@@zTyya98 I mean MHR is coming out THIS year and they do need time and patience to use the full potential of the next consoles. I will never understand comments like this. I spent approximately 1hour with the LightBowGun in the training room and discovered 90% of the moves it had. You're trying to say after 180 hours you still didn't learn everything about your "main"? Sorry, the game isn't THAT complex so I doubt you used this weapon for that long.
I just started playing this game, about 30 hours in and now I am going through all your tutorials. I'm really learning a lot, thank you for putting so much effort into them!!

That little smug chuckle at the end? That's what we LBGers go for. A monster ending itself on one of our wybernblast mines is how we know that we outsmarted the big bad beastie, not overpowered it. And there's something infectiously satisfying about that
So which is the best way to use Wyvernblast? From the video I learned that controlling the damage output is 1) difficult, 3) highly situational and 3) the difference is not that big. Super important thing that I only realized after 50+ hunts with a HBG: You can change the order of the ammo as it appears in the quick select menu by hitting R1/L1 while editing your item bar (triangle after looking at item pouch or while editing a saved item build after pressing R3 on it)

Some aspects not covered in the video. 1) Managing your ammo types menu. Going through the list using L1+X is not the only option available to you. You can also use the circle menu to switch between ammo types. This is especially important if you carry tons of ammo at the same time, switching from pierce to sleep might take a while. Also you can actually change the order in which these items appear in your menu (L1+X or triangle)! Just equip all the ammo you are going to use, go to menu -> inventory. There you can press triangle and you will enter a menu that will allow you to change a manner in which the items are listed (press R1 or L1 to switch to ammo types, instead of usual items). Extremely usefull. This will allow you to set the ammo types in such a manner that you can use one type of ammo and then, once the magazine is empty, just switch to another type instantly by pressing "down" or "L1+X", instead of reloading or running through the whole menu, trying to find the ammo type you need. 2) Wyvernblast Mostly it was covered, but I want to clarify 2 things. The mine triggers once monster actually HITS it with attack, not when he comes by (at least this is how I perceived what Arekkz said in the video). The amount of damage the mine deals indeed depends on the damage it receives and thus the counter damage after a monster attacks it is actually HIGHER than if you trigger it on your own with any normal attack (without using LBBs). From the video on the arena it was hard to disctiguish, because black diablos moves and attacks at the same time, but it may not work with other monsters as smoothly. One more thing, if you are using these to deal extra damage to a sleeping monster, try to place it closer to the center of the body. It has a lower blast radius than LBB, so you may want to position it so that it would hit the monster again once he wakes up. Of course it may be harder to trigger, but if you use pierce shots - you will be fine. 3) Ammo types Sticky ammo type ingores which area of the monster it hits. Basically it works as a small barrel bomb which sticks to the body. So you can deal the same amount of damage even if the monster is covered in armor (like lavasioth, or kirin-teostra-kushala with their auras). Same goes for cluster and wyvernfire btw, but they can only be loaded in HBG, so we leave them for next weapon tutorial :D 4) Modification\weapon stats Recoil and realoading both affect your mobility and attack speed. With lvl 1 or 2 (fast ormal) you can shoot (or reload, respectively) on the run, while with level 3 or 4 you will have reduced mobility (you will be knocked back with recoild and will be forced to reload while standing still). As Arekkz mentioned, for LBG the recoil is the biggest issue usually, so most likely you will have to add some recoil modifications. But keep in mind, that unlike some HBGs, the LBG also has rather small ammo capacity, so you might want to consider reloading mods as well. Or at least the FreeElementa\AmmoUP skill. Damage increase mods do not apply to sticky ammo (and cluster). Even though they work for normal, pierce and scatter. Have not tested them for other types so far.
NIKromanzer When using the HBG I actually preferred using the L1+X menu. The radial menu is a bit slow because it might be on the wrong page. But I know exactly where my L1+X menu is based on what ammo I just fired, so I can switch ammo types without looking at it..... most of the time. 🤣 (Not all the time) Like I'll have Spread 2 and Spread 3 next to each other and I can swap between the two easily in between shots. My radial menu is chock full of ammo crafting shortcuts anyway. XD
Sure, but this is how I use radial menu on my Nerg LBG. I have 3 ammo types listed there, normal lvl2 (rapid firing), piercing lvl 1 and sleep. I have sorted the ammo in the list in such a manner that when I switch to normal lvl2, the next ammo types will be all scatter from lvl 1 to 3 (basically this is a close-combat setup), if I switch to piercing the next ammo types will be dragon and slicing (long range\piercing ammo type) and if I switch to sleep, I can use sleep and paralysis. Overall, you dont need to place all the ammo types on the radial menu, switching between closest ones with L1+x is indeed faster. But! If you carry tons of ammo, this is a much more efficient way to switch between ammo types that are far away from each other.
Since I keep forgetting to bring barrel bombs on a hunt, I keep finding myself laying all my wyvern blasts in front of the sleeping monster and using the melee attack to hit all the bombs and it’s head at the same time. I call it “The Wake Up Slap”.
heyho Hoki here a fellow LBG user. great vid arekkz. while it becomes fairly obvious in the course of the video the main difference to other weapon types in this game is what this playstyle is about: preparation. btw thanks for some indepth insight about the bowgun upgrades. seeing the different effect next to each other helps a lot. most LBG just pick the rapid guns for some quick dmg. seeing you talk about RF as not necessary (and even including a sleep bombing tactic in your fight) is quite refreshing actually. while im no fan of support ammo as the widerange support sets are easily obtained by wiggler helmet + commision armor (+ 1 more gem) LBG allows for more tactical approach over time due to the wyvernblast and status.
My only gripe with this video is I wish he had talked more about the elemental setups. He did bring up their biggest benefit (extremely forgiving critical range) but left out skill recommendations for building around them (Critical Element most importantly). Still, this video taught me something brand new with the dive attacks into quick reload, and for beginners this is a great video.
Need to talk about the xeno jivia armour set bonus, as a lbg main I find it's the staple of your armour build and helps negate your biggest weakness!(lack of ammo) plus getting a couple free shots can be so helpful to make sure a status or stun sticks.ive got 6 free shots out of a clip of 3 dragon ammo so you know it's worth taking about at the least.
Atsushi Yamaguchi I already knew I was going to pick up the weapon, I have for all the weapon workshops he has made. And fyi, I picked up the bow gun and jumped into the training room to follow along with the video :)
My friend recommended me to this video, since I am relatively new and am loving light bowgun. I heard that light bowgun is easy mode with its range and mobility, but it doesn't seem the case, since keeping up with ammo, using them in the right situations, and sometimes having to be risky with the wyvernblasts (I call them mini nukes) is its own kind of difficult. Overall, this showed me good skills to look out for, how to build builds based around weapons and attachments, and the damage stages to the mini nukes.
I just started playing MHW a few weeks ago, never played any MH game before. You are who I consult when ever I considering trying a new weapon class, and reading comments of people playing their mains finding themselves dumbfounded by the amount of things they didn't know. It gives me confidence that I'm at the right place. Thank you for making what's been somewhat of an overwhelming learning experience much easier
Whoa, ranged weapons getting the spotlight? Hell froze over lmao. But seriously, I hope people give ranged play a chance, and not just using bow either, I'm talking about the bowguns specifically. It's fantastic in MHW
I know that I started out the game using the HBG but have fallen off to my old mistress the Gunlance. I think I will plan a quick build for LBG and pick back up the HBG thanks to this video.
def gonna be using ranged a lot more now that i can use a full game pad in a MH game... it was so clunky on 3ds i really respect people who main ranged weapons on those games
Few more necessary tips; Blow up the mines before you leave. Their cooldown starts when they disappear, not when you put them down. Every day it's available, get Felyne Temper, which gives a bowgun damage boost. On every hunt pick 2 foods from the bottom of the food menu to get Felyne sharpshooter. It does the same thing as the normal ammo boost, and stacks with it! The very first thing you do, when you open your ammo menu, is make sure nothing you will shoot has the SLOW reload. It forces you to stop moving to reload, and you will get hit absolutely every time that you do. Element-less is worthless for bowguns, because having any elemental or status effect ammo usable on your weapon keeps it from working. Only the unchanged metal tree and the workshop tree can even use it, but their ammo selection and weak damage make it not worth it.
Oh my god thank you. There are so many people that hate on my precious lbg. I'm happy that you made this video in hopes it'll make the weapon more popular, or at least convince people it's not garbage.
That's what I'm saying. Nimbly dodging around monsters at close proximity and just railing on their face. It's so much fun! Like I understand it's not everyone's thing, but saying that the weapon is trash is blatantly untrue.
I still have some questions but I guess once I start playing with this gun I'll get better understanding of its intricacies. Overall this was a great tutorial that brought a complete noob/0% exp with this weapon to an overall and rather good understanding of how it works and how to build around it. Thanks!
You forgot to mention something about auto reload.. When it comes to auto reload, the capacity for the ammo is limited to 1.. So you fire 1 shot and auto reload and fire auto reload, etc... So auto reload is a very situational effect... The value of the auto reload is directly related to the type of ammo being used.. It's just something you guys need to test out to see if it's something you want in a LBG.. just explaining for all you guys
If you don't mind, I'd like to see a tutorial for the Hunting Horn next. I feel that if you make a guide for it, it'll give the weapon some more exposure and will hopefully get used more.
Had a restart with four of my friends, we all picked weapons we never played that we had to main the entire time on that account, I got heavy but they said that for utility reasons I could use light too, so knowing I can effectively grind anything with different play styles makes everything easier to adjust too, and this weapon is so fun!
Amazing video! I just started playing MHW, first 5 hours was confusing from the information overload, but now I can start to appreciate videos like this.
I mainly use the insect glaive, lbg, and charge blade, and you tutorials have seriously upped my game for the latter 2. Keep up the great work man and I'm looking forward to ur insect glaive vid.
Been playing this game with a bow for nearly 500 hrs. Lately I’ve been looking for a diff weapon b/c I’m feeling like I’m not doing enough damage with my bows anymore. After watching this, I wanna use a light bowgun now, thanks!
Great video man I'm a new subscriber and new to the Monster Hunter Series. So far the monster hunter series is very AWESOME and your a very awesome teacher helping us being a very great hunter I been following all your tutorial videos and you taught me a lot to do the awesome moves you did in the videos. I been doing very good with each weapon you did so far but still need a little practice but if I practice a lot no monster could beat me at all or even touch me. Just wanna to say thank you a lot for the help looking forward to mastered all 14 weapon's. Your great UA-camr who explain how to do the moves and you show the button lay outs on how to do the moves. Keep up the great work and reach million subscribers your almost there!!!!!!!
Slashing ammo is also used for hitting elders that have a protecting cloak like val, teostra, kushala or kirin. As slashing damage is not affected by it. So if you dont have a clear shot at the head or tail go for slashing and at least do some damage.
I've been making my way through all the weapons in the game, "mastering" them as best i can in anticipation for the spring update. these videos help alot
Dude, your videos are the best. I'm running around with the lbg thinking the normal and spread shot are trash compared to elemental. Turns out I'm using the mods in the wrong way. The explanation of the armor skills was incredibly helpful. I see people destroying shit with the lbg and I had no idea how they were using the weapon so effectively.

If anyone is curious about on paper dps with different ammo types. I took a full build specialised around each major build and calculated the DPS of each. Results: Vaal Hazak lbg using Spread3s: 94dps (Slow reload, hard to use, Xeno set bonus). Jyura using Spread2s: 73dps (Augments for 2att 1affin. Theoretical dps without augs is around 65). Rapid normal 2s: 61dps (Borth Nergi lbg and Karma here almost identical. Nergi hit slightly harder but with slightly less affinity). Normal 3s: 50dps (Greatbowgun). Other builds like xeno slicing, sticky, rapid spread 1s were much lower in damage output. DPS takes into account affinity, fire rate, reload spits and xeno set bonus if applicable. And of course, use what you enjoy the most :)
I'm not sure if someone else commented this but, One thing to note with Slicing Shot is that if paired with Thorn Pods dropped by some Monsters and Helmet Crabs can get you K.Os fairly easily if you land at least one thorn pod on the monster's head and given Diablos is very susceptible to stun for instance and drops thorn pods makes getting some breathing room in a hunt alot easier when the monster starts to get onto it's last legs.
Every tutorial video you post makes me want to use that weapon. I haven’t even tried the Light Bowgun in my ~80 or so hours and I feel like I’m missing out.
I’ve been waiting for this and I don’t even main bowguns! Plz tackle the heavy bowgun next. I’m a hammer/charge blade user by the way but I’ve been experimenting with these weapons
Thanks for such a concise, straightforward guide! Useful and easy to understand even for someone as uncannily bad as I am lol. Just got back into MHW and finally decided to try out the LBG.
this is the first weapon that made me actually feel like im doing directed damage to a monster ! everything i tried before made me feel like i am swinging at all directions and getting lucky with hits ..
Ranged main here! The LBG is one of my most used weapons out of HBG and Bow Just wanna list some good LBG for anyone that wants to try them out. RF Normal 2: Karma Nerg RF Elemental: Rathbuster (Fire) Jyura (Water) Lightning Blitz (Thunder) Daora's Hornet (Ice) General skills you want for any build: WE Atk boost Special ammo boost Maximum Might (your stamina will most likely be full most of the time) Free elem/ammo up For elemental guns, get the rath mastery. (Any 2 pieces of rath equipment) For new players, a good starting gun to build is the Karma LBG. Build up on your normal RF (since it got buffed), before exploring the elemental guns. The different elemental builds might cost a lot of zenny when you take augmenting into account. Your video covers the rest of the basics of LBG. There are many other things that depends on your playstyle like bow gun mods and ammo types to use. This is what made me fell in love with the LBG. Great video btw!! Looking forward to your next weapon workshop.
Thanks for making this, i hope people will understand the LBG better now, i primary this weapon and i always end up carrying my team with it. its a fantastic weapon once you learn the basics of it.
Another kick ass video man :]. It’s also worth noting btw for anyone picking up the bowgun that the elemental damage types(fire, ice, etc) have a piercing aspect to them as well. It’s not nearly as prevalent as pierce ammo obviously, but it’s still worth it to be firing down the length of the monster whenever possible with those as well I think.
One thing I think was missed that is fairly important is that when you have reload at fast, you can move and reload at the same time which is really great to have. Great video though!
So, regarding the special ammo. I believe I read on reddit that say, someone would use spread 1, 2 shots, then the final, spread 2. You get 3 shots, but the final bring the strongest grants the biggest damage with the mines. So two weak shot, then a stronger one for maximum efficiency
One small note is that drawing with triangle will reload the weapon while drawing via R1 will not, this is sorta important in select situations like after dropping wyvernblast next to a downed monster, since if you draw vi triangle and reload you can miss the window to proc the 4 small explosions followed by a large one.
I just tried out light bowgun to see if it made fighting Kirin any easier and holy shit was it a revelation. I'm going to be using it from now on against monsters that are too big a pain in the ass to melee.
Man, yeah, while the tutorials have always been good and informative, that demo at the end makes it all click so very nicely. My buddy picked up LBG today and was already doing incredibly well with it, and watching this, I saw him using some of the same tricks to wonderful effect. THANK YOU!
This helped me out A LOT on big monsters. Was not aware of the crosshair thing. First time playing monster hunter, so I don´t know how the previous one has been.
I was sitting here thinking im not gonna learn much from the video due to the fact i use lbg but i learned today haha great video keep up the good work !
This was incredibly helpful. I didn't even know I could hold down triangle to reload all types of ammo. Also, I was stacking three close range mods. Now I think one of those and two recoil mods might me better.
I’ve got my Karma set up to have crazy high affinity, and way over 100% when I’m hitting weak spots. Absolutely love that gun! Finally got the awakening, spread and normal shots jewels so that has really opened up what armor I can use.
Things I learned in this video: - You can reload all ammo types in sequence by holding down the reload button - You can search for specific skills in the armor forging list - Nergigante lands with its head upside down if you put it to sleep, which looks super adorable
I usually prefer the heavy bowgun. Using the nergi heavy bowgun with spread level 3 and ko mantle. Soooo that’s just op. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had with the bowguns
Spikoly Boii I tried that but I felt it didn't do enough damage. My nergi would do abouy 60 damage lvl 1 piercing and I love wivernsnipe (can't spell it lol)
A note about deviation: In older MH games deviation refers to the movement of the projectiles in flight, whether they move left or right. Now, I've never played MHW due to hardware issues but I played every game from FU to G. In those games a bowgun with deviation meant that the projectile will curve either right or left in flight. This affected the effectiveness of certain ammo like piercing S and elemental ammos. But maybe they changed how deviation works in world, IDK.
The issue in the menus with the recoil suppressor is actually a translation error. They have four words in Japanese, 小, 中, 大, and 特大. Somehow, the 中 and 大 got translated into "Average". They both correspond to Recoil +2 and Recoil +3, which really makes it quite painful because of the huge difference between +2 and +3.
As a Greatsword main for over 300+ hours, the LBG is refreshing. I haven't been hit one time by any monster! I'm so used to getting smacked around with GS.
LOVE THE ARMOR SKILL HELP, i understand the use of attack skills but some smaller depth in the explanation of defensive options would be nice especially with evade, can't wait for HBG and HH, thanks for the awesome content
I have more than 180 hours being a LBG main and I would've never imagined just how many basic things I didn't know. Keep up the great vids!
Definitely going to keep in mind when the next monster hunter game comes out around 2024.

So picking up the light bow gun. Great video, as usual :)
lmao how did you watch finish a 22 min video 1 min after he posted.
Atsushi Yamaguchi I already knew I was going to pick up the weapon, I have for all the weapon workshops he has made. And fyi, I picked up the bow gun and jumped into the training room to follow along with the video :)
I apologise for my incorrect assumptions
Atsushi Yamaguchi all good bro :)
I just try to find one with no deviation. That tends to screw my shots up...
I'm just starting out in MHW and was sent your vids to help get me started. Awesome vid, thanks
Lbg is so fun. You run circles around most monsters, and just rapid fire things at their face
Eddy Garcia Im all about the ranged weapons. The bow gets love and rightly so, but the light and heavy bowguns are amazing
I use all three 😇
Few more necessary tips;
Blow up the mines before you leave.
This game has made me cry very often, it isnt great at explain much. thank you so much. This helps way more than you know.
Oh my god thank you. There are so many people that hate on my precious lbg. I'm happy that you made this video in hopes it'll make the weapon more popular, or at least convince people it's not garbage.
I know how you feel. I not only use the LBG but also the Hunting Horn. 🤣
My heart goes out to you.
Oh man, they don't know what they're missing. Max dmg Spread Shot builds are such a fast-paced, brutally effective way to take down monsters.
That's what I'm saying. Nimbly dodging around monsters at close proximity and just railing on their face. It's so much fun! Like I understand it's not everyone's thing, but saying that the weapon is trash is blatantly untrue.
Will'sWorld it isnt I like the heavy counterpart but that just because I like the big explosive ammo. Lol. What can I say I like explosions.
I still have some questions but I guess once I start playing with this gun I'll get better understanding of its intricacies. Overall this was a great tutorial that brought a complete noob/0% exp with this weapon to an overall and rather good understanding of how it works and how to build around it. Thanks!
Damn this youtuber really put effort in his videos, the first youtuber who explain in clear way, thumbs up and salute for you sir
Holy Poogie! I just started trying the LBG but was a little upset on the lack of good video tutorials for this weapon. Thanks for this, man.
I haven't been so focused on something in probably years... it's great !
Been playing this game with a bow for nearly 500 hrs. Lately I’ve been looking for a diff weapon b/c I’m feeling like I’m not doing enough damage with my bows anymore. After watching this, I wanna use a light bowgun now, thanks!
been thinking of picking this weapon up for a couple days, and i do play on xbox but still this helped out big time!
Add me if you want to hunt sometimes, CaptainBirdFox
Marco Mite are you on xbox aswell?
I’m also on Xbox.....I main Hammer for now...I’m sorta new GT:Jrockinreal7
....Am i the only one who had no idea "Critical distance" was even a thing before looking at this?..
No wonder my bowgun game needed improving lol
Do you have no pattern recognition?
@@alexradice8163 Do you not have a brain stem? trash bait was trash.
This is my main weapon. Been waiting for this video. Keep up the good work.
Slashing ammo is also used for hitting elders that have a protecting cloak like val, teostra, kushala or kirin. As slashing damage is not affected by it.
So if you dont have a clear shot at the head or tail go for slashing and at least do some damage.
Kaocito1 Sticky also works for this
Yep. Any stick and forget ammo ignores the Elderseal basically
That one i didnt know since i focus the stickies near the head so i thought that it just hit the head.
Thx :)
Clicks video - spams like before video starts because we all love and respect Arekkz for his knowledge and professionalism on all things Monster Hunter 👍🏻
Holy crap arekkz your vids are pure quality and not just for likes and shares over exaggerating tutorials like most UA-camrs these days. Keep it up man I've been a long time sub and ive seen you grow over the past couple years. These are the type of content creators we need in this community. I gotta ask tho, have you every thought of maybe some time in the mere future get into podcasting? With You, twosixnine and skillup id listen every week on what you guys have to say in this day's gaming industry
I don't understand why this video has only 26 like and 1M views like do people know what the like button is for ?
If anyone is curious about on paper dps with different ammo types. I took a full build specialised around each major build and calculated the DPS of each. Results:
Vaal Hazak lbg using Spread3s: 94dps (Slow reload, hard to use, Xeno set bonus).
I'm not sure if someone else commented this but,
One thing to note with Slicing Shot is that if paired with Thorn Pods dropped by some Monsters and Helmet Crabs can get you K.Os fairly easily if you land at least one thorn pod on the monster's head and given Diablos is very susceptible to stun for instance and drops thorn pods makes getting some breathing room in a hunt alot easier when the monster starts to get onto it's last legs.
I had no idea Focus affected THOSE charge times as well! If that also works on Wyvernsnipe, I'll need to pick up a charm for it or something.
It does! I use it on my Gemitus II; and I feel like I’m sniping a lot more than not. Also special ammo boost and long range mods to make it hit harder
Wow I thought I was fairly good with the light bow gun, but this video has shown me things I didn't know I could do. This will change everything
this is the first weapon that made me actually feel like im doing directed damage to a monster ! everything i tried before made me feel like i am swinging at all directions and getting lucky with hits ..
Awesome in-depth video about LBG man. Really helped me out with understanding how to use this weapon. Keep up the good work!
Ranged main here! The LBG is one of my most used weapons out of HBG and Bow
Just wanna list some good LBG for anyone that wants to try them out.
RF Normal 2:
Karma
Nerg
RF Elemental:
Rathbuster (Fire)
Jyura (Water)
Lightning Blitz (Thunder)
Daora's Hornet (Ice)
General skills you want for any build:
WE
Atk boost
Special ammo boost
Maximum Might (your stamina will most likely be full most of the time)
Free elem/ammo up
For elemental guns, get the rath mastery. (Any 2 pieces of rath equipment)
For new players, a good starting gun to build is the Karma LBG.
Dont forget Beezel LBG. That thing is god damn amazing
What so amazing abt beezel lbg?
Thanks for making this, i hope people will understand the LBG better now, i primary this weapon and i always end up carrying my team with it. its a fantastic weapon once you learn the basics of it.
Great tutorial as always Arekkz! Thanks again for the best in depth guides on UA-cam!
Gonna hopefully get MHW and I wanna try out bow gun as my first weapon so this has been helpful.
I so glad I've been using this weapon correctly but I'm glad I'd watch this didn't know about the critical circle while aiming. Thanks
With every weapon workshop I'm watching I marvel at how much more complex than I thought MH really is 😵
So, regarding the special ammo.
Just started using the lbg yesterday after a glaive build to get to MR. I WISH I WATCHED THIS SOONER!!!
First time playing monster hunter, so I don´t know how the previous one has been.
for bowguns the spare shot trait is pretty useful as well
I was sitting here thinking im not gonna learn much from the video due to the fact i use lbg but i learned today haha great video keep up the good work !
I just got back to this game after 5 years. Damn UA-cam really knew I'm using the light bow gun now
So I've been debating on if gaijin hunters videos are better and for some reason your videos are just so much easier to understand
This was incredibly helpful. I didn't even know I could hold down triangle to reload all types of ammo. Also, I was stacking three close range mods. Now I think one of those and two recoil mods might me better.
The difference between triangle and R2 it's that when you draw the weapon from triangle it draws into a reload, and from R2 it does not.
I’ve got my Karma set up to have crazy high affinity, and way over 100% when I’m hitting weak spots. Absolutely love that gun! Finally got the awakening, spread and normal shots jewels so that has really opened up what armor I can use.
Things I learned in this video:
- You can reload all ammo types in sequence by holding down the reload button
- You can search for specific skills in the armor forging list
- Nergigante lands with its head upside down if you put it to sleep, which looks super adorable
I usually prefer the heavy bowgun. Using the nergi heavy bowgun with spread level 3 and ko mantle. Soooo that’s just op. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had with the bowguns
Genuine Quagga nergi with lv1 and 2 quick charge is better DPS whise.
Genuine Quagga I use the same, mostly for piercing ammo doe.
Arbalest065 I would suggest using the Legia Shattercryst as your main Pierce HBG!
This was a quality video. You earned yourself a like and a subscriber
Nice tutorial. Just recently switched from bow to light bowgun. I learned a lot from you.
Yes, I've been for this one! I learned a lot despite using the lbg since I picked up MHW. That reload tip will be especially useful.
Arekkz, I just wanna point out how these are hands down the best walkthroughs of the weapons around! Keep it up mate!
Perfect timing, I just started using LBG yesterday
I’m a big fan of LBG vs Kirin and Nerg. Great video once again Arrekz!
Great tutorial. I picked up the game a few days ago and your channel is really helpful. Subbed, keep 'em coming! :)
As a Greatsword main for over 300+ hours, the LBG is refreshing. I haven't been hit one time by any monster! I'm so used to getting smacked around with GS.
It’s been 40 years ;) Love your videos
I had no idea the lbg was so technical. That's why I watch all these.
Found your channel when MHW first came out. It's helped me a ton! Added your channel to my whitelist.
Thank you very much on this. I find it quite impressive how you can sum everything up so well. Great job!
I do have two Warrior streamstones for Range to use, so I guess I'm going to find a Lightbowgun to use.
Having that bomb stacking with that wake up greatsword combo would deal a MASSIVE amount of damage.
DkXboxer lbg is the GOD of sleepbombing setups.
4 lbgs with mega barrel bombs can do hellacious amounts of damage
Awesome video as always! Keep up the great work. Glad to see my weapon of choice getting a spotlight :)
Going to be a long week to hear the next weapon, can't wait to learn more
This is what I used to beat tempered Kirin! Amazing tutorial, Arekkz.
First time ever used a lbg was when I went into the vale for the first time I grew to love quickly lol
yeah. i love the explosion wyverhearts
Use the Light Bowgun and this video taught me a few new tricks
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AREKKZ!!!!!! MAKES THE GAME SO MUCH BETTER TO FINALLY UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING FULLY!!
LOVE THE ARMOR SKILL HELP, i understand the use of attack skills but some smaller depth in the explanation of defensive options would be nice especially with evade, can't wait for HBG and HH, thanks for the awesome content
