We need a best concealer video 👏🏻👏🏻,, you mentioned 4 of the foundations I use on my clients,, these foundations you can never go wrong with it .. even if you used it wrong it will show up great on the skin 👏🏻👏🏻..
I am 50 with dry skin. Getting used to my new older skin I finally Splurged on good foundations I have five of what you mentioned. Armani luminous silk and the Guerlain our by far, my favorite. They make me look 10 years younger love it. You’re amazing so glad I found your channel.
I'm 45 and plan to try some of these when I get out shopping next week. I have KVD serum foundation and I love it, I have used Estee Lauder double wear. It's beautiful but I want something less matt. I think I'll try Armani luminous silk. Thank you for your helpful comment. 😊
For my fellow migraine sufferers: Guerlain - highly perfumed and a definite no for me. Dior - not as cloying but still a no. Armani: yes, I can do it. Scent is subjective of course, but this one is light enough and dissipates quickly. It is a cleaner smelling fragrance (almost like soap) and I think that's why I can get away with it. I have dry/combo skin and can still wear the Power Fabric for special occasions as Nikki said. The Luminous Silk is my holy grail for every day. I buy the mini and make a separate mix of the two. Or I just wear the Power Fabric on my t-zone if I need more coverage and longer wear. Fragrance free; Haus Labs, Pat McGrath and Nars but the Nars and PML lean too peachy for me. Haus Labs does have a better shade range including light olive but it is not as natural and skin-like as the Armani and doesn’t set down as well. So there is more transfer and it doesn't wear as well. But it is more glowy if you like that. I have not tried the La Mer due to price/fragrance or the KVD yet. I hope this helps those with chronic allergies. If you know, you know.
@@trishknight6983 Sorry, no. They must have reformulated since I tried it bc I see it now says fragrance free. It was makeup-y and too full coverage for me, but that may be what you like. The Luminous Silk is hard to tell you have makeup on. If I need fuller coverage I wear the power fabric.

I’m 70 and live in Louisiana, and have used several of your favorites. The one that is my all time favorite and the one I always come back to however, is hands down Estée Lauder Double Wear! I know it’s not necessarily the most popular right now, but it is unbeatable in my opinion!
Me too! I still love my double wear; especially when I’m feeling I need extra help. I still also love Lancôme. Does no one wear that one anymore? I feel so old school but these are all so good, too!
I’m in Louisiana too and double wear is my absolute favorite! I’m trying to find an alternative for day to day but nothing looks as good as double wear to me. I wore it for my barn wedding in June and it did not budge.
I decided to treat myself during the Sephora sale and picked up the Dior Forever because of your recommendation. It's almost magic how well it controls my oils while still looking like skin. My husband asked me after I had been wearing it for 10 hours if I had touched up my makeup because it looked so freshly applied. Game changing recommendation for me Nikki!
@@bernicenelson4643 I understand but I’m older and as I get older I seem to prefer a less “made up look” for every day. For some reason with foundation I do look like I’m wearing makeup whereas with tinted moisturizers I get compliments on my skin instead.
I’ve recently figured out that a small amount of foundation applied with a sponge gives same effect as a tint and is more cost effective because you need less product.
Hi! I second your comment I prefer skin tints or tinted moisturizers as well. I hope she does a video for those but in the meantime a nice trick is just getting a bit of foundation and mixing it with your moisturizer, creates a custom tinted moisturizer :)
I’ve also taken to mixing foundation with an untinted sunscreen. An extra note- amazed how much I like Maybelline’s Super Stay. It’s glowy without being over the top and doesn’t look makeupey.
Thank you! I’m 46 and lately my go-to foundation from Sephora is the Valentino. It’s skin like but gives me the coverage I need without emphasizing texture and I don’t feel it on my skin, it’s long-wearing, and works great in different climates, just love it. Same with Pat McGrath except I don’t find it wears as long as Valentino on me
This is what I do for a foundation bottle without a pump: take the cap off, then put your index finger over the top and press the bottle with the index on top and thumb underneath, and shake to mix. Then, put down the bottle, and that dot of makeup on your index finger when you shook the bottle, that’s what goes on the face. Repeat as needed. Not only can you control how much you put on, but it’s also CLEAN. No spillage, no dripping, all control. Hope this helps someone. 😁
Thank you so much for taking the time to do your tutorials. I did watch the entire video of your foundations. I have been wearing Estée Lauder Doublewear for 30 years now. I have tried switching up to others, but always find myself going back to the Estée Lauder double wear or the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue Foundation. I find for my money these give me the most coverage for what I want. I am a Retired Registered Nurse and wanted the long day coverage, so that is what I wore. I did try the Haus Labs foundation as a sample and two from Dior and liked them both, but they didn’t give me the coverage I needed. I am 67 years old, and don’t think I’ll change now. Thank you Nikki.😀🤗❤️🇨🇦
We are foundation twins! I am 57 and have been wearing EL double wear for that many years as well. I have the original, the sheer, the hydra rescue, and the powder. Sometimes I feel like I'm missing out on all the new fabulous foundations, but I cannot find a shade match in any of them no matter how many shades they have. Watching all these videos is giving me fomo 😂. I find I can sheer out the double wear as needed. I haven't tried the new serum version yet, I might try it out. My shade is pebble.
I’m 53. Normal skin. Cool tone. KVD is my favorite. It is SO good. Thin, full coverage. Doesn’t seem possible. But it’s fantastic! Thank you for this video. 😊
😇Air hug received!!!! I watched the entire other foundation video and loved it! Now watching this one and am just as grateful! You take so much time and your videos are fantastic! Also! God bless your left cheek. Its been through A LOT! Thanks! Nikki!
I absolutely love the Dior forever, KVD, haus labs. I’m 52 years old with normal to dry very textured large pore skin , and these formulas are absolutely beautiful. Not cakey, does not crease, great coverage, and stunning formulas.!
The first video I watched was your all Sephora foundation video. I’ve been hooked ever since. Love your videos! I am always on the hunt for the “perfect” foundation. Can you do a video of the best foundations not sold at Sephora or Ulta 🙏
Dior Backstage is my favorite of these, especially since they have added shades that are great for light Olive toned skin like mine. The 2WO is perfection on me, and the finish is lovely!
You literally do market and product research for us!! You are doing eight jobs in one! Thank you so much for your honest and always transparent expertise!! 😭 I always love your videos and how informative they are! Also, your voice is very calm and soothing along with your speech choices. ❤
A consultant at Ulta recommended the Pat McGrath, and i LOVE it!! I used to wear only chanel foundations or the armani luminous silk, but honestly i now prefer the PMG. It just looks better on my mature skin, and lasts longer than the Chanel and Armani. I also have the Dior Forever glow--i like it too but it doesn't compare to the PMG.
I will starting by saying I’m 50 with dry/combo/acne prone skin. I have been enjoying the Haus labs from the new ones I tried…but…the Pat MacGrath is simply perfection. I prefere it to my Chanel(s), Dior(s), Lancôme(s), E. Lauder, Hourglass,…is just unbeatable on my skin. The concealer and eye powder combination, also from PMG, are also the perfect match for my under eye.
@@sherryb8133 Great 😊, good to know. It just works all year around to me too even if I travel to the beach and sweat. It accepts all my skincare below it does not matter how creative I get. It accept building on top of my pores and they just get better. I’m in love🥰.
I got the Haus Labs foundation recently and was so impressed. I feel like it really looks great on my more textured skin. It gives a nice blur and smooth effect and I actually don't need a powder on top if I don't feel like it. Very skin-like finish! The next one I want to try is the Dior Face & Body. I'm so surprised that it's the least expensive option here!
The face and body will feel so much lighter than the haus labs! But equally long wearing. You’ll love it also because it’s so easy to apply and blend out!
So back in 2017 when I first got married I used the Sephora mist airbrush foundation. What a throwback! Dior at the time just didn’t have a good shade for me. After watching your videos I thought I’d go back and try Armani luminous silk again and oh my goodness. It’s beautiful. When I was younger I just couldn’t make it look good! Now I feel like I can smooth it over my skin even with my hands and it’s just lovely! So glad I tried it and got it during the sale!!
I just got the Sephora waterproof eyeliner in Coconut on your recommendation and I love it. It really brightens up my eyes without being overly bold like many others I have tried. Thank you 😊
I’ve been reading that opthomologists are warning people not to use eyeliner on the waterline. I had been using the Coconut on my lower waterline, but now I’m scared.
Hi Nikki! Please do a concealer version of this video, it’s so difficult to decide with so many amazing formulas on the market, and your advice is so honest and helpful! Loved this video and the one where you tried out alllll the foundations at Sephora ❤️ Lots of love xx
I normally listen to reviews while doing a bunch of stuff in the house. Nikki, your videos are the only one i listen to and can’t get my eyes off the screen! While i listen to your wise piece of advice, i’m just there looking at the perfection of your contour/blush/highlight, being delighted by the reflection of the lights on your face. Admiring the way you put your lipstick on. You do make up in a way it look so good that it didn’t even look like makeup anymore. Your clients are definitely lucky 🌹🩷
Thank you for this summary. I’ve rewatched the full video and sections of it several times. I don’t even need a new foundation! I like the fact you’ve summarized everything. I own a few of these you’ve mentioned. You have changed my approach to makeup and makeup application a lot. You are the real game changer.
I have rosacea and tons of texture and I love the way the Guerlain Terracotta foundation looks and feels on my skin. Works year-round and is so long-lasting. I also love Dior foundations but the Forever Natural with the light cap version is just stunning. It's between the glow and matte version and it's alcohol free.
Hi I too suffer from type 2 rosacea would like to know what’s are your favourites in terms of foundations and other makeup stuff pls .. will really appreciate as majority stuff broke me out
Hello Nikki, I agree on the Dior Backstage. It’s my holy grail. I have dry very sensitive skin and I continue to repurchase. I also enjoy the Dior Forever Glow and Armani Luminous Silk. I tried the Guerlain but the fragrance was too much. It broke me out 😢 . The finish was beautiful but I had a horrible reaction.
Nice review Nikki! Turns out that I own 5 here and they’re all stunning. Could you please review Cle De Peau foundations too I want to hear your opinion. Thank you. ❤
Most thorough description of foundations I’ve heard! I really appreciate your honesty and evaluating each brand so I can make a good choice for my skin.
Thank you, Nikki. I love that you will include the OG EL Double Wear, when it seems like most others won't mention it. What can i say, I feel validated now! ❤😂
I love the Guerlain foundation! I find that I prefer it applied with a sponge than a brush bc it looks more airbrushed on me that way, but it looks beautiful applied with a brush as well. I highly recommend it!
Hi Nikki! So happy to have seen Dior forever skin-glow on your tippy top foundations 🥰. That's the foundation I'd used on my wedding day as you're so right, amazing long-wear for DRY skin 🎉🎉🎉
Nikki, I am thrilled you added another foundation video! More coming from you is too good to be true. Go get em girl. You certainly know your makeup. I admire your natural ability to describe each foundation accurately. I have discovered through the years how truly amazing your advice about each product and new products launched that the accumulation of knowledge continues to expand. Very cool to watch and learn! You are seriously saving me money on products I don’t need to buy. Love, Melanie❤
Love watching your videos. I am a 60-year-old and have to go back into work so make up is now part of my routine again after working from home for four years trying not to waste my money as I have in the past and you are going to help me get through this, thank you for your caring heart and honest opinions.
I love the Dior Face and Body so much because it is such a great mixture product. I think I had 90% of these and agree but the Dior and Armani are my go-to! ❤
I bought the Dior forever glow foundation. I am so happy with the results. Loveto watch your videos. I have learned so much about makeup with your tutorials. You are a gem.
Nikki, this is a GREAT video! I’ve been on the fence about Haus Labs but you’ve sold me! Can we please get an updated brow routine? They are looking amazing here. I can’t seem to get those hairlike strokes, especially at the front of my brows, to look natural and not blocky!
My fav is pat mcgrath skinfetish foundation. I'm 37 and my skin appreciates it a lot 😅 Could you do a full face of gym proof makeup one time plsssss xx
I was honestly suprised not to see hourglass ambient soft glow.. high end yes, but gives the most subtle glow “ambient” I suppose and it lasts ALL day! Love you Nikki🤍🤍🎥
Estée Lauder Double Wear is the GOAT! Every time I try to find something better to replace it with, sadly, I end up returning because for me to keep a foundation, it has to be better than what I’m using. Don’t be scared if you have dry skin. I’m almost 45 with dry, dehydrated skin (but not flaky) and hyperpigmentation, and I love Double Wear. I also live in a humid climate, and just as Nikki said, this STAYS PUT all day. I just wish it came with a pump. I buy the pump separately for $10. But at $52, like come with a dang pump! It used to be just under $50, but they’ve raised their price and still no pump. But it performs. I use Estée Lauder’s Maximum Coverage foundation as a concealer for my melasma/hyperpigmentation on my upper cheeks and less than a pump of the Double Wear on top all over. You don’t need more than a pump or it can look heavy. I really wanted to try the Guerlain one because so many UA-camrs rave about it. It did not beat Double Wear on my skin. Didn’t like the fragrance and looked more drying in some areas and was not as smoothing over my forehead fine lines as Double Wear is. But one I really have been impressed with and kept this year was Mac Studio Radiance Serum Powered Foundation sold at Ulta. Currently on sale for $34.50 (regularly $46). If you’re looking for something on the more radiant end and not velvety matte like Double Wear, try it out. It looked beautiful on my skin. I found Haus Lab looked beautiful and glowy upon initial application, but that one emphasized my fine lines.
Just got a sample of the Dior backstage, and I am in love.❤ I have super dry skin, and couldn’t get the Haus Labs to work for me. Like the Dior foreverglow, just didn’t end up with quite the right shade. Trying either the Nars natural radiant or the Armani luminous silk next. Thank you for all the suggestions. 😊
I love these videos. They are my favorite. Foundation is one of the most important part of your makeup. That’s why it’s called Foundation!!!! Lol ❤❤❤❤ keep coming with them. We love your tutorials they are the best! 💕♥️
I love Armani luminous foundation and the Dior Forever as well. The Dior pump I don’t care for. It can get messy but doesn’t take away from how beautiful the foundation is.
Such an amazingly helpful video. Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into it. I would so love to purchase the Pat McGrath fdnt., but there's no purely light cool shade--only light with pink neutral undertones. It seems like a number of foundations do not have many options for those of us with a light, strong cool undertone. One foundation I love on my mature skin is the Kosas Revealer foundation.
You are my favorite educational makeup UA-cam channel. I have been using KVD serum foundation for almost a year now. It's definitely my favorite I have ever used. I was thrilled to see how happy you were with it when you first tried it. I haven't tried some of the others you love yet. I'm finally going makeup shopping next week. How will I decide which to try 😂 maybe I can get samples. Ohh I need to find a mascara video. My super short and straight lashes need help.
Can't wait for the mascara video! Thank you ladies for the suggestions. I'll check them out when I go shopping next week. Gotta restock some things for my mini vacation to Asheville. I'm going to get that Givenchy powder. I'm super excited to try it.
I agree with the bold Dior statement….they’re foundations are winners! Love Haus Labs, Nars, Estée Lauder & La Mer foundations!! They are perfection for me and have repurchased. Great video and insight to share, thank you for the hard work Nikki 🫶🏻
As a 50 year old with very sensitive and combo skin, my two faves from this list are Nars radiant longwear and Estee Lauder double wear. None of them have fragrance, oils or alcohol. Love them! 🤩
Thank you! I too have mature combo sensitive skin. Mature skin like ours rarely get a mention because everyone takes it for granted that older women have solely dry skin. I love Estée Lauder Double Wear. It's one of the few foundations that lasts on my face.
Yep! That Estee Lauder foundation is a holy grail staple for me now. I just recently tried the new About Face Skin-Focused Foundation though, and it may have just replaced my beloved EL. It's the only foundation I've ever used that actually looks better and MORE natural as the day goes on. And it's half the price of EL. (I'm 53, with oily to oily/normal combo skin depending upon the season.)
I'm 53 with combo skin and living in Florida. Estee Lauder Double Wear is the only foundation that can withstand the challenges presented by both my skin and the humidity.
Ironically, I own your first and last foundation choices, and they are my only and favorite foundations. As an added bonus, I justify the price of my La Mer with the worthy price point of my Dior F/B. So, it works and I don't regret or feel guilty about my preferences. Thanks for the new suggestions! I have my eye on one them.
I watched the whole 4 hour foundation video and bought 4 of your recommendations and so many other products like Makeup by Mario Neutrals! Everything you recommend is a MUST! 💋💄😍
Loved this video, as a woman in her 50's now I have noticed that foundations I used in my 30's don't look the same on me now that my skin is changing, picked up a few of ur recommendations from this video and can't wait to try them out
Thank you for this! I would just mention to light skin peeps that the Guerlain runs deep. I had to purchase shade 0N to get a match. For reference I am Yukon 2.5 in Nars Sheer Glow and shade 130 in Haus Labs. I love the Guerlain just thought I'd mention the shade issue 😊
Excellent selection, Nikki!!! I watched your other video and was blown out of the water. I actually was in between Dior Backstage and the Haus Labs Foundation, but your comments finally helped me make up my mind! I bought the Dior Backastage a few days ago. I am hoping it will be a big hit! Thank you for being so candid and honest about makeup products that could be otherwise too darn overhyped and expensive. I love your channel! Keep up the superb work! I look forward to watching more of your content!!!
I have loved the Armani Power Fabric for years and tend to mix it with other foundations (like the La Mer or Guerlain) to add a tiny bit more coverage to it. Love your channel - thank you for all the recommendations, tips & tricks ~
Hi Nikki - love all your videos!!! ❤❤❤ Thank you for creating them for us 🙏🏻 I used to only wear tinted moisturizers but after discovering you i purchased Dior backstage face and body and Armani Luminous silk and i fell in love with foundations 🥰 Now i want more 😁
I just love to watch your tutorials Nikki, very educational and full of info, btw gorgeous makeup on this video. I just got my Armani Silk foundation because of your recommendation and it’s beautiful before this one the Dior Forever Glow was my fav.
I loved the La Mer foundation, got a lot of compliments,, the down was the scent… it was the only foundation that i finished fast. I never bought again, as pandemic happened. Now i more on skin tints already or sometimes just powder,
I haven't tried too many foundations, but I will say the Haus Labs foundation is absolutely beautiful! It's also very user friendly, if you will, in that it goes on and blends in very quickly. I also have the Armani Luminous Silk foundation and what I notice is that it takes me a little bit longer to apply that one than the Haus Labs. Still, I love it also and is a great recommendation for sure! Thank you for putting this together, Nikki!! I LOVE to hear your thoughts on makeup and where I should put my hard earned cash! lol
I love the Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte foundation. A little goes a long way, it has incredible coverage, works amazing for mature, oily skin, hides my pores, doesnt look like I'm wearing foundation, and stays put all day. Can't ask for more.
Nikki is the best, but if you have *oily, *textured, and/or more mature skin, I can't recommend Risa Does Makeup enough. She has very oily, textured skin, and is straight up about what works for her, and what doesn't. I love Nikki, but if I tried to do her dewy look, I'd be in oil slick territory before I walked out the door. 😂
Nikki has a recent video for her oily skin routine. Risa Does Makeup reviewed the new MAC foundation and said it is her new Holy Grail. She is 50 with oily skin and larger pores. It looks stunning on her.
@@kellyross4801 Yes, her skin is perfect so everything looks good on her! The true test is to see how these look on someone my age with my issues lol. Love Risa too
i actually saw the kvd foundation at tjmaxx for $17 so i grabbed it since you’ve talked so highly about it (and the packaging is gorg) and i loveeee it i never wear foundation bc it makes my skin look textured and heavy and this one some how makes it still look like skin
Thank you so much for working so hard for us to get the best possible result from our foundation. Please do a video on this look your wearing pleeeeease!!! 🙏🏻
I saved up to buy La Mer and how spectacular it was! Nikki I hope you made a video of some Chanel foundations but in the future since you have many for now. I love your content! ❤
I got a sample of the Dior Glow this week and tried it on in 90 degree weather. It looked so surprisingly beautiful; I usually wear mattes because it gets 122 degrees here and I have combo oily skin. It got a little “glowy” while I was pumping gas but once inside, perfect again. And Estée Lauder is indeed the OG. I’m waiting on a good sale to repurchase it.
Before Nars came out a lot of people couldn’t find their undertones. I truly believe Nars was ahead of their time with undertones for mixed skin. I appreciate that. The Armani Luminous Silk foundation is chef’s kiss.
La Mer is my favorite foundation of all time. I don’t like the price but I buy it when I get the $100 voucher for my 2500 points at Sephora or at Nordstom with nordy notes. It is the best on my 56 yr old dry skin. I’ve been using it for the past 5 years or so. Glad you included it.
I went from loving my power fabric to the luminous silk even though I’m a true oily skin. I guess my skin IS changing as I’m getting older. Absolutely love it. It could be that it also is not summer yet 😆😆 we will see. I sample the HL and loved it too.
My 3 favorite foundations are on this video! The Dior Backstage, Guerlain and the Estee Lauder. For me, the Dior Backstage is the most versatile one and it's the one I use the most because of that! The Guerlain just looks like a filter and I tend to use it when I want my face to look blurred. The Estée Lauder is bomb but I don't use it that often because the coverage is FULL, I tend to just use it on special events. Love your videos, I'd like to know your opinion on blushes sold at Sephora.
Thank you! I’ll have to try a couple of these. I’m 56 with dry skin and I finally bought the Armani luminous silk foundation and idk if it’s because everyone over hyped it but it’s the worst foundation I have. There’s nothing luminous about it. I feel like it dries my skin more. Don’t like wearing it at all.
I believe Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Airbrush foundation is the best! My other best is MAC Studio Fix foundation. They’re both look great and last all day!
As a neutral (leaning cool) toned skin girlie I can attest that NARS is not for us lol I just tried their foundation and it was so orange on me 😭 so I just splurged and order the mini Armani foundation because I’m the maid of honor in my friends wedding this summer and need something good !
I love watching you! You are so great for tips on not only what makeup to use but HOW! I love that. I’m 58 and used to work for Lancôme but years later I feel like everything is brand new. I just love skin care so much and learning abut makeup techniques etc. you are so talented and so pretty. Just a joy! Oh and I just love your jewelry. Can you share your collection sometime? ❤
Hello Nikki, when I want to have a perfect complexion I always use “Estée Lauder” because I have oily skin and it doesn’t budge all day. Thank you for sharing.🏵🏵🏵

@@bernicenelson4643
I understand but I’m older and as I get older I seem to prefer a less “made up look” for every day.
It's transferring bacteria from the fingers into the bottle
I agree!
I appreciate this very informative video and value your opinion ❤Thank you ❤
We are foundation twins!
@@1plus1equals25 mine is Pebble too!
I’m 53. Normal skin. Cool tone. KVD is my favorite. It is SO good. Thin, full coverage. Doesn’t seem possible. But it’s fantastic! Thank you for this video. 😊
Is it the liquid KVD or the cushion one?
@ I’ve only tried the liquid KVD foundation.😊
😇Air hug received!!!! I watched the entire other foundation video and loved it! Now watching this one and am just as grateful! You take so much time and your videos are fantastic! Also! God bless your left cheek. Its been through A LOT! Thanks! Nikki!
Spot on description of Armani Luminous Silk! Its skin-like finish is why it's my favorite. The undertones are chef's kiss.
I am 50 years old and I have been wearing Estée Lauder since I am 17 that is the only one I will ever wear. It is amazing.
Dior face and body is soo soo good! Obsessed! Also perfect for travelling and you’ll look flawless even if you get wet
Thank you thinking about getting it
I will starting by saying I’m 50 with dry/combo/acne prone skin.
@@patriciaquintela899 I’m almost 60 and that PMG foundation just makes my skin look so smooth and youthful, and doesn’t feel heavy.
Thank you 😊
I just bought that one too but its still coming to my house because throw shipping.
I’m hipnotized by your skin. My god is flawless. Not a single pore, not a single line nor bumps or zits.
i love how she ignored ur comment lol😂❤

When I wear the La Met foundation I get compliments everywhere … it’s beautiful and pigmented a little goes a long way
I normally listen to reviews while doing a bunch of stuff in the house.
This young woman is SO sweet. This video was so helpful. She deserves all the success she gets ❤
Hey! Did you get acne from it or a rash if I may ask?
The 4 foundations I have are on the list: NARS, Haus Labs, Armani Luminous, and Pat McGrath. All are fab but Armani and Pat McGrath are my top 2!
Fun fact. Pat McGrath was on the original creative team that developed Armani Beauty including the Luminous Silk foundation
@@dogwalker97 No wonder! There are mornings I can’t decide which one to wear because both are my favorites and they are both just that good.
@@Tannie6047 I’m glad you love both formulas!
So helpful, Nikki! But now I want 5 new foundations! 😂
I'm 37 and my skin appreciates it a lot 😅
Could you do a full face of gym proof makeup one time plsssss xx
I was honestly suprised not to see hourglass ambient soft glow.. high end yes, but gives the most subtle glow “ambient” I suppose and it lasts ALL day! Love you Nikki🤍🤍🎥
So grateful for all the work you put in to these videos. Your communication is so great. Clear warm and not flowery. Big fan! Thank you.
I’ve viewed the entire foundation video multiple times 🥰 thank you Nikki
Omg you are amazing for that! Thank you so much!!!❤️❤️
Estée Lauder Double Wear is the GOAT!
The Dior face & body truly saved me! I sweat so much but I have dry mature skin so I can’t powder my face to death. That foundation is chefs kiss 👌🏿
Hi Nikki Loved your video on all the Sephora foundations, listen to the whole thing , could you do your best skin preps video and concealers ❤
Ready. Sat down. Relaxed with drink in hand 🫶🏻
I love these videos. They are my favorite. Foundation is one of the most important part of your makeup. That’s why it’s called Foundation!!!! Lol ❤❤❤❤ keep coming with them. We love your tutorials they are the best! 💕♥️
I bought the Backstage because of you and I LOVE IT it is beautiful and that comes from someone who has really sensitive skin and allergies.
Does it have a thicker consistency?
Not really. It is liquid and super lightweight. But you can build it up
I love Armani luminous foundation and the Dior Forever as well.
Yes, I sat through the entire other foundation video and it was very helpful. Also the blush video.
YES THE NARS radiant longwear whatever it is is AMAZING!! I have SUPER OILY SKIN and I use that!!! And the NARS soft matte is nice too!!
Yo probé la radiant soy piel mixta y me quedó horrible me hacía parche en la nariz y a las tres horas ya no tenía base
Been loving that foundation so much ! Wish I had tried it sooner honestly! And speaking of mascara I am filming one soon!! ❤️❤️
@@Makeupbynikkilarose what's a good translucent pressed powder that's good for dry skin like just one good for touch ups on the go?
Try Thrive Mascara, love it!❤️
I’m loving the new KVD long sleeve tubing mascara
Yhp those 2 are the best!
Loved this video, as a woman in her 50's now I have noticed that foundations I used in my 30's don't look the same on me now that my skin is changing, picked up a few of ur recommendations from this video and can't wait to try them out
Which one/s did you purchase and did you find the perfect one ?
Thank you for this! I would just mention to light skin peeps that the Guerlain runs deep. I had to purchase shade 0N to get a match. For reference I am Yukon 2.5 in Nars Sheer Glow and shade 130 in Haus Labs. I love the Guerlain just thought I'd mention the shade issue 😊
That’s a really good point because I definitely noticed that too!!
Hi. I am 53, with dry, mature skin. I have quite a few of these delightful foundations. Thank you for these videos!
Same here❤
I have loved the Armani Power Fabric for years and tend to mix it with other foundations (like the La Mer or Guerlain) to add a tiny bit more coverage to it. Love your channel - thank you for all the recommendations, tips & tricks ~
Hi Nikki - love all your videos!!! ❤❤❤ Thank you for creating them for us 🙏🏻 I used to only wear tinted moisturizers but after discovering you i purchased Dior backstage face and body and Armani Luminous silk and i fell in love with foundations 🥰 Now i want more 😁
Dior Backstage and Armani luminous Silk are my favorite foundations EVER. You know what you’re talking about girl!
Is the reformulated Dior Backstage Foundation great for dry skin?
Hi Nikki,
Please can you list the products you have on in this video… you look stunning… the makeup is beautiful! Xx😊
I LOVE to hear your thoughts on makeup and where I should put my hard earned cash! lol
I just caved and bought the dior backstage foundation and highlighting palette based on your recommendation 🤞🏻🤞🏻 that I love them!
Love the luminous silk for dry weather and the Guerlain terracotta in humid weather
Thanks so much for all this info on foundations! I do not find anyone who has this kind of knowledge that I trust, Nikki.
I love how much effort you put into your content and how easy you make it for us to understand makeup 💕 Sending you love from Brazil 🫶
I love the Tom Ford Traceless Soft Matte foundation. A little goes a long way, it has incredible coverage, works amazing for mature, oily skin, hides my pores, doesnt look like I'm wearing foundation, and stays put all day. Can't ask for more.
I should add though that I use half a pump for my whole face. It's super easy to go overboard and end up with a cakey mess.
Can you do a vídeo for oily and Textures skin❤❤

I saved up to buy La Mer and how spectacular it was! Nikki I hope you made a video of some Chanel foundations but in the future since you have many for now. I love your content! ❤
Thank you so much for watching and sharing that you love the la Mer too!!!
I’d love to see your Pro kit. Just to see how you arrange it all.
Before Nars came out a lot of people couldn’t find their undertones. I truly believe Nars was ahead of their time with undertones for mixed skin. I appreciate that. The Armani Luminous Silk foundation is chef’s kiss.
Nikki you have to tell us which lipstick and blush you are wearing? The lipstick is STUNNING! You looks so beautiful.
Yes ! i totally agree
La Mer is my favorite foundation of all time. I don’t like the price but I buy it when I get the $100 voucher for my 2500 points at Sephora or at Nordstom with
nordy notes. It is the best on my 56 yr old dry skin. I’ve been using it for the past 5 years or so. Glad you included it.
Wow good to hear this is your must have! It really is quite magical on right?! And smart to use your points!!
I went from loving my power fabric to the luminous silk even though I’m a true oily skin. I guess my skin IS changing as I’m getting older. Absolutely love it. It could be that it also is not summer yet 😆😆 we will see. I sample the HL and loved it too.
You look so good with this hair color! 🥰
I just bought the KVD foundation and am IN LOVE! So glad I came across this video before purchasing!
