Thanks for the video great info I just got the t12 compustar installed in my RT it’s push start so it came out to 1600 a little expensive but worth every penny .
@@Mike1- Ive installed 5 of these on my personal vehicles. 4 one mile and 1 3 mile. The kit was around 280 for the one mile, and 320 for the 3 mile. I'd be willing to bet if you look under your dash, you'll be able to find the starter kill relay and see a lot of t taps crimped on. For what you paid, every single wire should be soldered, heat shrinked, and wrapped with whatever tape the factory uses. Some use regular electrical tape, some use tesa tape.
@@racerx250 I just looked at the pictures of what they put in. They used the T12 compustar remote with first tech it dc3 remote start , CH 12 Idata start T Harness and the firstech alarm kit . I really don’t know about cars like that I would really appreciate if you tell me what you think about what they put together .
They didn't t tap it. Which is good. It was plug and play, mostly. Some disassembly required to get to stuff, but that harness retails to public for around 70. Even if you had 3 years of a drone subscription, you still overpaid, in my opinion. I'm not saying you got a bad product, I'm just saying you got robbed on how much it cost you. On the plus side, the install does look a ton cleaner with those harnesses vs splicing a bunch of wires.
Well, about the range. It always been on visual sight as reference. This is true for any communication devices. Because they can’t give range when structures are in the way.
Hey brother how do you arm and unarm the alarm with this remote without any audible. I’d like to be able to to set my compustar alarm without the audible??
Everybody on all alarm reviews go...it goes off for no reason ...did you ever think someone tried to break into your car alarm goes off they run you come out 30 sec later thinkin it was false alarm...IT WASN'T !!!!!
How do you make the chirp sound when arming the car the remote chirps but my car is silent everything locks but no sound from car seems like it’s on some mode mute when I hit panic button it will sound off I’m just trying to figure out the chirp
Its just aesthetically. Its been a while, since they released them and i would love usb-c for the charging. My phone, laptop, headphones, controllers, battery bank all use usb type c. I love using the same cable for everything. In addition, its been a while. I cant decide if i should get the Pro T12 since its been a couple of years since its release. The product + installation costs a pretty penny. I dont want to have buyer's remorse when something better comes out, i understand that its a never ending cycle of new products hitting the marked and that you cant always have the best thing out there. However, if they released a revised version of the Pro T12 with usb c, phone pairing so i can locate the fob or my phone, and a better sceen. I wouldn't mind charging it more frequently. Every product can be improved upon, maybe they can receive feedback from current owners of their system. Better components may prolong the battery life or charging speed. Idk, where im going with this. I just want an updated fob. Something futuristic.
They did, I have the newer version of this remote in the video. Mine don't have a USB charger...but i just changed the battery today after 4 months of usage.
@@xpetrusx i will try to know how and if so will let you know. But please have a look at this video in the addresse below that shows you the 3x push button to start. In minute 2 ua-cam.com/video/3StmTx-Sous/v-deo.html
it is possible. Let's assume your vehicle has the idatalink bypass module, you will need the weblink cable to enable the 3x lock feature to start your car with the oem fob.
Good day sir . . I just wanna ask how to turn off the siren/alarm . . I just tried pressing the lock and unlock button the same time . .and it shows the siren off . . But still making sounds . . I'm just a beginner . . Thanks for your advice in advance . .
unfortunately i do not own this car no more i sold it with the remote control included....but you can also search on Google for compustar t11 manual there u can find answers. if what you trying to do is to mute notification for false alarm you can do so but i forgot how but u can find how on the manual, to be honest the biggest reason for me to bought this was for the 3 miles range remote start...since where i live it was hard to find parking
using it in a 2017 Ford F-150...so far so good..gonna try and find a leather sleeve for it. Reminds me of the alarms I used to have back in the day...like 2003-2004...same system just about lol.
@@xpetrusx it works great. I have dronemobile with it as well. I love dronemobile, I can remote start, lock and unlock my truck from any where around the world. I like this alarm combo that I got.
Just had the PRO T11 installed on my vehicle and although it's well made and a well functioning system, the LED remote is not legible in bright daylight or direct sunlight. When contacting customer service they informed me that they had never had a complaint about this and that I should cup my hand over the remote to be able to see it better. That is just a stupid suggestion, especially if you are walking with a cane and carrying an armful of groceries. I have confirmed this problem with several other owners. For their top of the line product I would have expected better!
for me is the first time I hear that...or i agree with them., u can't overpower the sun with that little thing not even my Samsung Galaxy s9plus does that nor my pro dslr Canon 6d's screen does it in direct light on a very sunny day, i have to use my hand for a bit, i gonna check that when the time comes hope I remember but so far I love the long range for hot/cold days
Thanks for your time & all your useful information.

Hi dear friend
I wonder, how to make it possible using OEM remote button also starting the car by 3X pushings( when compustar installed already).
i have no idea., i don't think is possible, but i could be wrong , please let us know if you achieve that in the future

Can the t11 tell you the temperature in the car
Yes. Push the start button once. Twice tells you battery status. Press the start button and hold for 3 seconds to remote start.
