    How To Release Old Trauma or Stored Survival Stress
    The challenge of releasing old trauma or stored survival stress that can linger in the body even after overcoming the situation.
    Trauma is stored in the lower parts of the brain where fight-or-flight responses are triggered, and traumatic memory is not time-stamped by the hippocampus, making it difficult to reason our way out of it.
    Methods that avoid confronting trauma, such as avoidance patterns or distractions, may not effectively release the stored stress and trauma.
    Understanding the physical symptoms of trauma, such as chronic high blood pressure or gut disturbances, can help identify when the body is still responding to fight-or-flight triggers.
