Sean, you and Craig did a great deed by doing this. I really like the fact those guys were looking for that model, and you delivered. Good for you both.
Was laughing my ass off when he said expectations were high, then put up some dude hanging off the handle bars like he was hanging off a cliff 🤣 Hope your all staying safe over there. Blessings from Belfast lads
The quality of your videos has only ever gotten better. I feel like I'm watching something on TV. but better than anything tv does cause there's no bullshit, no commercials, no fakeness.. never change you guys
Wonderful thing you guys have done. I'm a COPD patient and had to sell my bike due to hospital expenses. I love what you both do and it helps me stay positive when some days are tough. Keep it up and God bless. ✌
Finally! A new "buying the cheapest bike at the auction video" nice to see Sean back to his old roots..... With that being said, For just a dollar a day you can help support Craig and help him overcome bullying in the workplace... Lmao 😂😂😂
A marauder video! Did something similar and bought a project marauder for cheap, was one of the biggest headaches ever but at least I know it's not just me that struggled with it. Took 3 months and now it's running great. Saw one of your old videos when you test rode another shop's bikes and you had a marauder, one of the reasons I got mine.
Love starting my day with your videos! As a new rider iv turned to your channels for guidance! Thanks for the videos and please keep them coming! And kregs the bomb!
Sean, I know this is an old video but man you folks do awesome work getting people on 2 wheels. Keep doing your thing and bringing smiles to peoples faces. You give me the confidence to get back out on the road too. Tackling a little project myself with a 1000 dollar bike budget.
I love Sean and Craig and Kaleb … They are awesome people … Thank you all for making me laugh , cry , get excited and bringing the love back about motorcycles again. … Much respect from Australia 💪👌
Sean, you and the crew really do have one of the best moto channels. No paid reviews. No crazy new unaffordable death machines. Well, sometimes. Just affordable bikes that need some love. The Bible quotes is a great touch that absolutely nobody else does. Keep up the awesome work!
I woke up today getting my 97 marauder out of the garage with a cup of coffee waiting for temperature to go up a bit here in canada. Then this video and i knew right away because i own one here we go again. I drive around with a spare pump, spare coil, Spark plugs a carbs a2007 kit in the bag. Its got the MMM by pass but i still have a NOCO jump starter with me at all time. At the time i bought that bike so i had something easier for around town then my Nomad. lol ''easier''
.......and free straps ! You guys rock. I used the Tank straps on my Road Kind and trailered all the way to Ft Lauderdale from York PA and back and didn't need to readjust once ! (Don't hate on trailering it. I had to bring the wife and two 1 year olds LoL )
Nice presentation. My uncle drove a Sherman in North Africa hurt his back in Palermo and transferred to a half track the rest of the war because the spring loaded seat was easier on his back. He didn't like sound of bullets hitting his vehicle. Have picture of him in his coveralls standing next to his vehicle somewhere. He said what ever you hear about Patton is true good or bad. Had a huge realistic respect for his CO. He drove jeeps in the US and England during training. Ran across my dad laying wire for the Air Corps in the Chocolate Hills. Picked him up in a jeep and they went to Mexico for a steak. My dad ended up in New Guinea 13th Air Corps, my uncle Morocco with Patton.
Fantastic Sean. I wished I lived Closer to you guys not that I want to Benefit from your great giveaways but to just get a Chance to Chill With you all and Discuss Bikes and the Good Times we have on them. Keep up this good Quality Entertainment as I never Miss a New Blog or Video. All the Best from the Minnesota Scotsman.
My first bike (that wasn't a scooter) was a 2000 Marauder 800. Carb-fueled, drum-braked, chain-driven simplicity! I learned a lot about riding and about modifying and maintaining motorcycles with that one, it was definitely a fun little bike. Loved those chubby tires, too.
Suzuki makes a solid motorcycle. They get those two running, those bikes will run forever! I know everybody says that about Honda, but Suzuki man...don't sleep on them!
Stepson has one of these bikes, and you are going to have a learning experience guy. All of them have carb issues, they work outstandingly WHEN they work. Removing the carbs is a learning experience. Next the fuel pump is a constant issue, me being a experienced fabricator fixed that issue with a generic pump and the problem went away for good. If you get the carbs out put a needle and seat kit in, set the floats by the book. Now setting the carbs is a experience that is approved by Markie Deshad, can be done but takes time. Then if you don't want to go crazy remove that ignition low voltage relay, it fails constantly. Lastly remove the tool box under the seat and put in a bigger battery the stock is marginal at the very best. We changed the gearing from Stupid Low to Stupid High, hey you gotta experiment don't you, well now it will run down the highway, second gear is somewhere around 65 in second without issues, now that is stupid high gearing.
I do own a Marauder (had it for a year or so) and so far it runs great and I love it but thanks for the heads up about potential carb and low voltage relay issues in the future. If the bike stops starting I know where to look for the problem first.
@@MaaZeus Actually I am not knocking this bike at all as it is a blast to ride, and Harley Guys absolutely hate it is a big plus. One of the guys has a Harley is the King of Everything, tried to take on my old BMW K75 several years back in a 1 mile drag race, needless to say he lost rather badly. He went back and put a stage 4 kit in it and it was better, but still was first looser in next edition still. He thought that he could with his HIGH Dollar Harley take that POS Marauder, well even with his stage 4 kit he didn't grasp that the Marauder was not quite stock and again became first looser. You can really wake them up with a good exhaust system, recalibrating the carbs to match the exhaust and less restrictive air boxes. But as you know from owning one simply the engine is shoehorned into the frame and accessing the carbs is a experience in pain and frustration. Adjusting the carbs is another FUN experience. Once you get the minor issues sorted out they are a blast. Stepson changed the short gearing over to VERY TALL highway gearing and it tamed it down quite a bit but it will highway cruise all day at OMG speeds without complaint.
@@thomasheer825 Oh, sorry I did not mean to imply you were. It is a great bike, nice power too although the stock 15 tooth sprocket is just dumb, soon will be changed to 16 or 17. As fun as it is to ride I was just acknowledging that this is indeed a very funkily designed bike with parts hard to come by. Case in point, just last saturday I was taking it out of winter storage and wanted to install new slash cut universal mufflers in it that I bought during winter. Didn't happen as Suzuki in their infinite wisdom did not want to keep mufflers as just mufflers that you can pull off and pop a different one in but instead make it integral parts of the headers with bends and all, pain in the ass to remove too. Being little pissed but still wanting meatier sound I took a hole saw and took the outer baffles out from the stock pipes. 😅 Thankfully it sounds awesome without being obnoxious but shame that I did not get the slash cut look I was hoping for. And at the end of the last driving season the tank developed a leak (rusted through, thanks ethanol fuel). I searched high and low for replacement tank but as you know this bike has a very wide double backbone frame with things sticking out top in the center. Even tanks meant for wide double frames will not fit. I did not feel like welding supports for a tank that would sit above it all (would probably look like abomination as well) I ended up soldering the holes, neutralizing the rust and using a tank sealer to prevent future rust (hopefully it sticks, sometimes they work great, other times fail). Anyway, great bike but if one wants to seriously start customizing this you have to be creative.
@@MaaZeus Have worked on several bikes with the rusty gas tank issue. Used the old rust removal technique of fill the tank with a water/washing soda sollution, about 2 oz of wash soda available cheap at Walmart in the cleaning isle, to a gallon of water. Fill the tank and use a battery, I usually use any battery laying around the shop and put the negative lead to the tank and drop in a sacrificial piece of steel as the anode into the tank insulated from the negative charged tank. I usually put a trickle charger on the battery to keep things going well. After a few days the inside of the tank is spotless and the annode is a fuzzy rusty thing, that means it did work well. Then if you have pin holes due to the rust removal you can use a gas tank sealant, as the tank is clean on the inside now and the stuff will stick well. Or you can do the old solder the leaks up, I like doing it that way just because I can. Have fun with that bike they are a blast.
