As someone who has 100% in Rdr 2 I can assure you that „it’s Art“ isn’t even close to beeing as hard as the hunting missions

Online trophies in Single Player games are SO annoying.
Especially in Far Cry games. I got all the other throphies, but these online throphies. Really annoying

Assassins Creed Syndicates without a grudge trophy.
This was supposed to be “destroy 500 items with your carriage”, the Devs accidentally got it wrong and changed it to 5,000 items, and refused to correct it.
Wasn’t difficult but 6 hours + of boring street lamp smashing, is time I will never get back.
I had done this because when I start a game I always look at the trophies. So when I saw it I just played the game nomrally BUT when I wanted to go somwhere instead of fast traveling I was just picking up a carriage and went there smashing everything.
So not hard but tedious.
I remember that. Just drove for hours listening to pocasts in a large enough loop that props respawn, last trophy I needed for Syndicate
If you are trophy hunting then you should have know about it before you started. So instead of sitting there driving around to get it, you can doing it while doing the game normally. Instead of fast travel everywhere, just drive around and try to smash stuff while doing it. Even if you didn't get it once you finish the story you would get close to finish it already.

i am SO proud of having gotten the "Emperor" achievement in ESO, as it took so long to get it, but i am one of the only people in all of Norway to get that achievement!

I played that game a little, and this is just insane!
I beat the 2009 Ghostbusters “Are you a god?” trophy (beat the game on highest difficulty). I felt pretty good about myself after all that.
I had to beat horizon zero dawn on the hardest difficulty and I could not go anywhere without aggroing every single machine in the world and everything was way harder and could one-shot you I'll never forget having to fight deathbringers on that difficulty

I defeated street fighter x tekken with hworang and heihachi on hardest with a keyboard(I am not joking, I did it and I also have a video clip of it)man that feeling is extremely satisfying....
Well when you understand horizon zero dawn, it i will say not easy but not hard to complete it in the highest difficulty. You just have to make a strategy, a strategy of farming scrappers or riders for solid 10 hours or more get to level 25 at least and then make the missions that allowed you to get the best armor and weapons and with that done, all you got to do is spam the evade button and attach when you are safe. I say it takes to much time, that actually the diffucult thing.
PD theres many more strategies like overiding machines making them fight each other while you give the last shot. Or finding a op spot and spam fire and normal arrors. Many more.

Mein Leben. My greatest trophy. Weeks of practice, 2 separate screens (1 to practice on and 1 for the actual attempt) then 12 hours later and boom! Never again! Screw Wolfenstein!

I have the platinum for Friday the 13th. Out of all my 154 platinums I have, Friday is still my rarest platinum 🏆 I did boost some of my matches with friends in a private match but I'm sure I've spent hours in that game. I still play it every Friday night with friends. 🙂

I have the Elder Scrolls Emperor achievement on xbox. Took me longer to farm and craft the pvp gear. Did it during the early times when loads played it. Khajiit Stam Sorc dominated back then. Daggerfall FTW.

Not having the 100% is more of an OCD, or even lack of funds for DLC, kinda thing.
Yeah, I got the plat and skipped the last Hearthfire trophy on Skyrim because it was tedious. Still at 99%.
Now FFXV - I had that one at 100% for all of a hot minute. Now it's like 58%. If I cared about this stuff I'd have probably lost my shit.

I got the platinum for super meat boy. That was my crowning achievement. That said, I waisted a long time learning levels. Its one of those things thats plenty doable, but you gotta practice like every day

I have the Elder Scrolls Online Emperor! achievement. took about 2 weeks of hard-core game play. at the time I wasn't that good but I was dedicated and had an entire guild of 10+ helping me out. gotta be #1 on the leader board and what they don't say is you also have to take the 6 inner keeps that other players and alliances are defending, along with adds and the occasional lag you gotta deal with
Any game that requires you to complete the game on every single difficulty, or basically anything co-op pretty much ensures that I won't even try
You can usually get all the difficulty trophies by playing and finishing the game on the hardest one.
The only exceptions i know are the Prince of persia remastered trilogy and the remastered Kingdom hearts game. Those require you to finish the game once on each difficulty

yeeeaaa I'm playing gundam SD gen and one of the achievements is to complete all the levels on every difficulty even if you just beat it on the hardest on the first try like wtf????? Who is even going to do that shit? There are 3 difficulties per level and I'm 40-50 play hours in and only 60% complete with all the story missions. Fuck that lmao!
@Damian Howard most games that dont have a difficulty trophy, are ridiculously easy. Look at most of the ps exclusives, they are so easy there is no challenge and fun to them. But the last of us on the other hand, now that was a rewarding platinum.
Every game should have a trophy for requiring you to beat the game on the hardest difficulty so that these platinums actually mean something.

The hardest trophies for me was beating all of the uncharted games on the nathan drake collection on brutal mode. I have never raged so much in a game since the lakeside resort in the last of us on grounded mode.
The “It’s art” trophy is really easy. Just takes a time to get. Now the “Gold rush” trophy in RDR2 is hell lol

there was a game called Lost Odyssey on Xbox360. One achievement was to collect all items in the game (100%). It was an RPG game with thousands of items scattered across the world. The achievement was called treasure trove and was pretty much the last time I ever tried to 100% a game.
yakuza 0 is way harder bro, after doing all this time consumption trophies you end up with trophies that rely on luck, I tried getting those luck trophies for days which is basically buying random weapons and I was never been able to achieve all the weapons

The Fallout 4 100% Happiness Trophy prevented me from getting platinum. One day all the steel in my workshop mysteriously disappeared and I quit.
There is a way to get this @ the first gas station you come across where you find the dog....got it on xbox might be different on playstation it's like a glitch/bug whatever.

That one nearly drove me mad too but I got it, good times, good times. But the game in my opinion is excellent, very underrated. Sure it's got a ton of problems, but the exploration in that game and learning everything in that world was a great experience. Definitely not casual friendly if you want the full experience.

Let's not forget that the 'Impossible, right?' trophy in Crypt of the Necrodancer requires you to beat the entire game in one sitting with a character where game speed is doubled, you die on a missed beat and from any amount of damage, and you die from picking up gold...
I have all the achievements on Crypt of the Necrodancer except for 'Impossible, right?' and 'Lowest of the Low'. I have Coda unlocked BTW
Though he'd mention "personal decorator" trophy in black ops 3 witch need you to spend 80 hours in the campaign + you have to complete the campaign on the second hardest difficulty without dying
That freaking Jump Rope trophy, omfg that was insanely difficult. Literally took me over a month, & I didn't even end up platting the game. My World At War Platinum is one of my favourite trophies & it wasn't too easy.
I remember when Far Cry 4 first came out, I managed to build up just over 680 hours of play time within 3 months. I think I played the Campaign start-to-finish about 12 or 13 times. No real reason, I just love the game.

Another trophy in the FF series I found hard was dodging the lightning 200 times in the thunder plains in FF X
It used to be that beating Hardcore Mode in Dead Space 2 was noteworthy. Although it pales in comparison to the insanity found in this video, I’d argue that it’s also a very fun trophy to get. It’s a good mix of difficulty (second highest for enemies) and challenge (hardest difficulty for resource drops), and 3 total saves over 5-7 hours. And it comes with one of the most epic rewards in gaming: The Foam Finger. “Bang, bang. Pew, pew!”
The Crash's time trial in the level with the bridge in the sky was absolutely insane. It took me days, I've tried it sooo many times for all day long

The Outlast achievement "LUNATIC", in which you need to beat the game on the hardest difficulty, while only having 2 slots for batteries. In fact, on the Xbox One, there are 2 achievements that might be harder than LUNATIC. Energizer, complete the game on Insane Mode without reloading your battery, and Claustrophobe, Complete the game without hiding in a bed or locker. Energizer is the hardest achievement in the game.
Uncharted 4: "It..." Completed all survival on Crushing settings is most hardest one! (With 5 stars)

Dumb devs only do shit like this to keep you playing their game and keeping it relevant. Is why I stopped buying Naughty Dog games.
I have a guide for it on UA-cam; it's also a part of the Survival Guide on PSN Profiles. Check the glitch section. I wrote an exploit guide for Survival and provided videos as well; making things pretty easy with a little practice. I have the Trophy and Platinum with 100% completion.
Mass Effect trilogy's “Insanity(Finish the game on Insanity without changing difficulty after leaving Earth)" is my favorite
Its not easy , Its not ridiculously hard , Its the perfect amount of effort to get the achievement
I actually got 100% on the whole trilogy after it came out, and wish I just didn’t do the insanity stuff. No platinum for it. There were a few missions that I had to cheese to beat. 2 was definitely the hardest one on insanity.
I'm happy I have at least one in the list lol. FF9 jump rope. My rarest platinum though is Path of Exile.

Deadspace 2 Complete the game on hardest difficulty with only 3 saves dying takes you back to your last save was a tough one.
Honestly, the last few chapters had my heart racing lmao. Never knew when to save my game, didn't want to save too early and make getting to the final boss a chore

I remember getting to chapter 5, without saving, and the gravity tether puzzle had broken. Couldn't leave the room, couldn't reset, just stuck. (The one where you turn off gravity, stasis the fan above you, then fly through the door in the ceiling)
I swear whoever came up with those pvp trophies needs to get slapped in the face.

Think stranded deep may have been one of the most frustrating for me, especially the two of each and gota craft them all trophies
Would just like to say that relics weren't a thing in the original crash 1 & 2 so they were added in the remaster and the times were significantly more strict than the he original warped relics which is why warped's relic seem so much easier. As someone who got gold in all of them I can verify that many if the time trials were complete BS and required such perfect timing that certain levels actually required exploits to get gold.

I can attest to the difficulty of DMC5 trophies. I just got the Hell and Hell gold trophy and that was a tough thing to accomplish. I need to get in the lab and practice more combos in the air to get S rank, and get that platinum one day. As a avid DMC fan, that is a life long goal of mine.
You need to evaluate your life if a life goal is to get a trophy for a game 😂

Why not have a goal that's actually productive and will benefit you in real life? I love video games more than most and play at least 2hrs every day but grinding for trophies is pointless imo. Why not have a goal like saving $50k for retirement or something that's actually tangible and will provide a real life benefit? I just don't understand why anyone would spend so much time grinding for a digital trophy that doesn't matter to anyone but you

I remember playing on Steam the game "Shellshock", or something like that, with 2d tanks, that one thropy was about winning a match agains the creator of the game, and then you would unlock a special weapon… Surprisinlgy I once played with someone who had that weapon, crazy.
The achivment is updated now so u only have to win against a lv 100 with that wep

On my ps1 memory card I still have my save where I got the jump rope king key item. I saw that trophy on the new game and it was what literally stopped me from getting it on ps4. Never again.

The Batman games have a trophy called “perfect freeflow” where you have to literally use all of Batman’s moves in one combo. In the first game it wasn’t that difficult because he didn’t have that many moves but in the second it was super tedious. Don’t get me started on the riddlers revenge challenges, once again not all of them are that difficult but just tedious to complete them all. This is just my opinion but I’ve talked to other people that have played the games and have similar opinions.
That wasn't the gard one. The hardest one by far was in arkham city with the joker arena thing

I got the perfect freeflow on my first try so it shouldnt be that hard (just pause to think in between hits). Mentioning this trophy in a video that has permadeath trophies and stuff is really lowering the bar lol. Try Mein leben in wolfenstein 2. Thats hard!!

The riddlers revenge challenges and trophies are definitely tedious things to get in that game, although agreed there are much harder trophies to get in other games this was just one that popped in my head while watching!
I already earned a platinum in Batman Arkham Knight.. I don’t think I had a problem with that.. but the most frustrating part in the game was roaming around the city and collecting information about the riddler to reveal riddler secrets..
Yeah, that is where the fun in gaming ends, and aggravated frustration begins.
Hell and Hell is actually a step down from DMD so if you can S rank missions in DMD Hell and Hell is comparatively easy. The only annoying thing is the occassional mistake means restarting.
Blitz mode on UFC 4 is my latest hard to get annoying trophy, wanted to get it quick because its an online mode and players are already giving up.
You’re half right with the My Emperor achievement. You have to be top PvPer in the region that got controlled by your faction. Not the Top PvPer in the world.
I mean they basically just did surface level research on this video.

It's not too difficult to get players in that games community to "gift" the trophy to someone who asks for the sake of getting the Platinum.
Played the game for years and our Emperor would get messaged all the time from lower levels asking to allow the crown to touch their heads for just a second.

You should look more into the Elder Scrolls emperor trophy as it wasn’t quite accurate. You have to be the top player in your faction (there are 3 factions) plus your faction must control all keeps (capturable castles) around the Imperial City (middle of the pvp map) for you to be deemed the emperor. It is also important to note there are multiple campaigns you can choose so there is actually an incredible chance of getting this achievement with the help of a good guild. I personally have gotten Emperor 3 separate times and know an insane amount of people who have it. Its not a hard achievement it is just one that requires timing and a good group of people to run with. Emperors change very often in a campaign which lasts roughly 30 days. I once played in a Campaign that had an emperor switch around 12 different times.
Monster hunter world. The trophies where you have to hunt both the smallest and largest size possible of most monsters in the game. The size of the monster is randomly determined and there are only a few select monsters that you can get a quest that guarantees both sizes. It can take an insane amount of time and luck to get those trophies
The “becomes the master” trophy on titanfall 2 still eludes me to this day. Like I know, it’s just a timed thing but I just can’t manage to beat it. Yet.

To get the ESO Emperor trophy, you just gotta have the top score for your faction, in your campaign, when certain conditions are met and there's usually at least 4 active campaigns. So, there's usually anywhere from 0-4 Emperors for any given megaserver.

All three Crash remastered platinum’s were the hardest and most infuriating platinums I’ve ever got, took me two years on and off to finish them and finally deleted it last week 😭
