Nice job young man. Im a 44 yr old fellow whose been doing HVAC for 26 years now and its very promising to see that at least some of the next generation is knowledgeable and not afraid to put in the extra effort to do a quality install. Unfortunately around my parts that is the exception and not the rule. wish i could have one like you on our install crew.
I have said for years, that min 7 wire t-stat wire should be code ! Just finished a job ,that ony had 3 wires,so had to fish new ones. Also should not be allowed to cross stud bays! Thx for the video
Been watching your videos and I'm impressed with your level of knowledge and skill at such a young age. Also your commitment to excellence is going to serve you well in your career. How did you get your training?
Love your video. Very thorough and your work looks great! FYI, the Bosch IDS systems (and all heat pumps and ACs) still have compressors. The inverter is a device which changes DC (not you) power to AC. The inverter supplies the power to the compressor (thus an inverter-driven compressor).
Nice job! Love the channel my guy!! Glad to see another person opening the liquid line first, I like to do the liquid line first because that’s how refrigerant flows and I want to avoid damaging things like the txv. I always pressurize a system through the liquid line slowly. Manuals state to open the liquid line first. You’re awesome man!!
Cannot possibly fathom how you can do anything better than this Daniel 🏆🏆. Fantastic work, brazing too. And good job Peter also 👍 BTW, you’re missing some hair on your upper lip 😂

wifi thermastat is expensive but works great in situations where its hard to re run wire! also no vent after ptrap? it will drain hard and build up algae over time! good video

Many brands are going to that, including Goodman, York, carrier, Trane. I work on Goodman more than anything and I hate those boards. They are making me want to quit, however it will end most of the fly by the night companies and diy repairs.
@@PipeDoctor it's always best practice to flush line set. It will get out all contaminants. How is flushing or should a pig through it and never had a problem yet. Once didn't clean the line set and had many issues.
@@osvaldomcs1213how do you flush out the flush? I'm being serious. I can't get all the fluid out afterwards. You'd need an air supply with at least a 7/8 inside diameter hose.
Never mention how many times you add charge. According to the law once you know there’s a leak, leak needs to be repaired. If there’s an inspector watching this, you could get reported. Good work on the install!!
Technology must not ALWAYS be embraced due to circumstance. It should be, through mutual respect with design and application in-mind. Abhorrent technology exists, ten fold now as compared to a couple decades ago... Technology is often added with little regard to end users, using coin phrases like efficiency, or adaptability. In the end, most tech is E waste. End users shovel money hand over fist when it fails. More-so they bend over with the availability times for such tech parts. PSC and shaded-pole motors are still tech, but are environmentally friendlier (Not considering power usage mind you). They are also readily available. The IDS is a neat machine. However... How readily available are all its parts? We must not forget that all technology shouldn't be inherently cherished or good. Do you want to wait in the heat or cold for esoteric, proprietary tech parts? Do you want to pay for a machine that may be discontinued, or obsolete at the drop of someone else's hat? Things to consider in full prior to pledging allegiance to random tech pushed by someone else

Looks good! Would recommend putting the scale on the ground when charging, restricting airflow on the condenser will raise subcooling
Great install 👍🏽

It’s a heat pump system so refrigerant flows in either direction.
That was some clean brazing Daniel 🔥 nice to see some videos coming from ya
That house call pro is sweet thanks for sharing nice job happy to see you’re posting again
Great video job well done as always.
Thanks again!
Great video. I'm installing my first Bosch system saturated. Keep it up. Thanks.
Love that vacuum technology. Does it save every successful vacuum you make to upload to each job file? Is that a field piece product?

The pan is the pan for vertical installation, so it plays no factor whether it’s sealed or not.

Just curious, why are you brazing and using 15 here when you have been using Stabrite8 on the MP vids ?
We use braze rod now. Have been for over a year. Check any of mikes recent videos.

i ended up swapping from my trublu valve core removal tools back to appion. they just offer better access to rebuilding them.
Yea I think I’m gonna try the new NAVAC. I don’t like the appion because they leak

I’d rather have a mini split style condensing unit with this type of air handler set up.

Does the price of $16550 include installation?
Getting navien vibes from these bosch boards, no way those last? Doesn’t look like it would survive a drop of water
