Don't know why I'm wasting my time commenting... Started watching a video you put up. Thought, thats great the guy services my area. I might use him. Went to see what other videos you put up and came upon this. So here's the thing, we probably share many common values, but this guy will never be my messenger. I would never want him to be my boss, take a plumbing job from him, allow him to marry one of my daughter's, etc etc. He is a sociopath, end of story.

Be a man: push a contactor in with your tongue. 😆 17:26 I don't know if it really matters or not, but I was always taught to put your micron gauge on the opposite end of the system from your pump. Doing so supposedly allows for improved accurate readings. In this field, it's all about efficiency. Regarding recording while working, you could save SO much time and get your jobs done MUCH faster by simply recording the entire job, changing batteries when necessary, without any commentary. Then, during your free time, edit/post videos and include respective commentary. Even better: if you have a gf, show her how to edit your videos - save you even more time. Then you can dedicate your quality time towards other high priorities. Great vid young bro. Keep up the good work.
You are making Mikey Pipes rich. …

The fan will run when it senses a leak and shut down the compressor. That way it keeps the volume of A2L in the air well below the lower explosion limit. Welcome to the new world! Pretty soon we will all be using R744. 😁
5:55 Why do they make the utility rooms so damn small! Ugh. My big boned body wouldn't fit in there for sure! 🤣👍

Great job 👍
How come you and Peter don’t say hi to Nana Claire
That closet looks too small to meet the Bosch requirements for A2L equipment room. The room area in which the unit is installed shall be not less than 20% Amin. Amin is shown in Tables 6-8.
@@jeffmeier1663 read the manual fully. There is a fully open common ceiling above the entire basement which is over a foot tall, the entire area of the home, and ventilated.

Pussy move by that customer who ran his mouth AFTER his issue was resolved. He knew damn well that if he pulled that BS while you were repairing the problem, there was a real possibility that you could walk off the job site. Truly an entitled piece of 💩💩! I hope that Scott character realizes what a Shemp of a guy he has as a future Son-in-Law! I know that 💩bag would not say this, but hell of a job diagnosing and repairing that system properly and efficiently!
So when it senses a leak it shuts off mechanical cooling but runs the blower till the sensor no longer reads any refrigerant in the cabinet. I went to the carrier a2l course and they were saying every manufacture is doing the same thing
I was a self-employed business and residential telecom tech for 20 years, back when people had land lines, cable TV and wired Ethernet. 9 out of 10 folks were super nice and a joy to work for, but it was the 1 out of 10 that were a pita and really wear you down. Did you used to work for the pipe doctor?
Daniel and Peter are part of the PDHS family team.
Still do… hence the pipe doctor hat.
I remember this being installed. Doesnt seem that long ago.
For those with attitudes, the entire world has signed treaties to eliminate anthropological climate warming, over 100 countries. GWP refrigerants will be banned, just like chlorinated refrigerants are. Cost is not an issue. Flammable refrigerants are inevitable and all training and installation laws are already being rolled out in USA. I am a licensed tech with U-608 and a 1.5 years in residential, along with being a retired Chemical Engineering Tech of 20 years. Get used to change. Peoplevin the tradecwork with ammonia everybday and is much more dangerous IMO.
Broaden your horizons kid. Uei does the job but there’s so many other great meters available that have more features. Field piece sc440 is my favorite. My favorite feature of it is 3 phase rotation. And the audio and visual indication that hey we have power Can’t go wrong with a fluke
@@drodriguez394 I don’t like fluke, ive had it and didnt like it. I really enjoy my meter it does what i need it to do. I dont work on 3 phase equipment much. Maybe once a year.
Why use the mapp and Oxy when you can get yourself a nice little acetylene torch with smaller MC tank . One tank instead of 2
@@JuliusAlbert-i6k it’s acetylene oxy. And it burns much hotter than a b tank with a turbo torch. It’s ideal for brazing and what should be used.
I would say, you should’ve provided quote to install a softener or filtration to makeup water. Otherwise this keeps happening every year and nothing is getting solved.
It was an emergency service call for a broken boiler, the customer called us, and we went and fixed it. The water filtration is being discussed. He’s a regular customer, subscriber, and friend of mine. He doesn’t neglect his equipment. He’s a retired oil tech.
Pretty sweet units. Nice job on the install
Way to go with the filter on the first unit. Need to go to the right or tell the framer to move that door frame. Not gonna pass inspection like that. And one of the units you will see from the window.
It’s not being inspected. And that was the only way to put the filter in. Not enough room on other sides. They can fix the door that’s not on me that’s on the workers who r making the equipment impossible to access.
@@DCHVAC Not being inspected? Did you even do a load Calculation. Also I can tell you are not a true tin knocker. You could have built a new return base to extend it to the right and center in the door. That is completely on you. Your job as an installer is to make you have the correct clearance for service per code.
@ no my job was to install this equipment. The duct work is made by others.
@@DCHVAC Others who???? Can you even measure and make your own duct work fittings? It is apart of the job description.
@ the job description is to install equipment utilizing existing duct connections. I don’t have the equipment on me to make ductwork. They have tin knockers who make duct work if needed. Framers to move walls or change door. They are using a general contractor to do all of the work. My job entailed installing equipment and that it. We told them what we would do for $X and they said ok do it.
It shuts down the condensor and runs the indoor fan for 5 minutes than resets and goes to normal operation I think it should stay locked out but they don’t crazy right now
How do you dispose of a condenser full of refrigerant . Why don't you just reclaim it?
@@danparisi1587 I can reclaim it in the warmth of our shop if we needed to. However we have a guy who picks up our condensers to dispose of them properly.
Be careful about selling anything with r454b for the time being.. it's already being banned in some countries because it contains "forever chemicals". Forever chemicals are kinda dangerous, it won't be long until it's banned here.
Ha, that'll be the reason for the next money grab change. Just a cycle to make money. That sounds worse than the previous refrigerants though.
@natepeterson7145 no kidding. It's what has caused HVAC to almost triple in prices.
that filter is never gonna changed with it that hard to change.. and once drywalled/door fame its in for life
Get yourself some nice sunglasses Dan.😎
So this was a job paid for and done just a year ago and apparently someone has had to come out and fix the problems not caused by the customer 3 times and then blames it on water quality issues which likely means they’re going to have to pay more money to fix the issue that should have already been taken care of initially.. but theyve had to go without heat on 3 separate occasions now. Id be a little frustrated also and i don’t think the customer was too rude at all and didnt sound like he was cursing at you in particularly but just saying curse words like everybody else does.. the rude part of the video is posting the thing calling them rude and what youve said about them in the comments.. stuff like that can get you fired these days.. pretty quick.. best to bite your tongue and just not post the videos of customers who arent happy and easy going and know your filming the entire time because its illegal to film inside peoples houses without their permission first..
Boobies.. ( • )( • )Ԅ(‾⌣‾ԅ)
I have 1000% permission to record from the customer. The owner of the property, who is a friend of mine, a subscriber, and a loyal customer. He’s a retired tech. And knows exactly what went down. As well as my boss. This boiler was installed over 3 years ago now, and the customer knows there’s a water issue. He replaced feed valves every couple of years with his old boiler, and he is considering water filtration. They went without heat one time. The other times the customer noticed an issue because he’s a retired oil tech and isn’t an idiot like you. I went out on a Saturday. Because I chose too, not because I had to. And the guy who was complaining doesn’t even pay the bills. Maybe don’t watch my content if you have such a problem jumping to negative conclusions.

Finally, a young technician using the proper equipment to pull a vacuum with a quality pump, the best hoses and pulling well below 500 microns. Not just doing the bare minimums. The original carrier manuals called to be vacuumed to 100 or below microns. My guys and I use the same equipment and take pictures for each client's file.
