I've been waiting for quite a while for an AIO with a big display to 'finish' my build. When this was announced I knew my wallet was going to be crying for mercy. What I've learned since I installed mine a little over two weeks ago: 1) This thing is the real deal. 2) It fits in the side-front mount area of the Hyte Y60 & Y70 and the front of the Fractal Design Define 7, but not the top - at least, not without modification - it *might* fit the front of the Fractal Design Define R5. 3) The hardware works really well. 4) You can only mount the CPU block with the liquid transport tubes facing down since the screen orientation is fixed and can't be changed, even with the software. 5) The software couldn't be more unstable even if the development goal was to make the software as unstable as possible (it crashes out ALL the time - no excuse necessary - I've never seen it run for more than a couple hours, and that's VERY rare) - hopefully this will improve with future updates. 6) Upon install, use the software to ensure the pumps and fans are set to use the unit's firmware stored curve or your motherboard's curves...DON'T rely on the software to control the fans and pumps since the software WILL crash out ALL the time. 7) What's shown on the display is not very customizable atm (as Jay demonstrated), although there are actually 3 clocks to choose from (the digital, an analog, and a rainbow backed analog) - hopefully this will improve with future updates. 8) When using the default config of basing the fan and pump speeds on the liquid temp rather than the CPU temp this thing is pretty quiet - nearly silent most of the time - and it's not at all bursty. 9) With Prolimatech PK-3 on a 7950X3D in a Y60 case (with vented side window by Jackface Customs) my CPU temp, under sustained, full load with ycruncher, never reached 80c. 10) I still find it hard to believe the static pressure numbers provided by Hyte for the included fans - 8.14 mm H2O vs. 3.x for the best I've been able to find elsewhere. 11) While there's always room for improvement, Hyte definitely deserves the recognition it is receiving for its current products. 12) EDIT: Don't know how I missed this - the display is Android based with a little under 30GB of on-board storage - let the hacking begin!
HYTE is easily becoming one of my favorite makers for PC parts/accessories. I am still in awe at my Y60 case. It's so well built, easy to maintain and easy to clean.
HYTE has come out swinging right out of the gate! Thanks for showing these all off. I just rebuilt my system with the Uni-Fans but this is so awesome. Can't wait to see what they come out with to integrate into this system as it grows!!!
That looks sick! So glad there's companies out there like Hyte who are changing things up and making it interesting. Innovation doesn't happen by doing the same thing all the time.
This was all but said when it was shown off initially. It's designed to fit the Y40 in particular. It's def a cool product but for $299.99 that's a tough sell...esp since some early test show it not being better than standard 360mm aio's that are less expensive. The product itself is nice looking but in typical AIO fashion, you're paying for the display over the cooling ability. The software has more potential than the actual AIO. The wiring is interesting esp with the sensor option, better implementation than Corsair's that are on the fan...esp after Der Bauer's video about those fans vs their new less expensive fans.
Damn...my corsair link 360mm aio was 100 bucks cheaper. Well it's a new product we can expect the price to come down at some point...hopefully lol @@emilyshabang
Now that is how you make an "eco system" of products that actually work with each other. The same can be said with there software by how Jay showed it off. If HYTE utilized it well, they could essentially run the software for all connected accessories on device, outside of the Windows environment and even take control from the UEFI. Awesome Video Jay. I Look the Look and The Way Hyte Works. I Think This Could be a Great Upgrade for Me in the Near Future. Keep Up the Great Work and Look Forward to Watching Your Next Video.
I would like to see some radiator setups like this for custom loop cooling would be pretty cool to basically have the rad fans and wiring setup and then just add tubing some fittings and have a cpu block setup with the screen you essentially just install the 2 main components and add tubing and fluids plug it in and off you go
If Hyte made custom loop cooling parts with the same ease of use and interoperability I’d be shoveling money at them. This is what we all wanted Corsair’s link system to be and they half baked that series of products by only making the fans chain-able. PLEASE, Hyte, open loop blocks and pumps!
For those of you that don't understand the Four Tet joke, there's an EDM producer named Four Tet and at every one of his shows it's become a meme where he plays the song Country Riddim by Hol. Not sure if Jay knew that but yeah that's the joke
This would be way cooler if it didn't require their LED strips to function. For someone like me who makes my own strips of varying lengths to fit builds I do for people this solution doesn't work as we can't use our rolls of LED's that we have. I'd buy their controller instantly if I could use what I've got, even if that means buying an adapter or 2 or however many I'd need from them. I know that the USB C connection is needed for the way it's working but I'd LOVE if they would either make a version that has standard 4 pin ARGB connectors or sold a cable that plugged into the hub that had 4 pin ARGB connectors on the other end. I realize we'd lose the ability to daisy chain but in some applications that's just fine. Heck I'd even buy the AIO instead of just the hub if they expanded the screen functionality to be stackable like Jay said.
Thanks, Jay This was a nice little surprise of a video. I like the innovations happening with all the daisy chaining tech. I'd love to see you, or you and your daughter, upgrade her pc with this cooler. Anyway, thanks again, guys. Love y'all.
RE: 4:05 . I get that because the pump is in the rad, you can technically put the CPU block at the top of the loop, because any air in the loop would not be accumulating in the pump chamber. However, any air in the loop would still accumulate in the CPU block. Wouldn't that create a warm spot at the top of the IHS?
I'm trying to get out of the Corsair environment... I wonder if this will be similar or close to performance compared to the iCue H150i Elite Capellix 360.
This was genuinely impressive. I might have gone for this if I didn't just build my system for Christmas lol. Maybe I'll revisit for my wife's rebuild lol

If Hyte made custom loop cooling parts with the same ease of use and interoperability I’d be shoveling money at them. This is what we all wanted Corsair’s link system to be and they half baked that series of products by only making the fans chain-able. PLEASE, Hyte, open loop blocks and pumps!
It's basically Lululemon of the PC world.
This is going in my next build for sure
What about performance and cooling. Is it better than 360 AIO?
no WAY HYTE dropped a reference to Four Tet playing Country Riddim at Cochella....legendary O_O
Glad to see i am not the only IT Freak expanding Ass size at the same rate as my Systems, Jay is a stooling nicely! :)
Not even finished the video yet AND I STILL WANT ONE SO BAD! GIMMIE THAT BIG BOY
The hit marker at the end made me literally LOL hard than I should have. Great editing Phil. I love it.
Congrats on 4 million subscribers!
I'm glad it had a separate device without the cooler. Nice design.
For those of you that don't understand the Four Tet joke, there's an EDM producer named Four Tet and at every one of his shows it's become a meme where he plays the song Country Riddim by Hol. Not sure if Jay knew that but yeah that's the joke
Thank GOD someone got this reference lol. If nobody in the comments mentioned it, I was about to unsubscribe lol.
might be tough to install into compact ITX cases.. but I love it
Hyte did what Corsair was trying to do with Link. True one cable to the motherboard!
Such a huge screen to just see one thing at a time is crazy
Thanks, Jay
This was a nice little surprise of a video.
I wonder if this will be similar or close to performance compared to the iCue H150i Elite Capellix 360.
wow, the hyte software alone convinced me to try out their stuff.
loving the shift to daisy chaining but i do hope they release a black, stealth version without the screen.
This was genuinely impressive. I might have gone for this if I didn't just build my system for Christmas lol. Maybe I'll revisit for my wife's rebuild lol
now we need the performance of the AIO
Missed opportunity to insert a clip of Shawn Wayans saying "but wait! There's more!" From Scary Movie in at 13:34 when Jay says, "but that's not all!" 😂
Very cool video, Hyte is doing interesting stuff recently.
Will we actually find out how well it cools?! 🙂🤷♂️
I need to get this system now. I can connect an RGB strip to my desk with this
This is cool as hell and awesome for those going for maximalist builds. It's not for me, but it's still cool seeing all the innovations being made in this space.
This is neat! Good work on this Hyte!
Hyte basically made their own version of the LINK system. Pretty sick.
