Spring is almost here. Winter is gone too soon. Apologies for the dust. All sounds and effects from the Peak. Sequence from Arturia KeyStep into a Squarp Hermod (both off screen).
I lived at a monastery for 2 years deep in the forest of VA. I'd do a lot of walking meditation and there'd be times when the sound of the leaves being rustled by the wind all around me would sound like the most beautiful music I'd ever heard. This music takes my heart and mind back to those beautiful moments alone in the forest.
that sounds delightful. I find it deeply touching that my music can connect with you on that level and take you back to that beautiful moment in time. thank you for sharing.
This piece is absolutely beautiful and brings great piece. Don't apologise for the dust, it enhances the visuals and the music, together evoking older days and nostalgia. Bringing back memories that are now old and dusty. Fantastic work.
My sentiments exactly. Like walking in a forest on another planet, where all the trees make sonic vibrations in the gentle shifting breeze and nights are twice the length of days. No seriously, I’m not baked! Your tones just paint these mental images that are really haunting. Wonderful artistry, R. Thank you.
Can't agree more. I found him back when I had an electribe and was searching for inspiration. the ambient he could pull from that was amazing but this is another level
“Apologies for the dust” was actually an appropriate title. I often see noise osc and distorsions as dust in the sound realm. Make the sound a bit dirty but also more real, raw, moving... Anyway, this is a gorgeous piece of music filled with a lot of emotion, thank you r beny!
Very nice. I view this as Autumn takes hold and envisage the decomposing of leaf matter, as a swirling light wind gathers leafy resonance, returning to dust completing the cycle. We are as the leaves after all.
I listen this track (and the other one) for many years now. And I'm still amazed by the intelligence and the beauty of this composition. After a lot of time spent with a lot of equipment, eurorack & other gear, I just ordered my Peak. Many thanks for your music.
I come back to this video at least once every two weeks and I have for the last 4 years. It's beyond beautiful. And I've wanted a Peak ever since (I still haven't bought one lol). Sublime
I'm impressed with the depth and complexity of sound you achieve with a single tool whether it to be a Novation Peak or Korg Electribe. Love your ambient passages so much! Keep doing great things!
Loving this sound. I really need to spend some more time with my Peak. Such a fantastic synthesizer. This would be so cool with two voices full wide in stereo.

Joseph, you are a poet! And indeed the music is great for meditation.

Even after 3 years this could be my favorite pad chord sequence of all UA-cam.
This is probably my favorite synth video of all time
I’m a simple man. I see r beny, I click.
On a serious note, this was absolutely beautiful. Your ambient tracks are the best I’ve listened to.
Can't agree more. I found him back when I had an electribe and was searching for inspiration. the ambient he could pull from that was amazing but this is another level
Oh wow, it's so deep... It's amazing how much noise can add to the atmosphere and vibe of a composition. Brilliant!
Why did I sell my Peak?
Stunning work. Makes me feel whole, reminds me of why it's good to be an emotional human being. Thank you.
To get a summit I hope

So much emotion in this, it's absolutely beautiful!
This is sublime. I am picturing landscapes in my mind listening to this. Locations way up in the North, where the sun barely leaves the horizon.
that's just about what I have in my head while making a lot of these tunes
I can almost feel the icicles melting in the warming bright sunlight. Stunning work.

If Bach or Beethoven were alive today, this is probably what they would be doing. This is like the soundtrack to a dream you can't remember, love it!

We missed you a lot and you truly make the most beautiful and brilliant Ambient music on UA-cam out there !

Gorgeous as always. It's the mark of a special musician that you retain such a clear identity on whatever instrument you touch.
I call it singing from the soul. :)
