I bought the Make Up Forever powder foundation after hearing all the praises and tested it against the Fenty Pro Filtr soft matte powder foundation. I tested both on multiple consecutive days, where I applied half face of Fenty and half of MUF just to clearly see how they do on my oily skin. While they are both comparable and lovely at the start of application, MUF turns shiny on me after 1.5 hours and my husband said that i had much more visible texture on the MUF side of my face. I gave it a few more chances but i had the same results each time. Haven’t touched MUF since then and kept using Fenty instead. Such a shame because i prefer the compact size and shape of MUF much more than Fenty.
My best advice (that no one asked for lol) is the prep and finish that’s going to make the biggest impact. Danessa Myricks balm powder for prime and 100 percent pure bamboo powder to finish. These two products have been the most unbelievable game changer for extra oily skin.
Okay! I ordered the Makeup Forever HD Skin Matte Velvet in the same shade as she used. Wish me luck! I also got their setting spray. 🥰UPDATE: It's been about a week of wearing this powder foundation and setting spray. I am so happy with it. I work a 10 hour shift and this holds up really well. The sides of my nose need a blot here and there. But overall, I am happy. And no oxidation. I have been using Benefit Porefessional Primer underneath it on my T-zone. This makes me very happy!
I am excited to try some of these. My makeup is a wreck after like 5 hours at work. The oil just breaks apart any makeup on my t-zone and it's awful. Blotting helps a little, but it always ruins the makeup. And if I put a powder on it to blur the oil, it become a muddy mess!
Thank you so much for the reviews and the application tips! I have the makeup forever powder foundation but really had no idea how to use it. Your tips are wonderful! Thank you!
I don’t think you’re old enough to remember the original Revlon Colorstay but it’s just not the same. It used to be my favorite but when they changed to a pump bottle it changed.
I actually bought the Revlon Colorstay a while ago because of one of your reviews and I agree: it's the best drugstore foundation for oily skin! I was amazed on how it performs and it's even better than my OG go to foundation, the Maybelling Fit Me! Thank you 🥰
Dior foundation is something I have. I still use it from time to time. The reason is , is anything but transfer proof. I do not know if there is a difference in formula between EU and other continents But, it is not transfer proof.
Best powder foundation is Jane Iredale's PurePressed. Can be sheer to full coverage, looks better as the day wears on and has some SPF. Best liquid matte foundation is Chanel's Ultra le Teint Velvet.
I have loved Chanel Ultra le Teint Velvet until I realised their shades are a little too rosy for me as I have a warm golden undertone. If they were to add more shades I would definitely get back to it, the finish is amazing and it lasts forever!
The Lancôme was amazing. Used it for years and they recently discontinued the classic foundation and replaced it . The new replacement Lancôme is not as good and increased the oily look. If anyone knows a brand comparable, that works on oily skin, medium coverage please share !!!
Im very oily and live in a very humid climate, i hate stickiness, i just want a thin, dry formula without spf and all that skincare inside 😂 that they like to put now to any formula.
It makes sense to me that pink shades should be termed as warm and olive as cool, I’ve never understood why people call pink undertones cool, and green as warm, I’m an artist and aware of the colour wheel, and as far as I’m aware red has always been a warm colour and green a cold one 😂
I love watching your channel ❤ However, just a suggestion on your website. I understand you have ads on it for financial purposes, but there's too many. It really makes it hard to view the site. There's an auto ad the pops up, then the constant running ads towards the bottom..... Not trying to be a turd. Perhaps I'll just stick to watching your videos ❤
EsteeLauder Double Weat stays on better AND look better than all of these! But no way you can use as much of it that you show you are using here! You don’t need that with DB.
Oh, the makeup is not put on to get RID of the oiliness, she's putting it on to show how well it works as makeup DESPITE having oily skin!! I don't have a great understanding of makeup (so that's why I'm here lol) but I think the idea is kinda like how "sticky" the makeup is in terms of how well the makeup stays on and for how long given that you have oily skin.

Great review ! Thank you 😊
I wonder if she will do this for dry skin I would love to see the foundation she loves for dry skin
What about estée Lauder foundation?
Lancome took its spot - milabubeautyreview.com/teint-idole-lancome-foundation/

Lancome did it for me after trying lots of high end undertones was just right
Love your channel! ❤ which primer is your favorite?
What foundation brush are you using Ma'am? Thanks.
What shades do you wear please?

Which you showed which shades they were.

Thank you, Dior, for still daring to have great smelling foundations!
Where is @Huda beauty foundation girl? Huda beauty foundation is best for oily skin in my opinion. It's full coverage and oily girl friendly
are you sure huda beauty is good enough for oily skin, can you name it exactly..?
Revlon colourstay is the only one that works on my oily skin but I hate the shades I wish they were more warm yellow
Why isn’t Estée Lauder doublewear on here?
Does the Nars soft matt foundation cling to dry spots?
It can if you don’t moisturize well
What about the powder do you do full coverage powder is it the same like a liquid foundation
I love watching your channel ❤

No EL Double Wear?
What’s the brush?
Very good 🎉
The new Teint Idole just does NOT look as good as the old version!
1.57 million subs and only 37 comments? hmm
Did you get a new mic? Cause in your recent videos, you're echoing a lot. Needs to be fixed
No matter which one you use your skin still looks oily to me
I disagree- she’s showing how it looks after applying each one.
No she does not

It’ll always look oily cause it’s oily skin, it may look matte at first but after hour or two it’ll always looks oily
No she looks glowy and healthy...
Ok girl you bought me with the NARS thank you😻🫶🫶
