The black part of the fuel pump housing has another fine strainer in top of housing near FPR, remove FPR and back flush with carb cleaner and clean fuel and air gun ,they will restrict fuel flow .
Hey thank you for the info.I didn’t knew that when i cleaned it,but in another video my mechanic opened the pump also and put a new filter and cleaned all the parts.🙂
I have an 03 gsxr1000 and it wouldn't Rev past like 9k... it ended up being just what ur talking about the filter that's actually inside the housing.. I seen videos of other people drilling em out where the output of the pump goes into the pump assembly but I just blew it backwards with compressed air with the pump off filled some gas repeat and it ran perfect after!

I was planning on doing this and never realised it's inside the tank. My last bikes was outside the tank and nice and easy to do. Oh well, doesn't look a massively difficult job, just annoying.
Thanksssss !!!🥰🥰
Your welcome.
Great job my friend - love the way you just got stuck in to the job and got it sorted - thank you for sharing!

@@pugant thank you and i hope it helps🙂There is also one filter inside the case.I forgot to film that.
I have a k2 finally got the starter clutch repaired and now it cuts out at higher rpms . Thanks for the video I’m going to do the same prosses.
I hope you get the problem solved and thank you.🙂
@70sport37

Good job
Thank you.
I came across this with pure luck.... thank you so much just listen n follow..
Thank you for the good words and i am happy to help.
Great job! probably have to do this on my one at some point
Probably yes.Because bikes have metal tank and when you dont keep it full most of the times then condensate will come inside and then rust.
You are the man! Thanks!!!!!
Thank you🙂
the filter is in that black plastic thing. what you cleaned was just a pre filter
At least that helped.Later in the other video i found out the other filter location and cleaned that also.
Is there way to clean it I was gonna delete both filters and run an inline cause I’m tired of taking the pump out to clean it
How can I test mine ,it was not priming in the bike .IV took it out and it's like new cheers
Check the wires. Is the voltage correct what should come to the pump🙂
Nice work brother
Thank you 🙂

Yes sometimes people put extra filter outside, but main is still inside the tank. It’s not hard, but yes annoying.
nice1 cheers from U.K.
Thank you🙂
Excellent job !
Thank you🙂
gotta clean that back tire haha
Bike was quite dirty at that time.I washed her after that.
Good work
Thank you.🙂
just for the record ... half of that large black plastic part oh the pump is also a filter. it is also rather expensive to replace.
Thank you for the info.I didn’t know that.
It's the high pressure filter..the black plastic part
@THREE AMIGOS it's actually the filter, the other tea bag is a strainer which sucks before the pump and the filter is after the pump
Found that out today. Changed pumps and tea bag filter many times. It was the (other) filter that was blocked and causing the problems.
I have clean it yesterday. now it doesn't turn on anymore.
If you put it together like you took it apart then everything should work.
@@TheMeisner87 i have found the problem.
@@ErikSiedler what was the problem?
How many kilometres should be clean
There isn’t a km said in the manual. My mechanic said that usually it’s good to check after 2 or 3 years.
Guys note that there is a fuel filter inside that needs to be replaced if the bike doesn’t force good!
I found out that later in my other video, but thank you for commenting.
just done a flow test on my k1 getting around 100mls in 5seconds think i might of found my problem.)
What was the problem?Pump?
@@TheMeisner87 yes m8.
Thats good to hear.In the beginning we thought my bike had the same problem, but luckly it was just a gloged injector.🙂
Hope you know that there is 2 filters in there not just that one small one.
On the pump there should be only one.Is there another one?
@@TheMeisner87 inside the white case. Pop it out from top.
@@rockitalee9997 that part my friend checked in the latest video.
Bike runs on 3 cylinders, problem still not solved
When see my other videos then you know the problem was with the second cylinder injector.🙂
I have the same bike.
U have a bad spark or a bad injector. Stop riding it u are doing damage to it
I finally found the problem. It was the second injector.I replaced it and now everything is working.
