Craig definitely won, he actually turned his motorcycle in to a boatercycle (motorcycle powered boat) now being put into full scale production called the Yamaha Barge. All shawn did was hauling a well decorated motorcycle on some paddle boards XD. Good job on making a funny build up to an underwater recovery, better to get it out of the environment later than never! Doing some well needed service protecting our environment.
First thing I thought was combine the two ideas, Craigs power plant on Sean‘s flotation device(but with a good rudder), even double the boards and double the bikes onto one boat; really see if you can get that thing going!
Hands down the best UA-cam channel for bikes. These two make great content together and man is it funny. Always looking forward to upcoming videos. I love what what bikes and beards has become. The challenges are awesome and the friendships they have is genuine. Keep it up guys.
IKR!! Sean uses hand pump then discovers the included electric air pump. Meanwhile my OCD is goin' supernova cause his shop has a big air compressor!! 😅🤣💀🤪
One of my favourite things to watch as a kid was a show called scrap heap challenge which basically consisted of two opposing teams (of engineers) who are tasked with designing and creating some sort of crazy machine and then putting them to the test at the end. This video totally reminds me of that show. I think you should shoot a video where you have to create a functional bike when only supplied with a small 125cc engine, tools and a big open scrap yard.
I turn 70 on 22 of July and my past mother birth day is on the 25 of July and I've been wishing I had a bike ,hoping this is good luck to me. Beside that as the commercial says I'm on a fixed income and the way things are going I'll never get one. Love you guys show maybe I could ride it back home. live in Indiana LOL
I love the creativity yins are getting into. Showing the genuine funny side. And excellent chemistry. And I thought Shawn's idea would be absoulte trash, but he made a good raft.
@@gr8lampini Sort of. I live smack between Philly and Pittsburgh. But just a touch closer to Pittsburgh. So we root black and gold and talk a bit like the yinzers.
@@gr8lampini Oh my. You are a PA resident also? My wife is from Phoenixville (outside Philly) and she says wutter. Then yells at me when I say "ain't".
solid foam, metal pipe, epoxy paint to coat it once assembled, build pontoons center of mass and elevated so it can't flip and clamp the frame to the bike frame so the rear tire touches the water just under the hub, set up a double fin behind the wheel to direct the water flow for steering, also add an engine snorkel for the crankcase and intake to be safe and silicone your terminals
i watched you guys alot in the hospital when i was hit by a minivan while snowmobileing i broke half my body snapped the hardest bone to break in half and these guys just made my day night whatever time of the day
Craig didn't stood a chance I would suggest 4 leaf blowers I mean boaterbike engines for Sean masterpiece. Also I just noticed I'd been subscribed for 2 and a-half years.
i like shawn's floatation method better (although i would have gone with three to be safe), but i like craig's propulsion method way way better (in theory of operation; not sure what went wrong). if there was any wind at all, shawn's leaf blowers would have done nothing whatsoever.
I was (very) lucky enough to find and buy a super mint, zero rust, sparkling chrome 1988 Shadow VT700C barn find for $250. Redid the carbs, put in a new battery and the key and fired right up. A little over 5,000 miles when I got it 4 years ago and ride it all summer since. Yup, you can find good bikes for under $1,000 if you look and get lucky.
I think Sean nailed it; the paddle boards glide much easier over water and has no drag from a rudder to steer it. A little more mad sciencing and Craigs will work pretty good too.
Here in Winter Park, FL there’s a couple of old 80s Porsches at the bottom of a lake. There was a dealership that was swallowed by a sinkhole and the county filled it with water and only recovered a few of them.
All right I'm going to say it. I seen Craigs shirt, said to myself, " I have to have it". Go to the apparel shop and sure as s*** there is no shirt that says 'be a Craig' in there. The level of disappointment Sean. Risk tisk
I'm an Atheist, but ironically enough, that bible verse is pretty much how I live my life. I don't believe in an afterlife or anything like that, but it just seems like the right thing to do, ya know? Be good to each other.
Adapt a dyno speed tester to a drive shaft . The rear tire drives the dyno being strapped down to it and the front of the barge is steered by a disc on the floor with a rudder below strapped to the front tire allowin almost 90% left right turning
Really enjoy when there’s a challenge I still think you needed a big screen on your boatercycle To late now thanks for taking me a ride didn’t eve need a life jacket
Love you guys and the videos. My dad got me into bikes when I was young he had a 85Ninja 900 and honestly that's my dream bike lol. Got into a street glide into later years so also not mad at Harleys 😂
So fun to watch you guys. Very clever ideas to get the propulsion to the water without hurting the bikes. The Virago has a special place for me, and I love that Special. Fun without total destruction, cool!!!
I would love to have either of these bikes. I'm a veteran with PTSD and trying to get compensated, I can't afford a bike right now. But I hope to have one this time next year. Oh well, one more summer. Stay blessed guys.
My first Bikes and Beards video was the KPM 200 cheapest scrambler video. I didn't know you could buy motorcycles on Amazon. I've been wanting a motorcycle for 10+ years, but never had to money. Now I'm have MS and on disability (fixed income) and still no money for one. I would like to ride before/if the MS progress and I'm no longer able to. I've been watching a lot of the Bikes and Beards videos and trying to save up for a KPM 200 as my first motorcycle.
You guys come up with some funny stuff. The jabs on each other is even better. It’s like the movie dumber and dumb. You just never know who . Lol I love it . You would think you guys are brothers or twins
Crazy people are so entertaining. You guys are really, really entertaining. I know y'all put a lot of work into your content, but I hope you're having as much fun as it seems.
Honestly, if I were ever to buy a motorcycle, it would be one of those 1980s cruisers...A Virago, Intruder, Vulcan, Shadow, Magna, something like that...those bikes might be cheap, but I absolutely LOVE the styling.
Sean , love the videos. You guys are awesome. Question for ya... planning a trip to Gettysburg and wondered if we could come visit your shop or atleast drive by .
Watch them be the next best TopGear, (Motorcycle edition) Also i think that Shawn didnt use the motorcycle to its fullest, craig def won as he used the bike to its fullest.
Alway's fun to watch u guy's just having fun. Great job on the cycleboat or whatever u call them. Keep up the great video's and stay safe. God be with u all.
I love you guys as channel you 2 together are winning couple and with all the crazy things going on in the world today every time I see your challenge I'm up just gives me a place to go and forget about the world for a little bit and I love it thank you guys
They've essentially changed this channel inti Top Gear's cheap car challenge, but with bikes, and i love it!
Top gear literally did this where they turned their bikes into boats
@@Its_an_advocardo yep in the Vietnam episode
I just thought the same thing at the end when Craig was standing there with that awesome shirt. Rutledge Wood
@@karvast5726 thats one of my favorites
I dont mind it at all! Always loved and rewatched top gear's challenges anyway, why not watch a new series inspired by it??
Craig definitely won, he actually turned his motorcycle in to a boatercycle (motorcycle powered boat) now being put into full scale production called the Yamaha Barge.

Right. I wanted Craig to win he had the perfect set up.
First thing I thought was combine the two ideas, Craigs power plant on Sean‘s flotation device(but with a good rudder), even double the boards and double the bikes onto one boat; really see if you can get that thing going!
Yeah Shawn was DQed before they even started. He didn’t even need a bike.
Though if you're going to dump a motorcycle in a body of water, do it in a quarry.
the issue with the barge is it just has to much drag and unless they foam fill the bins there is a lot of potential to take on water. A hybrid of the 2 would be cool to see. The paddleboards work well and have low drag...... all that being said Craig does have the potential to be out "Boatercycling ©" for a lot longer than the batteries probably have to offer. "Who needs to turn right anyways" - Jeff Gordon (probably)
Great job on Ed's Rokon restore for Matt's off-road recovery... Thanks so much for all your hard work and generosity. God Bless you and your families.

What's funny is that body glove just did a recall on those paddle boards, because they would blow up to easily due to glue failure
😮😅

Great show, also syndicated in other countries
Yeah, Junkyard Wars.
Junkyard wars
Dude I loved watching junkyard wars! Same with Monster garage just building ridiculous stuff for an absurd challenge.
Really enjoying the personas you two have developed and how they contrast yet complement each other so well.
Another great job, creative content. You guys are keeping it fun. I wondered what would happen after SRK, it just keeps getting better.
You guys will never cease to amaze me you guys get crazier every video and we love it keep them coming

Wow those both worked surprisingly well I though that they’d both sink for sure… impressive 😂

These videos always come out on a Saturday morning for me, which is perfect. Saturday morning coffee and a funny video. Thanks guys!
Keep doing challenges like this and you’ll need a glittering golden envelope to receive them in.
Hahahaha yes they should do different skits from when top gear had bikes on the show
…filled with glitter that takes 3 showers and couple laundry loads to get rid of
I think Sean nailed it; the paddle boards glide much easier over water and has no drag from a rudder to steer it. A little more mad sciencing and Craigs will work pretty good too.
(spoiler) Honestly surprised Sean's worked that well and Craig's flopped that bad
Really? Craig's was so much more complex and cuts through the water worse than my CherokeeXJ cuts through the air
I agree, when running my leaf blower I don't get pushed around.
Thanks for ruining the video
Thanks for spoiling the video
Glad i didn’t read comments for once!
This was an fun episode. Thank you for sharing your adventure. As a new motorcycle tech I love your episodes. Prayers for many more successful rides.
🤣 Sean’s “boat” is freakin awesome!!

Craig's engineering genius left me awestruck. However, I did know that the weight of water was 8.yatayatayata.
What a freaking great video! Thank you guys for putting a smile on my face on such a hot day.

You both did a better job than the guys from Top Gear, who did this challenge on their Vietnam special about ten years ago
