- Here are the basics - what is a spore, what is a spore swap and spore syringe? What’s the difference between those and a liquid culture? What do you do with the liquid culture?

The only dude that actually explains the whole process theory. Literally, the only damn dude.
This is by far the best video I've seen on this topic, man getting into mycology is mad crazy
Great explanation, best videos on mushrooms culture
I love the video, however I reccomend doing a voice over or something because background noise is ridiculous
Thank you man, very helpful! Love the name of your business... humility, the most respectable quality!!! Good on you
Thank you kindly. You laid out everything I was searching for
Nice job! Thank you!
Great video with lots of valuable info. Thank man I appreciate it :)
I appreciate this so much!
Great explainer thanks !!
You have literally just told me more information in this short video about spore syringes than weeks of research, forums, other UA-cam videos. 1 question though how long do wait to see mycelium growth on agar.
anywhere between a week and a month my friend
Thank you! You explained a difficult concept into one I could understand!!!
I'm a beginner (the last year or so) and I found this so charming and helpful. Thank you!! Love your bottles of live mushrooms potions 🌈
This is exactly the explanation I was looking for, the difference in a spore syringe and culture syringe. Mainly just needed to know which one is the type you inject directly onto the grain. Thank youuuuuu! 💚🍄
very informative.
Great video man👍🏾
Dude, i love your videos. I also have ADHD and your manner of explaining things just clicks for me. It feels like I'm watching myself as I have very similar quirks. Anyway, thanks a lot for all your help. Thanks to the information in your videos I am on my way to failing less epicly. Also, to anyone reading this, if you're making a still air box, don't put the holes too close together because its like trying to work with handcuffs on, i did that, its a pain in the wrists... Also push the syringe caps off from the back, dont pull them off because what ends up happening is you pull it off then your hand jerks back towards the needle and you jab yourself in the finger and spend the rest of the day googling whether you're about to turn into uncle shroom or not. Yes, that happened to me on the first syringe i opened, and no you dont get cool powers, nor do you grow mushrooms out your ass
The cadence of your voice occasionally sounds like Louis CK during his stand-up. Love it :)
He also reminds me a little of Jack Black
I appreciate you sharing your knowledge a lot. I’ve used ms a few times and I’m wondering how many ccs you would squirt onto your agar ? Then should I just use that agar plate to colonize a grain master? Or would it be more effective to just ms to fruit then clone that fruit to agar?
Mahalo!!!
Great video bro!! I live in Denver
Hell yeah dude
I’ve never had issues with spores to grain or to LC
Great informative video mate but next time try to make the video in more quiet room
How long can the liquid culture with spores keep?
Of the liquid cultures you sell, which do you recommend as a starting point? I will be innoculating whole oat grain bags, letting them go to spawn and tem either fruit from bag or go to wood chips in buckets. Thoughts? I was thinking osyers or lion's mane? I want slam dunks as I'm starting out. Will not be in fruiting chamber.
I appreciate all the great information! So you do not recommend spore syringe to liquid culture? So couple drops from spore syringe to agar plate to get it going? Then disperse correct? I'm learning
Correct!
So at 9:32 you talk about how mycelium is alive and can be killed by boiling/freezing... So does that mean that spores can survive boiling?
I'm curious what is in the spray bottle that you sprayed your hands with?
70% isopropyl alcohol
Do you make your own agar plates or do you outsource them? And if you do, what do you recommend?
I'd appreciate your comment
I bought some spore prints and growing kits from an online store and they are affordable and discreetly delivered

Thanks for helping me become a mad doctor 🙂
My biggest question is why does anything need to be sterilized if the spores are so resilient and its’ viable substrate so variant? Isn’t that natural selection, to find a strain with spores competitive and resistant enough to the pressures from its environment to where it would outcompete naturally any bacteria? They don’t get this much help in the wild
Because mold spores are trapped inside of houses and on everything. Outside has fresh air and wind. There are also microbes or something outside that eat mold spores.
Can i inject dead spores straight into honey water...will it grow..?
Are you guys still around? I placed an order with you and got nothing so far. I emailed you with no response and called on Tuesday and Wed. and no one answered the phone. I guess I can always cancel my CC.
