  • In this video, I take a look at the new anti-spin Hex 22' pole from Xline Systems. I answer a few of the questions I have been asked about Uni-valves and Tubeless kits and take a look at the size, weight etc.
Don't forget to get an extra 5% off from Xline to use the code TCG5 at checkout.

The full review will be on The Cleaning Guide when we have had the chance to use it for a while.

Tne top section... needs a standard circle and groove for all standard attachments... I have to be able to attach my Gardner acme adapter direct to the pole and screw in my 14" flocked Nylex brush!
When you attach a flocked or boars hair brush direct to the Acme adapter and pole it perfects the geometry and magnifies the scrub power of the pure water pole system.
Its crazy how one small change can equate to a massive improvement in both speed and effect.
X Line has the equipment to dramatically improve anyone's pure water cleaning service. Thank-you for demoing their stuff.
    Thanks SCD!
Hey X-Line... We want a stocking warehouse in the United States!

I've tried it out. It's not that good. It's not very rigid for a 3k, ova8 is more rigid , but heavier When you close the pole down, it can get stuck due to the shape of the pole sections. End bung can be popped out when fully closed. For a pole at this price I wouldn't buy it. I'm just glad someone else did , so I saved my money.

@@peterpenfold1993 Ridigity is everything above 20 feet... So ultra high mod is paramount above 20'.
Most of the pole work we do is two story residential and any low end pole will almost work... A stiffer ultra high mod pole equates to more scrub power at any height.
On dirty windows...I clean with soap and water and a Nylex flocked brush and rinse with a hybrid or full on boars hair window brush on a second pole 🤽‍♂️ . I call it the Texas Two Step... and then single step RO pure water on cleaner windows.

Looks a decent pole but one down side I can see is, even tho the pole is anti spin the aluminium fitting for the brush is threaded which tends to make the brush spin from time to time. Which gets annoying when you got to keep tightening it up between a couple of cleans. Hence why I changed to the ova8 as the brush never spins due to it being a clip on instead of being threaded. If xline changed their threaded system to a clip on it would make more sense.

Spot on dave would love a review against the ova8 to see which you prefer once you've had a couple of weeks with it

From this video I would question the hex pole feels better and is more rigid. But I don't euro threads I feel the spin a fair but if too much pressure applied. Look forward to seeing how you get on dave.

Hi Dave. How are you getting on with the Hex as I’m thinking of getting one. Had ova hi mod 22 but want to try something different as ova carbon doesn’t seem to take much punishment.

I really like it but it is quite flexible. I have heard that Xline have a Hi Mod 22' hex coming out in around a months time though

Has anyone tested the 27ft Hi Mod Hex pole?
Is it more rigid than the standard 3k Carbon?

Ah I'm actually thinking of buying a 22ft ova 8 hi mod but was a little put off by the price. I have a 17ft ova 8 which I've had over 3 years and it's been great so am considering sticking with the brand would you guys recommend them?
