Hey Daniel, tip for that Milwaukee M18 SDS. The battery you were using in the video looked like an XC 4 or 5 Ah at most. That’s way undersized for an SDS, they are power hungry! You want a high output battery “HO” on the side, and either 8 or 12 Ah. They won’t overheat and they will easily last at least twice as long.
Man I miss my basements, here in Texas its almost all slab on grade. Putting in a whole house shutoff isn't really possible either here, as the inlet into the house is buried in the wall, come up about 4-5", "T" off to feed a sink, and u-turn back into the slab to the next sink/tub/shower/WC. Just snakes all under the slab. Keep up the good work sir! 🤠👍
Tell Mike to get you a corded Milwaukee SDS for drilling those exterior holes. I have one specifically so I dont burn through 6 batteries in one job lol
No Daniel, I am not OSHA....Nice video but.look at how much mold, dust and Debris particles are in the air. Question is how much did you injest/inhale.....without a mask?
About time a device was made to wireless cutoff the main water. I always thought that would be a good idea to not worry about an automatic water feeder failure stuck opened. What does that main cutoff device cost Daniel?
Nice clean install but and FYI , you’re mounting lumber is too close to the single wall venting of the boiler (must maintain 6 inch clearance to single wall venting & 1 inch for B vent ). Also, don’t forget the gas utility should be contacted about the extra gas load if the total cubic feet per hour, exceeds gas meter rating, which in this case was most likely a 250 cfh . Keep up the good work and stay safe out there (don’t forget to wear those facemask when heavy dust particles are present ).
I think it looks like they finished the basement, sanded the drywall (because the taper needs to learn how to apply tape) and didn’t protect the equipment.
@@DCHVAC Thanks. How do you flush this system then? Meaning, how do I push vinegar through JUST the hot water process without sending the vinegar throughout the house?
Hey Daniel...confirmed... If you look at the manual, you will see that it requires both the hot and cold water be able to be turned off in order to ever service it...the service valves are useless without a way to isolate the system from both the cold and hot water. How have you guys flushed the system with descaling agent in your other installs?
As long as cold can be Isolated the unit can still be flushed out so long as fixtures aren’t being used for hot water. Regardless adding a valve when we come for service is easy
Drilling a hole that large and deep through concrete or masonry you’re best off using a corded tool. That way you’re not wasting time swapping batteries, not putting that major strain on a cordless tool that isn’t as strong as the wired motor, and not killing the long term battery life of all of your batteries.
"heating doesn't keep up" you're missing a circulator on the primary loop, boiler circ only goes thru its close tees, and the 2 heating loops are looping at their tees, I don't see a circ between the boiler injection, and the heating secondaries, Ask Dan Holeran.
@@DCHVAC I have Blue drill drivers and hammer drills fron 2002 ,my Red ones are either rebuilt or in the trash! Another reason I prefer Blue! Like I said,Red has some good stuff, but I dont buy anything from just one manufacturer.
Why is your brother, Peter, the office manager out with you on the job? Where is Dove or the other new hire Mike mentioned? Or Josh? Something’s going on… 🧐
I know about Peter. Why is he out in the field instead of working in the office? Short staffed for now? I guess that’s why Mike was thinking again about rehiring Josh. And wasn’t there another new hire recently?

Nice diagnosis! I love your content because you’re so relaxed. Your whispering demeanor is relaxing. You’re going to go far in this business.

Love when the brothers work together🎉team Campbell 🍀
Another fine install and craftsmanship Daniel. Nice to see Peter also. Keep on ricking the trades brother. Good Job.
Wow Daniel and Peter you guys got done a lot today!!!
beautiful clean install. looked like a very productive day...
Crazy to go through the foundation. Go through the rim joist. I repeat crazy to go through the foundation. Exhaust through the rim joist!!!
Thanks for the great video Danny, it was nice coming back to UA-cam after spending 4 days in bed with the "RONA" lol (Covid). Hope you stay healthy!
That’s what I’ve been doing the last few days too
@@DCHVAC Take care of yourself, my friend. Hope you feel better soon!
Nice add in of the dramatic music for effect 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂. Daniel is quite the video producer.
You can figure it out on your own Daniel! 🏆🏆🏆
Excellent busy day! 👍👍

Don't forget to clean the dishes and do the laundry before you leave. 😂😂😂😂😂
You know right
Where’d dove go he didn’t last long? And why’d he go
It wasn’t the job for him, he left on good terms
busy guy. and you looked like you had fun today.
Great job. Fixed all the HVAC in one trip. Your boss is out of control last few days. Just FYI.
Why do you people feel the need to comment their opinions about my boss….
Well, you're both on UA-cam. Wishing the best for you. God Bless.@@DCHVAC

I used corded if u watch it all.
Great video and job well done Daniel 👏
Hey how's it working out with the new fella dov?

Whats the pressure washer you guys used to clean that mini split head?
What happened with the new guy Dove?
I think he flew the coop.
Reason I asked was our NYC guys wanted to start using it and they said it was banned as of last February 2023.
That NTI is OVERPIPED!! Nice little unit though. It's good to see Peter getting dirty.
Great install Daniel. On the Bosch did you install the cleaning valve for annual flashing and cleaning of the heat exchanger
Great work!
Love your videos❤
What a lint factory. Looks like the dryer vent was not hooked up or leaking really bad

Nothing like working on the hoarder house
Do they allow mega-press down there now, last I knew it was not allowed in all five boroughs.
It’s allowed
Hey Daniel...why did you not put ball valves at the inlet and outlet? What if you need to shut off the water supply?
@@jkarkowsky there is a shutoff for the inlet. The outlet is not allowed to have a shutoff per code.

Hey Daniel . Are you happy with Klein manometer you are using? And you reccomend it?
Yea
What happened to Dove?? That was short lived..
It wasn’t for him he moved on
I didn't know dove is no longer there what happened you work him to hard
He's not giving much away
always corded for the hammer drill... Batteries are a pain with high output tools.
What no water filtering system?
Hi Daniel. Klein manometer you use. Is it good and if you happy with it?
Yes
Pre drill 2x4 = no split wood!
Alot of work to do today.

110 volt the best
The new guy quit already?
Left on good terms

Boiler has its own circulator for primary loop.
Systems piped wrong
Hi Peter
I choose the Blue tools over the Red! Dont get me wrong,I own both and thats why I choose Blue.

Dove left. Josh got fired a while ago.
Peter doesn’t like field work so he runs the office.
I know about Josh. But Mike talked recently about rehiring him.
