girll you are sooo underrateddd. I have been searching for a good foundation but it's really hard since I have acne-prone skin. Thank you so much for this, it's honestly the best review I've seen in a long time❤
I also got double wear in the last month! Straight up life-changing, I can't believe how beautiful it looks and wears. I have super oily skin but some dry patches due to eczema and acne, and it covers it all so nicely 🤯
I’m ready to get back into makeup but discouraged because of my acne/oily/textured skin type. So happy I came across your page, I hope your platform continues to grow ❤️.
@@ellerchu I have pretty oily skin in most spots and it the makeup made it seem oddly dry once I finished applying it. I'm going to try the 3rd one you recommended (I think it was 3rd 🤔). I watched yesterday so I have to go back through the video to find it lol. I'm sure I'll buy 10 more until I find one my face actually likes 😩🫠 Textured skin is difficult.
@@jessie.jay03If the L’Oréal infallible made your skin dry, the Estée Lauder is even drier. I have to hydrate my skin well for most of these foundations because they are more natural/matte (even with oily skin). 😅
I just tried out the fit me foundation and have been pleasantly surprised. The Estée Lauder foundation is my go to for special events. 😁 What make up brush do you use to apply your foundation? I love your content! 😊 I really like the close ups when applying the foundation! 👍
Have you tried tretinoin? Stieva-A cream in 0.05% is what I've been using for 2 years. Noticed less break outs and texture. Make sure to moisturize when you use it.
Have you tried MAC Studio Fix powder foundation? Is it similar to the bareminerals Barepro? Barepro has the most gorgeous and long-lasting finish on me, but unfortunately it breaks me out. I want to try the Make Up Forever one but I don't think I can get it in the UK :( MAC feels like my last resort (I don't like the brand as they test on animals).
I think the Estée Lauder foundation is best without a primer because it’s already long lasting! But I’d recommend a good moisturizer and sunscreen as the base. I use the illiyoon cream and Madagascar centella sunscreen. 🥰
Yes! I’m posting a shorts on it soon. Overall, I love the way it looks and applies on the skin. But if you have oily skin it might be too hydrating + you’ll have to add powder throughout the day.
I love that description. 😆 I would say I’m very makeup aware or a makeup enthusiast. Most of my knowledge and passion comes from a lot of trial and error when I had severe acne as a teenager.

I’m so happy to help 🫶
Honestly maybelline fit me never fails me!
Same!
I tried it out once and it looked so cakey on me for some reason. I'm going to give it another shot!
@@molsondutch93 use any primer under it?

Wow, I’m so happy it works for you, especially with dry patches. That’s good to know!
thank the UA-cam gods for suggesting finally a relatable beauty youtuber :) hope you continue posting!
Appreciate your support. 🥰 I’m posting mostly shorts atm, but working on a schedule for longer videos!
Powder foundations can be great for this skin type. Most deemphasize pores and texture.
Yes! They’re so underrated.

I’ve felt the same in the past. Thank you for the support. ❤️
I used L'Oréal Infallable yesterday and with acne prone skin I broke out immediately. No other foundation has done that to me.
That’s unfortunate 🥲

It's the Morphe "V108" Dense Blending Contour Brush. ☺️🖌️Here is my affiliate link (if you want to use it): shopstyle.it/l/bY5Pm

I’m aware, but haven’t tried it yet. Thanks for the recommendation. 😊
I'm 61 and have acne-prone skin and excessive oiliness. But I'm also really showing the signs of aging. Would a powder foundation or a liquid be best?
I would recommend a liquid or cream foundation due to powder sometimes clinging on mature skin and fine lines❤
