Great passion on your lawn. I use to mow tee boxes with your toro a classic walker. Got a degree in turf from umass I maintain a pga championship golf course. Foliars. Wetting agents that are penetrates. Fungicides. Water. Sharp reels. Bed knives. Like ur shirts. Stickers hats
Thanks for the comment, Matt! You hit all of the important ways to keep your grass looking good. Sounds like an awesome job you have. I have shirts available for purchase if you’re interested.
Great video Kyle! Got whacked with dollar spot a few weeks ago, got some fungicide down and the Fungus is gone, but a few small damage spots remain. Looking at them though it seems like they'll recover on their own once prime weather conditions return in September
Dethatching at that time would actually spread the fungus to the rest of your lawn. Instead, you can apply a fungicide like propiconazole or azoxystrobin. The grass will bounce back on its own, but the fungicide will prevent it from getting worse.
Excellent tips Kyle! But what I have in northern Illinois is a 6th cause: moles/ voles, I dug up near by and put some “ pellets “ hope they eat it and don’t come back
It has been a very rainy summer here in Maryland, like raining almost everyday. I have not mowed when the grass is wet and have brown spots throughout the lawn that almost looks like crop circles. Is this due to too much rain? I can't stop the rain, but what can I do to bring the grass back to those brown spots?
Yes, you are getting spots of fungus/disease because of the excessive moisture. You can use a fungicide to help prevent it, but it will fill back in on its own. Poking holes in the soil with a garden fork helps those spots fill in faster.
@@lakehouselawncare1755 it's been a wild ride again. The wife is talking she wants another one already! I think 4 is a good number. One more and I'm going to have my own basketball team!

Hydretain is one of the few lawn products I’m willing to spend the money on. It really works.
Good points for brown spots. I have to work on diluting my dog spots.
Thank you, Grace! It really is the easiest way to prevent your pets from damaging your grass. Thanks for the comment!
Great video Mr. C!

Thank you for the comment! I use that method all the time.

if your lawn has a fungus and there are lots of brown spots, can i use detacher for the lawn then apply fertilizer

Dude your face in the thumbnail is what my face would really look like lol 😆
😂 luckily that picture isn’t from my lawn!
@@lakehouselawncare1755 haha well I figured as much other wise that would have been your real face the whole video lol
😂
I chip in my backyard too. I've had a few hole in one's this year... the hole being my 30 inch fire pit lol🤣
Haha hell yeah!! I use my daughter’s hula hoop as my chipping target. Thanks for watching and commenting, Jonny!
What about using Dawn dish soap on your lawn just before a rainfall?
You’re right, that also helps keep your soil from drying out. Thanks for the comment!
Good tips Kyle! I like your new hat better than your favorite one… Go Twins!😉
😂 Thank you, Randy! With the way the White Sox been playing, they are no threat to your twins. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Haha look at that hat! Great video as always. I'm so glad I don't have a dog!
Thank you for the hat and the comment! I was hoping you would see that. I hope that newborn dad life is treating you well, buddy!

@@TheNeighborDominator 😂😂 man… I’m exhausted with 2.
Maybe you misspoke but propiconazole does nothing to control pythium blight, always check your product label
Next year try and water at night, and see if you get as much disease!
Animals don't go to the bathroom. They urinate. The pee. Get real.
Haha the lawn IS their bathroom! Haha
Eliminate the pets .. that's the permanent solution
