The Second Best Fish and Chips Takeaway in the U.K.

I just had to try the second best takeaway in the U.K. and as it was local it made it even better as I love to support local business but did the award live up to expectations ?

Kevin, I used to say only two places that matter in any competition were First or Last. Anything else not worth the effort. Have now changed my mind. The pride on finishing 2nd, was brilliant to see. And that monster munch bit of cod, fantastic. Chips & scraps, mushy peas. All at a bargain price and eaten in beautiful location. Fabulous. Congratulations on passing 1,000 plus. Only way is up🎉🎊🎈🛫🍾Can't not mention the sad news of the young girl from Darlington. Thoughts and prayers to her family 😔👪. Allan&Family

Lovely grub, Kevin - and such nice surroundings. I like your format. VERY cheap fish & chips of that quality - proppa cod, for sure. Love your accent too - I'm a southerner, but lived in Ouston (RAF base) near Hexham for 2 years back in the day. Keep this coming - next step - 5K!
