Some genres of bands play much more loudly than others. Those bands provide great entertainment but of course it can't be fully appreciated until you see and hear them live.

As other reply states, the idea for the order was influenced by freemasonry, but the influences end with the idea of the structure of Lodges, District, Grand Lodge basically.
