After watching this compilation again, I feel like Rob's acting chops don't get enough love. He's a master of subtle expressions (mostly of the "I can't believe this shit" variety). Watching him react to - let's be honest, mostly Rowan's - shenanigans is the best part of the skits.

They have broad assumptions they make about everyone, and if your tax return differs greatly from what they expect (or if they just decide to pick you) they may investigate you to find out how much you actually owe. Of course it's still dumb, most peoples taxes are pretty simple, and if you assume people are being honest, the government can indeed do most peoples taxes for them, as they do here in NZ.
2nd skit was a result of Rob's suffering with Baradun and Co. wanting to know every single detail of some random NPCs instead of progressing with the plot.

I'm hoping they also make one where one of the players constantly introduces himself, his loss of power, and his fugitive status to everyone he meets. I noticed the beholder on Rob's folder at 00:33. Reminds me of Four Keys Book Arts when Dennis re-bound his 5th ed books and made a metal beholder for the cover.

Whenever a player asks a question about pissing, shitting or other general bodily function/general action that isn't mentioned at all, I just say that they do it during each of their short or long rests.
this is giving me flashbacks to several campaigns where i had to re-roll the monster matrix for a few D&D games on the fly because if i didn't the party would die to a parole of kobolds after getting three flights of arrows into then as they were arguing over a "random monster encounter" ( and absent minded wizard who walked through the party, mumbling "it must be here somewhere?" down the hall and vanished into the wall 50 yards ahead.) party is pounding on the wall arguing about it . nobody asks when i say "Roll a D4" three separate times! no perception check, no binding wounds, no healing of any kind. (they were down to only 3-4 HP each!) they only notice when the kobolds start laughing at them taunt them and disappear into the darkness of the hallway! (Note: in my dungeons a 1st level character as a 50% chance of surviving a first level "Floor" of the dungeon) above every entrance are the words: *"STUPIDITY KILLS"*

The Ruined Plans skit was great. Instead of the group successfully crossing the rope bridge to infiltrate the stronghold and rescue Vivian, the mage wakes up every hobgoblin in the place and puts the group in danger. Rob's frustration and disbelief at having several other sessions thrown out is easily felt by other DM's as the hobgoblins and Vivian plunge to their dooms.

Just recently got into DND, love it. Rolled myself a Human artificer and got jacked stats, does fantastic with combat rolls but he can’t do persuasion to save his life.
This series is great. I've had so much fun watching. I really hope we'll get to see more of the actress that played Schmerple (or Alan's sister). She's fantastic. Her facial expressions and demeanor are hilarious and fit perfectly. You're all awesome playing your parts. She just really stood out to me and I hope she'll get to be on again. Long live Schmerple!

If the Wizard's Staff as well as the Druid's Staff are Arcane Foci then the verbal components shouldn't matter.
