I still put this on to fall asleep, listening to this for 3 years now at least. Been watching the view count and it finally hit 288k. Found a solution to lack of an extended version. Make a playlist with only this video, play it and select loop, I must have played this video a couple of thousand times over night.
I've been looking at diving into modular and analog synths for a few months or so now, but every 'youtube demo' of a different synth just put me off because they were boring and stale and the patches are so rarely demonstrated in a cohesive musical experience. FINALLY, this page has inspired me beyond expectations into what modular can do and I can not wait to get involved now. Thank you r beny, I have had your music on repeat for hours
I remember times, when I was thinking modular synths are all about some bleep-bloop nonsense, and imitating sounds of flies farting in space. People like you can open other's minds. Thank you very much for that.
Airport Security : "Excuse me, can we check your suitcases ... our scanners showed suspicious looking devices and wires inside" ~ *sure, check it out ... it's just a box full of really cool sound potential*
I took a six panel Serge system in a Zero case to the airport and when they saw the module that said VC Clock and Random Voltage Generator they lost their shit. LOL. .
I can't describe with words how deep this piece moves me... Ocean waves swell with longing, reaching out and never grasping anything. A limitless ocean. Thank you very much for creating it.
I keep coming back to this one, I think it's one of my absolute favourites of yours. It reminds me of old beings, hidden from the world, but full of regret. It has this sort of beautiful sadness about it and makes me think of the immensity of history and life.
Another beautiful piece.. you have a fantastic style and use of the MI modules is really great... makes me want clouds and Rings even more.. Love my Braids. been trying to diversify my sources, but I do love the plucky sustaining sounds that Elements, Rings do so well.. Gotta get a Clouds for sure.. Keep it up!!s
Nice! An ambient europatch, with lots of Mutable that doesn't sound overly Mutable! I feel like racks with a lot of their modules have a tendency to sound the same, especially with ambient music. But you really harnessed their expressiveness. Great Job!
Great job, this is really cool. I think I'm going to take your modular as a reference for what modules I want to buy when I start getting my modular built!
I don't know what to do first ... buy myself an analog modular system or build my own system or simply start making music again at all ... maybe all of these three together ... if i only had the time ... absolutely inspiring and amazing ...
So good I want to applaud my speakers when it finishes. The note that cuts through the whole piece just really drives into you emotionally, just beautiful man!
Chilling out and painting today for the day job and listening to this. So good. I recently started playing Minecraft again because I love the music and now that I listen to this, it totally has that vibe. would love to hear an Rbeny OST for a game.
I still think this is one of the best pieces of Eurorack based music I have ever heard...its stunning...and really shows you don't need a silly amount of modules. The textures of this composition are so gripping, I listen to this regularly....well done on a stunning work!
Beutiful track. Thanks for sharing this great music. I´m listening here in sweden the day before christmas walking around my appartment cleaning up a bit for tomorrow thru my headphones.
@@rbeny Are you on Spotify by any chance? You should compile an album and get in on that :) I listened to a few of your other tracks and it hits all the right spots for me man. Love it!
Truly impressed. A beautiful Creation. I would love to hear you make several movements in this vein. Each one telling a story and right there you have a film soundtrack!
I know you say you are not good with beats but every track you make with beats is incredibly beautiful. Even after all your albums, I love your unreleased track "Bloom" the most.
R, earlier this evening, I found a synth artist who's supposedly pretty well known - Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith. I'm telling you, R, you have a profound, innate talent for music and sounds both beautiful and intriguing. What you do is absolutely transportive. It makes me wish I could be in your room, sitting in a comfy chair watching you create.
r beny as I'm sure you are to her if she has heard you. Ever tried contacting she or her booking? I think you need to be discovered as well, R. I like her, but it's you I've returned to so many times.
"Discovered"? r beny can never be attained. He is like an unnamed feeling, or like the mists of time. r beny is quantum. Once you observe it, both it & you are changed. r beny can never be "Discovered". Such a thing can never be had.
Finally someone making music with their modular instead of "jamming" and making cricket noises. Beautiful stuff.
I still put this on to fall asleep, listening to this for 3 years now at least.

I like the fact that this is a sweet, small, compact unit.
Shows that you don’t need a wall of modules to make excellent music.
What about all the stuff located outside the unit?
No doubt about it. This is a stunningly beautiful journey.
Did I miss this? Did I forget about it? Beautiful, and I love the title.
and oldie but a goodie
agreed, how did i miss this one!?
I’m not sure how you guys possibly missed this... perhaps you’ve both been busy making awesome music too... Just maybe
I think this was the first piece of his I discovered and it still remains my favorite. This suitcase modular created some beautiful sounds.
Found this and became inspired. You should be really proud of what you created. Absolutely beautiful.
Thanks beny for sharing your music with us. After some years im coming back and I still really like this piece. All the best, Piet
This straight fucks me up emotionally.
ya.... still...

flies farting in space... The best comparison ever!! had me laughing hard
"In space, no one can hear your farts"
Welcome aboard.
@@raulrodriguez82 Unless you are a fly.
I feel like you could probably get this effect with a well trained fly orchestra.
Airport Security : "Excuse me, can we check your suitcases ... our scanners showed suspicious looking devices and wires inside" ~ *sure, check it out ... it's just a box full of really cool sound potential*
"It's a clock. School project."
Love the words 'box full of really cool sound potential'
Mountain Star Temple yep, every time I travel too 😅
Sir, this here says Anti Matter Launch Codes. Would you please come with us.
I took a six panel Serge system in a Zero case to the airport and when they saw the module that said VC Clock and Random Voltage Generator they lost their shit. LOL. .
This video made me go into modular about two years ago. I came back for another listen and to say thank you. I am now broke and I'm loving it. x
Listening again - it STILL gets better - and better - a true mark of greatness,- I salute you R Beny !
It opens like a flower. Beautiful from start to finish.
I can't describe with words how deep this piece moves me... Ocean waves swell with longing, reaching out and never grasping anything. A limitless ocean. Thank you very much for creating it.
I've come back to watch and listen to this several times. It's really very beautiful, thank you.
dude... there is an army of us yearning to be consumed by the eternal yawn of the void.
Beautiful work.
This video is what really got me interested in eurorack...thank you r beny for being an inspiration!
Amazing! Love it!
Hands down my favourite thing I've seen done of a modular system...fantastic stuff, thank you!
Best "Modular Artist" for my money and this is his best track. Exceptional.
One of the most gorgeous pieces I've heard in recent times. It's solidifying my quest to start and finalize my own eurorack... Good stuff!
Beautiful piece mate. Looks like Rings will have to be my next module.
I keep coming back to this one, I think it's one of my absolute favourites of yours. It reminds me of old beings, hidden from the world, but full of regret. It has this sort of beautiful sadness about it and makes me think of the immensity of history and life.
thank you for the kind words. all that is similar to what I think about when making these tunes. it's the same feeling I get from being out in nature.
wow, this is fantastic. LOVE the string progression from the Rings module. beautifully done!
These videos are not going to help me resist the plunge into modular. Great stuff, subscribed!
Really fantastic. Your videos were one of the biggest pushes that made me commit to getting into analog synthesis.
I love how this music sounds, good job mate. I also love the cute little Platypus on the windowsill behind!
I read the Patch notes three years ago and I had no idea what the heck you were saying. Now I all makes much more sense.
the patch notes are a map

Once again, another beautifully brilliant performance! So lovely!
Incredibly beautiful.
This jam still makes me want to be a better person.

Just love this, on repeat, you have been one on the main inspirations for me starting my modular journey.
Great job, this is really cool. I think I'm going to take your modular as a reference for what modules I want to buy when I start getting my modular built!
Really really beautiful mate. Love seeing this sort of music done on modulars.
Just dipping my toe into Eurorack world for the first time. Wonderful stuff r beny
You’re becoming my daily dose of mind-blowing
oh my god, this video proofs the world needs more modular (for new musical creations)
I don't know what to do first ... buy myself an analog modular system or build my own system or simply start making music again at all ... maybe all of these three together ... if i only had the time ... absolutely inspiring and amazing ...
i always say start small. beautiful music can be made with anything. just about intention.
I listen to this very regularly to fall asleep, an extended version would be awesome!
Wow man, this is really excellent!! Beautiful patch/work.
So good I want to applaud my speakers when it finishes. The note that cuts through the whole piece just really drives into you emotionally, just beautiful man!
Music of pure depth, without foreground or background, without distance

Simply gorgeous, no yammering necessary. This feels amazing.
Amazing performance and patch
beautiful arrangement!
Have always loved your channel and your music! Such a great track.
Love it, it's almost like one of the calmer Mogwai tracks... you could be forgiven thinking that there's a couple of electric guitars in there :)
was definitely trying to make those resonators sound like e-bowed guitars :)
@@rbeny Are you on Spotify by any chance? You should compile an album and get in on that :) I listened to a few of your other tracks and it hits all the right spots for me man. Love it!
