Kipchoge, Bekele, Haile and Hicham El Guerrouj made many people fall in love with athleticism. Pure talent, commitment and passion. Performing at a high level for a long time. Many people can perform at a lower level for a long time or perform at a high level for a short period, but very few can perform at a high level for a long period.
the only reason why people can’t perform at a high level for a long period of time is that they can’t sustain that kind of living, these profesional athletes get paid to run, to perform at their peak~their very best. And that’s the standard imposed on then. But if you’re an average joe who needs to work and doesn’t have a lot of free time, consistency is very hard.
Yes
De Peru buena enseñanza xf si podrian traducir tambien en español buen dia gracias 👍👏🏼👏🏼🏃
2:33 Pleasantly surprised they had subtitles for the British sounding guy just like the East Africans.
Haha 😂
When I lived in Wyoming I trained at about 7,200 feet of elevation 5 days a week on mountain roads that were 1/2 a mile in length and longer. When I returned to my hometown of Omaha, Nebraska I would sign up for 10K races, and it was like so much easier running running at 1,089 feet above sea level, and at 40 years of age ran my best time of 39:45, not bad for a former fat guy cigarette smoker.
Congratulations to you on your run, and your commitment to a healthy lifestyle. All the best to you and yours.
39:45 was your time for 10k?
Yes, and I was shocked that I went that fast after a night of heavy eating (sloppy joes, potato chips, chocolate cookies, and lots of beer), and only about 6.5 hours of sleep. There’s was a misty rain for the entire race, and the first 3.1 miles was a very slight downhill. I was shocked that I had made my goal time!
Long runs at altitude. These athletes are really something.
I use to live in a small town in Colorado (8,236feet) & would do my long run's up to 9,200feet and speed workout's at (5,328feet).
That was my best (Marathon Training) period!!!!!
☕👣🏃
That you NN Running for another great video, inspiring and motivational. All the best to the team the world major races in remaining time of 2022.

Excelentes Atletas! Dignos de Admirar.
Bekele GOAT
And barega and cheptegei are their successors
I love this Team. They are really inspiring me to run even more. And it seems like as they get better, they get humbler.
Thanks for the insight. Great to see and learn from the best. One day I will do altitude training as well.

I am indian but respect other countries athletic man for salute
I love Kenyan runner
I’ve never tried altitude training but the concept sparks my interest a lot and can’t wait to do it some day. I primarily do swimming but also distance running and cycling so it will definitely make a significant impact on my endurance and athletism i think
Iten Kenya will be the best place for you
It’s about hemoglobin levels. You “think”? Why would you even question that?
Awesome
I always love that the English of many Africans is superior to many Americans, yet they still subtitle the Africans.
Science + Athletics 🤝
I'm 4 months into my training in Kaptagat. sadly though I picked up pleurisy and typhoid so training has been hard. I recommend Kaptagat forest but clean water is always a problem here.
All the best for a full recovery & good running!
@@mauricepointer9555 thank you
Importance
Sucks to be someone with thalassemia... by birth you are already significant disadvantageous in running, with lower haemoglobin than others. i wonder if running at altitude can boost that to the normal range
Thats why, Kenyans runner are the best runner in the world
actually, ethiopians, norwegians.
These respected athileticsm and always watch video

Sometimes I ask myself, why don't you let them talk more elaborately in their native languages and just translate that?
Not that they of course can speak english and should be let to do so. But I wonder if they could give a better inside to their knowledge, when language is not an issue
yes very true. when japanese runners are interviewed by americans, they'd translate from japanese to english. like yuki kawauchi, osako suguru, niiya hitomi
so they use epo micro dose and say it atmospher got it
the fbi said the longer u talk the harder it is to hold the secreat so i wait and wait and wait
Tell me that's a typo and not a new Americanism.
Releasing a lot of lactic acid into the muscles is not beneficial to your running
👊👍👍🙌🙌👏👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
After a. Many many months 😂😂
There is oxygen in the air. Same amount on any altitude it’s the partial pressure that makes it difficult to inhale. That’s it. So stop that madness “no oxygen” at 2200 m of altitude.
randy moss lost tapes
😂
Traduzcan al idioma Español !!!!!!!!! 😡
