I think you may have switched values for Int and Wisdom. Value 0, modifier -5 and Value 9, modifier -1. It does not change the marvelous content of this session, just the understanding of the Character sheet :D

Andrius charming himself to become immune to anyone less charming is a very characteristic way to use Countercharm.
Is that even possible?
@@limbo3545 Naw, but he's saying to flavor the Countercharm spell to be Andrius charming himself.
@@aichmalotizo9873 Yeah, I love flavoring like, especially in certain cases when the DM decides to allow certain things that aren't normally possible due to them making sense in character. One of my favorite examples is in Critical Role Campaign 1 at one point party bard Scanlan asks if he can inspire himself. Ordinarily not according to rules as written but Scanlan is *so* full of himself that DM Matt figures if there was any bard out there who would find inspiration in his own hype, it would be Scanlan so he allows it specifically because of that.
@@limbo3545 Technically yes. Charm person doesn't say you can't target yourself.
Effects of the same name also cannot stack. Like advantage. You either have it or you don't. You either have resistance or you don't. You have a condition or you don't.
That means if you're currently charmed, you cannot be charmed again because you already have the condition.
Life is meant to be nuanced so of course it should be allowed and tolerated.
Just realized a Mind Flayer would probably starve if it tried to eat Nixie's brain.

I hope for season 5 we get an episode or two with JUST the anti-party. The Warlock and the Cleric having a religious dispute. The paladin trying to reign in the rogue. And the barbarian trying to stay out of it so he can draw.
Im thinking the opposite might happen in an ironic way. The Warlock and Cleric being respectful of eachothers religion and does not try to convert the other. The Paladin encouraging the Rogue to be a better person. And all of them supportive of the Barbarian’s drawing. Getting along with people of different views and backgrounds might be easier than getting along with people that want to kill, burn, and f*** eveything they see.

Also, having an Intelligence of 0 is a weird flex, but it works for Nixie!
I mean, technically it would leave you a literal vegetable, but I guess the DM was merciful.

@@nujevad28 antagonist doesn't mean baddie, it just means whoever's against the protagonists (which also doesn't mean goodie).

I love how Nixie has an Int of 0 as her dump stat, but all of her other scores are still juts the average array, so it's like she dumped Int but got nothing.
I actually like the character of Annandale the best, he is a bit one note, but he seems to be invested. Others are just murder hobos. With a bit of off the table talk he could be the easiest to fix.
Oh haven't anyone told you? now a days immersive players are the bad players and murder hobos are the norm.

Nixie's intelligence is so low, she can't even write the modifier and score in the right places.

All her skill points went into reading and writing arcane symbols. I struggled to keep up trying to read the page she had doodled all over
By the way, there's no way you can actually have 0 in any stat. Also, the lowest possible roll at character creation is 3, meaning that Nixie is in fact affected by Annandale's spell.

You can't have any stats lower than 3, especially inteligence. She couldn't learn how to speak or write with so low Int.
@@voilav2890 You actually can have stats lower than 3. For example, the Intellect Devourer has an attack that drains intelligence. Creatures whose intelligence becomes 0 in this way becomes stunned forever until they gain at least 1 intelligence. A living, functional creature always has at least 1 point in any ability score.
Also, certain races like kobolds have a negative ability score increase (Strength -2). But Nixie is a Tiefling.
Nixie's character sheet is making my eye twitch. I'm fine with you wanting to put the mod in the little bubble and the score in the big or vice versa, whichever floats your boat, BUT WHO SWITCHES IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SAME SHEET?! And how would she have 0 Intelligence and not be dead?! She would be less booksmart than a bug.

Actually, she has anything that starts with a + in the big bubble so it will look important, and put modifiers that start with a - into small bubbles because they are unsightly. :D
Love that this character came back, but can we all just take a moment to marvel at how the *players* all failed their Perception/Insight checks to see through that disguise?
The disguise is only the tip of the iceberg. I spent months learning how to Kendall. The posture, the hands, the sadness...

If INT is her dumpstat, she would have -1 intelligence ;)
18 Dex and 17 Char is great for a starter Sorcerer. Helps you aim rays and you can still get to 22 Char without buff/items at level 20.

You get +1 ability score point for every 4 levels. So 17 plus the 5 at 20th lvl gives 20.

I've once had a character with an intelligence of 3 get a permanent curse that gave a - 2 on int. The character couldn't even speak, was basically playing a primal instinct druid at that point.
Even a cat has 3 in intelligence... He must've had his neocortex and limbic systems shut down, all the way back to fish brain.

my favorite character this season has to be the Cleric. I loved when she just lost it and took out lalondra an nixie, and was like. "I'll raise them later, much later." and shows that the cleric is not a walking healing potion.
Xax'gaddoth truly is a mighty Old One if his most zealous follower can still survive a decapitation
All he had to say was: "As a Warlock, you will have access to unlimited amounts of fire with Eldritch Blast."
