no reason for full synthetics. I always used full synth, but I’m just wondering
@@lriper4702 Well in my opinion, the more synthetic you have the more the oil will last longer to perfecting you engine and again I've never seen motorcycle semi synthetic for bikes because most motorcycle require full synthetic due to there wet clutches that need it.
Had me a K7 600 Gsxr, sold it cause I wanted a 1k. Found a K5 1000 n loved it. I ended up getting into an accident. Healed up and went out and got me a K6 1000. I say that to say this.. I had to go back and get one of those beast again! K5/K6 1k best bikes ever built. Aka “ Godzilla” of Bikes 💯🦾
I put 135000kms on my k4. Still going strong. Maintenance is the key i believe.
My 06 just turned 30,000 miles and she's still a beast.
Not even run in yet I know a guy in Scotland that has a k5 that's done 200000 miles and it's still going strong

looks like the orange light your talking about is the low level fuel light.
what was the cost for that sort of maintanance if you dont mind telling me?
