Love the no7 radiance! Blends nicely, feels lightweight, natural & very affordable especially with the great offers no7 consistently offers. Def no need to spend £30+ (and for sure not £40+!) for a great foundation! thx so much for the full comparison!
I'm so pleased you picked the Collection one! I had to go into hospital recently when I was least expecting it & had no make up with me! (Which was the most traumatic thing about the whole incident!)...ended up having to do a delivery order from a nearby shop & picked the cheapest thing i could see that looked ok...this exact foundation! It's the best I've found for ages & I'll be sticking with it now!
Love Catrice, super affordable. For my combo mature skin, the Catrice True Skin lasts way longer, will definitely repurchase. Their Serum foundation wears off me real quick, so use for non-work days where longevity doesn't matter, and won't repurchase.
Thank you so much for these reviews, I know it must have been a pain. I really appreciate you showing the finish in daylight, it helps so much, most of us aren’t vampires and have to venture out into sunlight 😂. Loving your work, look forward to the next one xx

I got a sample pot of the No7 one from my local store. Unfortunately the shade range doesn’t have a suitable one for me, I’m pale with a cool undertone. I liked the product and the finished look so I would recommend if you find a good shade match.
I have oily mature skin and just today posted a video reviewing the IT Cosmetics Natural Matte and it didn't work for me either. Looked cakey from the get go and didn't wear well.
These drug store foundations look great. I am also a big fan of No7 foundation and as a dry skin girl I can say they usually work well for me. I have tried a few collection products in the past but the foundations have never been good in my experience. I will have to try this new one though!!! If you haven't tried the Rimmel Kind and free skin tint I would also recommend that to you

Thanks for the in-depth reviews! I was caught up in the hype over the new Dior stick foundation and purchased it during the ongoing Sephora sale. It was a total failure on my dry, over-60 skin. The matte finish made my skin look dead, it accented my pores, and the fragrance irritated my skin. Avoid if you have mature skin!

I tried the IT Cosmetics matte product and can agree with Gemma’s assessment. I thought it was too drying and did not apply or blend easily. I would love to know how the UD foundation compares to their previous Naked foundation. I do want to try the BB foundation but the price tag is a bit much. I don’t think Gemma’s number is accurate…it’s $57 at US Sephoras and on their website. I may be thinking of a different formula but I don’t think so. Why is it when I come to England I can drop a ridiculous amount of money at Boots on stuff I can’t get in America? You guys have stuff that is just better in quality…so frustrating.
Love and appreciate your honesty in reviewing things! Wonder if you can recommend a budget peptide serum…I received a bottle of Thrive Timeless peptide serum in a breast cancer hope box and I liked it so much but it is no longer made ( I think companies donate discontinued products for these gift boxes to cancer patients but still are much appreciated)…anyhow I’m on a hunt for a peptide serum I can use as mine is about empty.
I have been using the geek and gorgeous power peptide serum. It’s a lovely milky consistency and absorbs beautifully. It’s also pretty affordable and has a number of different peptides. 😊

I’d love to try all the foundations in this video but the biggest problem I have is finding my shade. I’m really really fair with a cool undertone and most brands simply don’t make a cool shade light enough. I wish more brands bothered to categorise their shades into cool/neutral/warm - it’d make the search so much easier! Elf Soft Glam 10, Fair Cool, is my perfect shade match but I’m not keen on the foundation itself - it just sits on top of my skin and transfers like crazy. Does anyone have any suggestions for an affordable cool undertone, very light shade foundation which doesn’t transfer?? I love the No. 7 and L’Oreal formulas but again they don’t make my shade 😢. I’m guessing the Korean brands are my best bet!
