I visited this brewery about 30 years ago and thought a return visit was due , So decided to try the Sunday Roast Beef made with Sirloin and Gravy made with their signature Ale .
I think the location deserved more praise than the meal , absolutely stunning vistas mate. Beef looked exactly how I like it and no surprise that the Yorkshire pud was spot on being a Yorkshire establishment. I love my pasta al dente but with your misses preferring my vege cooked through , nowt worse than crunchy broccoli 🤣
That's the type of Black Sheep I'd like in my family. Seems to be your good lady follows the English method of vegetable cooking 😱For lunch at 13.00,put the vegetables on to cook by 09.00!!!🥕🥦🫛Joking aside, that meal looked fabulous. Good crisp veg&chunky roast potatoes. Who's Yorkshire Pudding's. Gordon or James's? 🤔🤔My choice for meat, a bit of pink please. But, gravy. Can add so much flavour to any foods. Should be served by the glass. Still I look back to my roast lamb & mint sauce AND onion sauce. Nice way to wind down on a Sunday night. Cheers Allan&Family
Thanks for your comments Alan and yes one of the best Sundays roasts and not a Gordon or James in sight , Yes I agree the gravy can make a meal like this just perfect and when the meal first arrived there wasn't quite enough but my good lady managed to get more and yes im sure there will be plenty of people saying it was a bit pricey but I believe you only get what you pay for and to top it all the drive through the countryside was beautiful , Thanks again Kev
Fabulous meal in great surroundings. Well worth a visit.
