Fell in love with this immidiately. Everything just feels so thought after, and well executed. Beautiful, yet highly functional! The sheath is also a perfection. Thanx for watching Tim!🌲🔪🌲
Thats a really nice piece of curly birch. And a fantastic sheath - shape and engraving are very tasteful. Just when I think the channel can't get any better, You keep finding these high quality knives. Nice that the makers have a family connection. Thanks for posting.
Haha, thanx for the compliment! This one is just next level Puukko perfection for me. It was to be expected as their extremely high level of Puukko making is well known. With their Perinnepuukko (traditional Puukot). Art works really. Thanx for watching, have a great day!🌲🔪🌲
What a gorgeous piece. One of those times you can see the form does not compromise the function at all. The lines, the colors, the materials: perfection.
It truly is perfectionistic Puukko! Every goddam detail is so well thought after. And like you said, the beauty does not compromise the funcionality at all! Thanx for watching, have great day my friend!🌲🔪🌲❄️🌲
Beautiful knife! I love the blade shape; I've always been drawn to drop points, and that looks perfect. The handle and brass fittings are excellent, and the sheath is amazing. Thanks for sharing this knife and your family connection with the maker. Cheers!
Yeah, this really is as close as you can get to Puukko perfection! And the sheath, I can't state it enough, is just pure stunner. Not many of such quality have I ever seen! Thanx for watching, have an awesome day my friend!🌲🔪🌲
Getting that nice "click" after I finished making one of my sheaths was such a cool feeling. That is one beautiful design, I like puuko sheaths cause they give you options. They are lightweight, narrow, and slim but also reliable. When they are properly made you definitely know your knife is safe. It's basically a kydex fit way before the invention of plastics. 🙂
Yeah, lol a proto kydex sheath, very true! Nice, you did your own, I can imagine the pleasure of hearing that click: you did it, you succeeded with the sheath! At best the retention is unbeatable with puukkos. And like you said the nimbelness, lightness etc. are awesome with them. You dont notice them too much on the belt, and you dont need to worry all the time of dropping them.. Thanx for watching, have a great day!🌲🔪🌲
What a BEAUTY! So so IMPRESSIVE! Love the steel! You do not find such quality anywhere but with the Puukko Masters! Thank you for sharing and the demonstration of the quality attributes to look for in a Puukko! The personal connection makes it even more special! The only thing I say when I see that sheath is Awwwwwwwwwwww! It leaves me in Awww! Ha! Beautiful! 👍 You know, I don't know how old that knife is, but the hard part on older knives is finding the leather sheath that has been properly cared for and treated with leather conditioner periodically, so it does not dry out and crack. That one is in supurb condition, very well cared for. Thanks again for sharing! Such a beautiful knife!
It is a stunner for sure!! The whole packace is just masterful. And the sheath, Im not excaggerating, is maybe the best I've ever come across. It puts many sheaths, from great knife makers to shame, lol. Thanx for watching, have an awesome weekend!!🌲🔪🌲❄️🌲
Such an awesome knife and story! It just demonstrates what us knife guys really like about our knives - they tell a story! And that knife has an awesome back story. I'm so happy for you that you have that! If a puukko could talk.... Whats stories we would hear! Your family sounds like an awesome family. Very talented family, it sounds like. 👍🏻
That is so true!! Knives are not only tools for us. They connect in so many levels, and have stories to tell. This is something I've always felt. They become companions. Like this one, it went straight of being most my most special Puukko. Actually considering getting another one just incase I lose one, lol. Thanx for watching, have an awesome day my friend!🌲🔪🌲❄️🌲
A reminder to myself: buy a knife from this puukkoseppä at some point in life. 😁 A really nice puukko... And the level of craftmanship that goes into one is impressing 👍
Haha, yeah, well can wholeheartedly recommend😄. I've owned many many puukkos in my life, and this is just for me is the most perfect one. Flawless. And also, the crafmanship and design of the sheath is on a next level. Tyanx for watching ny friend, have a great day!
love a high grind makes the knife slicey more. well rounded sometimes the traditional grind is good for wood but I love Tommy pukko this one almost sader grind excellent well rounded wish list is growing growing
Yeah, its funny many Finnish Puukkos use to be really high scandis, and some times almost even flat grinds (Orijärvi Puukko). Low scandis are more of a modern thing.. This one of the sliciest puukkos I own. Thanx for watching, have an awesome day!🌲🔪🌲
What a beautiful knife, as a huge fan of puukkos I had to order one, and I did. I dont know if I need to thank you or curse you haha 😂. Btw what is the length of the blade in the video? Mine will come with 10cm. Cheers man, love your videos.
"I dont know if I need to thank you or curse you" I get that a lot..hahaha😂 I'll let you know the lenght when im back home. Im visting another side of Finland. The excact place that I mention in this video actually. (Punkaharju, near Liukko forge. Unfortunately dont have time to visit them. But definitely later in the year) Thanx for watching, have a great day!🌲🔪🌲
I like my Bark Rivers, LT Wrights, Brisas etc. But at the end full tangs are pretty much overrated. When one really uses knives one knows. I've used f.e. so e Martiinis for 30 yrs, batoned, abused and they have held with out any problems. And what you get is great balance, comfort, much better in hars cold environments, then of course ergonomics..
Wow, just wow. Awesome blade shape and grind and so God damn pretty. What a knife.
Fell in love with this immidiately. Everything just feels so thought after, and well executed. Beautiful, yet highly functional! The sheath is also a perfection. Thanx for watching Tim!🌲🔪🌲

@@zdenekbart and dont get me wrong I do also like many many full tang knives. Just making an update video of Bark River Bravo. A great blade!
