- After using the Hex 22' Water Fed Pole for just under a year I have finally got around to reviewing it. I explain what I like and don't like about the pole and let you know whether I would buy one or if there is something else I would buy instead.

I’ve been using X line for around eight years .
I’ve had a lot of their different products that mounted systems trolley systems, different poles different brushes
My honest opinion is the evolution pro + is that best value product with everything taken into consideration, quality rigidity strength, reliability, and price obviously . Hope this helps someone
yes, I’ve also been asking. them
To do a swivel head for years, clearly not interested 😢
Thanks Dave, always enjoy uour informative & non biased reviews. Currently use the overpriced Unger Nlite poles & personally find them the best poles ive ever used. Certainly beat the spinning Gardiner poles by some way . ☘️
Gardiner Xtreme kicks it in weight, versatilty & attachments.
And snapping 😂
Still think it’s Ova8 all day long mate 👍🏻
I like videos like this Dave 👍 I think I’ll be sticking with my gardiner slx22
Agree with you there Dave about Xline making a swivel gooseneck. I can understand no point when you can use the Gardiners gooseneck, but Xline should make one for the Hex or ask Gardiner to make one for the Hex. Only thing that would stop me from buying the Hex is no swivel gooseneck and I like the Quick Loq system to change brushes quickly. I am mainly all Xline for my kit just really enjoy the Gardiners swivel goosenecks and Quick Loq system. I also do not like the euro threads as they never seem to hold attachments tightly and they end up wearing and moving. So threading on a swivel gooseneck I feel would not be good in the end.
Interesting vid bro 😊
My OVA8 pole is great, but maybe a buy a smaller less weight. The x line brush with the wash bar saves so much time and water.
Good video Dave. I found that XLine’s customer service was a bit poor. I thought about a Hex Pole but they are quite a bit more in cost than an SLX or similar carbon pole so didn’t bother. I am tempted by the XLine brushes though.
I love the Xline brushes. The central rinse bar is fantastic
Question what would you recomend pole wise for the least whipisest pole for say cleaing facia's over a conservatory currently im usinfg a phantom 22
Ova8 all day long 👊🏻👌🏻
Think I'll stick to ova8 poles. But how does the hex compare?
I have an ova8 and a Hex pole. My ova8 is 4 yrs old and is still great. The hex is a year old and as Dave said it twist slightly. My SLX 22 twists really badly. Will be getting another ova8 as they last much longer
I've had my ova8 for 3 years now, and section 2 at the bottom is splitting and strips of carbon is falling out of the bottom, have you experienced that yet? To replace the section is about 100quid, I do like the feel and design of the ova8 but with they would sell the high mode in the 25foot category.
Is there a way to get this pole either in Canada or in USA?
You would need to drop XLine Systems an email.

Hi Dave, what is your go to everyday pole?
Ova8 22' Hi Mod
I think the Unger nLite 24k is the best you can at the minute heavy maybe but built like a tank, the clamps are easily fixed with PTFE tape
That’s the worst pole I’ve ever used, clamps are a disaster, it’s absolute garbage
Is it better than ova8
No
