The Rams rebrand looks like a public transportation aesthetic. The font, logo and color scheme belongs on a commuter rail train.

I like the current Rams unis, it fits well for the new generation of LA Rams football.
The Bucs alarm clock jerseys were the absolute worst.
That name they put on the Rams jersey looks like a placeholder for when the NFL starts jersey sponsors
With all the alternates, throwbacks, etc., it's hard to tell what combo is the team's actual uniform design.

I'm glad to hear that the Lions are switching unis in a year or two. I dislike their current set, especially those dishwater-gray unis. As with the Browns, I really dig their 1960s look.
as a browns fan, ik our unis and logo are hated by most of the league, but theyre iconic in the city of cleveland. there would be riots if we changed em lol
I agree with you on the Jets jersey rebrand. I hate it. Doesn't fit with the team. And I am not even a Jets fan.
And the reborn retro from 1998 are some of the best looking. They should have just added their 80s/90s version as a third jersey and kept it at that.

The home Arizona Cardinals uniforms look like pj's, I hate their new uniforms in general, but their home uniforms take the cake as the hottest garbage
My beloved Rams at least learned their lesson regarding the bone uniforms as they are regulated to alternate and are being phased out (no more bone tops but the bottoms are still around) . Their uniforms aren't bad at all. The whites are now iconic as they won the Super Bowl in them (at home no less) and their royal over yellow is bright and vibrant.
I like the old Rams (1970s-1999) uniforms. It looks like that, so it they have good uniforms
Winning a superbowl doesn’t make a uniform iconic, every away jersey is the NFL is super clean

@@night_wolf6621 When the Rams won the Super Bowl, the white uniforms were alternates. They were upgraded to road jersey the following season.
The Jets NEED to bring back the white helmets! The Browns need to go back too. The Rams may be the worst. Change them!
Those white Jets helmets were UGLY! So glad they went back to the green ones.
I would tell you that I do not agree with your list...but I cannot. I completely agree with you! I am surprised you were able to keep the list to only Five (5).
I think one uniform redesign you show thrown it is the current flacons uniforms as they look garbage in my opinion. I love the old uniforms even though that was related to 28-3, they looked epic unlike what my Bucs wore during that time (god I hate those jerseys).

I hated the Jaguars' multicolored helmets. The lack of a glossy finish and the gradient made it look like they were really old helmets that had been left outside bleaching in the sun for a few years.
I thought the Browns redesign was the worst uniform abomination ever. But it did make the old ones - which I guess are now the… new ones - look that much better. So maybe that was the intention all along lol
Ancient comment about Cleveland uniforms: "I don't know what a Brown is, but whatever it is, it isn't likely to be orange."

I don’t disagree with anything on your list. I only want to add that in general, uniform combinations that involve the same color pants and jerseys really look bad to me.
While black uniforms can be overplayed I think for the Jets it makes sense since they’ve had the nickname “Gotham” associated with them. Though still not a fan of them. Hopefully the throwbacks they introduced this year might eventually replace them.
Jacksonville Jaguars - I was horrified when they changed their helmets for a few reasons:
1) I had purchased the Jags original Mini Riddell helmet only a few years before.
2) the gold on the back of the helmets just looked bad
3). The black matte front door only added insult to life injury.
Yes, the Rams uniforms are a bad move as well.
The rams white is the color of the old white t shirt you drag out to do yard work in. It USED to be a clean white but now it’s faded even if you washed it 100 times In a row
It's considered 'retro' because the laundry detergent wasn't that good back in the day so the jerseys never really got clean.

I rather like the Jets' green helmets, though my only complaint about them is that, at a glance, I frequently mistake them for the Eagles until I look a little closer.
The Jets helmets used to look like that back in the 80's or early 90's if I'm not mistaken.

Think you nailed #1 here my friend. FWIW, If the RAMS were to update the font used for the numbers on the jersey to COMIC SANS, it would be a marked improvement over what is currently there. I don't ever toss around the comic sans argument all willy nilly to denigrate bad design decisions either - but this was definitely appropos.

The titans new ones need to be on here, they are awful compared to the 1st gen. Hate it all from the helmet, to the silver shoulders on the jerseys. That uniform change was the last straw for me and I completely dropped them as my team.
The Rams name tag looks like Company Letterhead. But the Gold St. Louis Rams from 2001 to 2015 were awful.

i like the jets green helmets. the browns should add led lighting to their helmet and put the brown elf on the helmet so they can light it up. the stupidest helmet is the steelers with a logo only on one side.
Love the Jets green helmets also. Like the Rams with the 1980 yellow horns (hated the white horns). Other than those, I pretty much agree with this list.

I despise the trend towards silly uniform numbers, but I think the Vikings' numbers are worse than the old Bucs' (with the Seahawks taking third-worst).

The white horn Rams helmets looked horrible! Especially since they kept the yellow in the rest of the uniform. It didn't match, it looked like the helmets were from a totally different uniform than the jerseys and pants..
Love the jets new look, green helmets and black 3rd. I think any list about the “worst” something in the NFL people always find a reason to add the Jets.

I like the Jets green helmet. Always peferred it over the white one. Those were terrible Browns uniforms especially the all brown one. I don't mind Tampa's current uniforms. I just really loved the old orange Creamsicle ones.

Thank you for saying what I had been trying to suppress: the Browns uniforms are garbage. They look like a child's pyjamas. The classic Browns uniform were not just iconic but clean and simple. But there always seems to be some 8-year-old who just HAS to "mix it up" for the sake of mixing it up. And it's pretty disrespectful to the fans who buy and wear team merch only to have some lame douche in marketing change the team look because they're trying to justify their job. But then, the NFL is a big waste of time now anyway, so go wild fashion designers.

I'm a Rams fan, and I agree 100%!!! The current Rams uniforms look like complete 💩!!! They should have either gone with the Navy and Gold, or their traditional Royal Blue and Yellow. I can hardly wait till they trash these stupid uniforms!!!
I hate the Titans uniforms! The blue helmets make it hard to see the logo. The dumb two-tone great sword shoulder yokes. The half assed jersey side panels and pants stripes. The navy numbers on the powder blue jerseys make it look like an alternate uniform and last but certainly not least the number font made to look like Greek letters with the stupid points on the upper right mimicking the shape of Tennessee. The 1’s look backwards, 2’s look like Z’s, 8’s look like an hourglass. Ugh! Garbage!!!

The original was Blue and white they went gold when they moved to St Louis.
The RAVENS have the sharpest looking uniforms...IMOP.

I know it’s probably out of the timeframe you have, but the uniform redesigns the Broncos did on the 90’s was horrible and still is. Yes, they finally won Super Bowls with them, but their old uniforms at much better. Heck, even their old yellow and brown unis are better.

I do like the Rams new helmets for 2 reasons. 1, the white one was just boring to me and 2. the horn with the line in it gives it a three dimensional look and feel. The rest of the uniform is dreck though I agree.
3) the blue on the helmet matches the blue on the jersey. Royal helmet >>>> navy (in our throwbacks the helmets are navy blue for some reason)

A lot of the Nike redesigns are awful!!! The rams, jets, falcons, cardinals, patriots, and jaguars unis all look horrible. All of their previous uniforms were all just fine imo.

The Jags 2013-2017 uniforms were my favorite in the league, and you are correct Shad Kahn wanted a flashier look. Sadly Tom Coughlin hated them, and him being Tom Coughlin, wanted the most boring uniforms possible. So they changed them and now they have some of the most forgettable uniforms in the league.
I also liked the Jags uniforms. It made them look unique....
It was the helmets. Those helmets were about the ugliest I’ve ever seen.
Those two tone helmets were trash. They looked like an arena football team.

Thumbs mostly down. With some admissions. You were correct on the Jacksonville Jaguars uniforms you selected to talk about. Honestly their uniforms now don't look any better. You were right on the Cleveland Browns uniforms, that wasn't a good look for them either. You were also right partly on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniforms you selected. I actually liked the digital number pattern. The rest of the uniforms were "hot garbage." Now here's where you went wrong and got your "thumbs down." Don't ever mess with the Los Angeles Rams "Royal Blue and Gold." White rams horn decals "my @$$." Those uniforms were great before 1973 when the LA Rams introduced the Royal Blues and Gold. Now the "Bone White" uniforms were a disgrace. Especially the explanation given by the Rams marketing team. The New York Jets you are wrong partly too. I have no problem with the 'Gangreen' helmets. Even though I preferred the white helmets with the stripe in the center.
