I already know this is gonna be a banger. I have a recommendation for this type of video. The 1993 Miami Dolphins. Dan Marino suffered a season ending injury early in the season. But backup Scott Mitchell took over and was just fine. Miami defeated Dallas in a rare snowstorm in Texas Stadium, in a game called the Leon Lett game. Look it up. That win catapulted the Dolphins to 9-2, and were in prime position to make a deep playoff run. They lost their last five games, including their last game in OT against the Patriots, and missed the playoffs. It's the biggest single season collapse in NFL history.

Chiefs fan here. We've been blessed with speed for the last 20 years (Hall, Charles, T. Hill). I will say though, on that play, there are two blatant blocks-in-the back that were not called.
What was also crazy is that the Vikings lost to the four worst teams that season. Just the week before the Cardinals game, they beat a Chiefs team convincingly that finished the regular season 13-3.
My favorite Vikings moment, “But why would you even ponder passing, you can take a knee and try a 56 yard field goal. THIS IS NOT DETROIT MAN, THIS IS THE SUPER BOWL!!!!
As a Giants fan I say thank you to the Cardinals for winning that game and losing the first overall pick to the Chargers who gave us Eli, I’m truly greatly that last play ever happened.
At least they aren't the 2020 Steelers. Started 11-0 only to lose 4 of 5 and then shit their pants against a team with no HC. Now they aren't even gonna make the playoffs.
I knew about the double 1st round picks farted away, I knew about the 4 superbowl losses in yay many years, I knew about wide left, and I knew about the Hail Mary, but this one I did not know about.
You missed the redemption clip that we often see at the end of these videos. In 2004, the Vikings started the season 5-1, only to once again fall apart, losing 7 of their last 10. But this time, they snuck into the playoffs with an 8-8 record, only to face off… against the superior Green Bay Packers. In the cold, wintry January weather, amidst horrible field conditions. Certainly, there was no hope for the Vikings. And yet… They won convincingly. Queue the clip of Randy Moss’ last touchdown, where he moons the Green Bay fans in the end zone.
One more thing you forgot to mention. Since they won the game, the Cardinals were now selecting third overall. Wanna guess who they picked? None other than Larry Fitzgerald himself. Ever heard of him?

Eli definitely would have refused to go the Cardinals, especially if they had lost that 8th game in a row and considering he wanted a big market team. Hell I think back then he'd have gone to the Jets before the Cardinals.
If you ask a Cardinals fan, I think they'd rather have this win and the guy they ultimately picked in that draft: Larry Fitzgerald. Sure, Eli won two Super Bowls, but there's no guarantee that the Cardinals would've been built the same way as the Giants to give Eli the chance to win both.
I hope you realize the vikings have beat you more times in the playoff then you have in the regular season against the vikings but I don't know if you're trying to seem disrespectful
Remember it was 1975, which was two years before the rules changed for pass interference. At that time, defensive backs could chuck a receiver all the way down the field. Anything less than a mugging was fair game. Who knows, that very play could have led to the rules change, giving us the pass-happy game we watch today.
Think of all the bad luck the Vikings have had, a “curse” perhaps and then think about how their NFC North neighbor hasn’t had even a fraction of that kind of success over the years…. Lions 🦁 are down bad. 😬😬😟😖

Look man, the Cards got Larry Fitzgerald out of that 3rd overall pick. Say what you will about Eli bringing those two Super Bowls to New York, but if I'm building a team I'd pick Fitz over Eli any day of the week (unless I'm specifically facing New England). No way Eli brings the Cards as close to a SB win as Fitz did in 2008
Even if Manning didn't go to the Cardinals, they would have still landed either Rivers or Big Ben who were the consensus top 3 QBs that year. Big Ben, 2 SBs and probably the best QB of that draft. Rivers was basically the Stafford of his generation trapped on a bad franchise putting up ridiculous numbers, and Eli 2x SB MVP who might be one of the clutchest QB I've ever seen play. L's all around the table lol.
For your next M.U.F.S, you should do it about the game played in a hurricane, the hugo bowl, It was Georgia southern v.s. middle Tennessee, the game was only 170 miles from the eye
PLEASE do the Josh McDaniels Broncos who started 6-0 and finished 8-8, and missed the playoffs to a "win and get in" finale game of the season against the 7-8 Chargers
Yea I think the Cardinals were fine with Larry Fitzgerald. They were so close to a super bowl in 2008 with Kurt Warner. But good video and sounds like a typical Minnesota season 😂 they only know pain
Eli Manning wouldn't have won SHIT with the Cardinals, it's laughable to even bring that up. Knowing what we know now, I can't imagine a franchise that would take an above average QB in Eli over an ATG receiver in Fitzgerald
I remember watching the Viks vs Cardinals with a Packers fan. I couldn't believe that shit. If that exact play happened today it would be an incomplete pass due to the receiver not landing in bounds. You weren't allowed to push a guy out of bounds back then. It was a judgement call left to the refs discretion.
You should do a video about the 1957 NFL championship that never happened. If you look at the game that happened before you will understand why I want the video.
You should do a video of 2007 and 2008 Detroit lions. In 2007 Detroit lions went 6-1 then missed the playoffs… then the next year 0-16.. Minnesota is sad but the lions tho🙄

The pain… the suffering… it all came back. Everything in just one video😭
As a Giants fan I say thank you to the Cardinals for winning that game and losing the first overall pick to the Chargers who gave us Eli, I’m truly greatly that last play ever happened.
We need a “What if? The Vikings beat the Cardinals?”
This is the most Vikings thing I've ever heard of
I got the most devious grin on my face reading the title as a Cardinals fan
As a giants fan, I really liked that shot of Eli holding up the Lombardi, nice touch 😌
0-3
As an Eagles fan, I still like that shot, because F the Patriots. :P
At least they aren't the 2020 Steelers. Started 11-0 only to lose 4 of 5 and then shit their pants against a team with no HC. Now they aren't even gonna make the playoffs.
Love the content always keep up the good work KTO🙌🏽👍🏽
Such an awesome moment. Was watching with a few Vikings fans, me a packer fan, and definitely enjoyed watching the vikings blow it like usual.
As a Vikings fan, I feel so much pain reliving all of this. But at least people know now.
I knew about the double 1st round picks farted away, I knew about the 4 superbowl losses in yay many years, I knew about wide left, and I knew about the Hail Mary, but this one I did not know about.
You can here the pain in that “NO!”
Never clicked so fast

4:33 even coming from a broncos fan this is an amazing play
If only Gary Anderson made that kick
You missed the redemption clip that we often see at the end of these videos.
In 2004, the Vikings started the season 5-1, only to once again fall apart, losing 7 of their last 10. But this time, they snuck into the playoffs with an 8-8 record, only to face off… against the superior Green Bay Packers. In the cold, wintry January weather, amidst horrible field conditions. Certainly, there was no hope for the Vikings. And yet…
They won convincingly.
Queue the clip of Randy Moss’ last touchdown, where he moons the Green Bay fans in the end zone.
Ahh yes. As a Vikings fan this ranks pretty high up there on our horrific endings to seasons board. Top 5 for sure.
One more thing you forgot to mention. Since they won the game, the Cardinals were now selecting third overall. Wanna guess who they picked? None other than Larry Fitzgerald himself. Ever heard of him?
KTO! Good to see a video from you tonight. And thank you for the SeatGeek code. Going to use it to get tickets for OL Reign vs Orlando Pride. Thanks KTO! 🙏🏻
07:32 "Luckily for Minnesota" Nope. Anything you perceive as lucky for the Vikings, is actually the worst possible scenario.
As a Packer fan hearing Paul Allen scream "NNNNOOOOOO" never fails to bring a smile to my face
As a Vikings fan ah should of went for it instead of kicking a field goal in the nfc championship game. Also that same year 4th and 26 in the divisional round.
His blair Walsh call compared to this one is exactly how Vikings fans were feeling
As a bears fan watching them lose this was heartbreaking but in a sort of shotenfreude type of way. It was a train wreck of a ending for vikings fans, and that noooo! Will forever live in my memory.
@@danielnelsonhighlights I felt bad about both of those, but then I look at 4 Lombardi Trophy's and I don't feel so bad. I guess you don't get to do that.
@@GodDamnitTwitch I honestly didn’t remember that int at all! In my defense I was 7 but I remember the onside kick and game winning touchdown perfectly. And waiting for the refs to come out and say he pushed off or didn’t get both feet down. But props to Tillman wasn’t at all a good enough throw but you still never seen a corner come down with a 50-50 ball against moss
It’s outstanding how well you are with storytelling. I can’t watch a single video without getting chills multiple times.
I’ve been a cardinal fan since birth(thanks to my dad lol) I remember being confused and he was losing his mind when Poole caught that pass. Also even though we lost the first pick I’m still glad we chose Fitz 🙏🏽
Randy Moss averaged 100 yards and 1 touchdown per game in 2003.
Great video, definitely an underrated moment in nfl history. I’m surprised I never knew this happened, but that’s why I love your vids!
That dude shouting "NO! NO!" on that Cardinals Hail Mary is still used as a soundbite for the local sports station in Minneapolis to this day.
KTO you’ve been goin hard on the uploads!! You’re the best TY!!!
Vikings fan here, I know this vid will hurt even before watching...
The call on the cards touchdown is hilarious 😂😂😂 even the ANNOUNCER couldn't believe it.
Charles Peanut Tillman! 🥜 Super underrated! Great video as always KTO
KTO, what up! We are waiting for the Bishop Sycamore Bizarre story!
Another thing that this video reminded me of is that josh McCown played for a long f*cking time lol
Paul Allens classic "caught touchdown" sound like his same call for the Minneapolis Miracle
Gus Frerotte, now THERE'S a name I haven't heard in forever
I remember being the stands that day. A 11 year old thinking man the Cardinals just ruined their season, yep this is my team for life!!! Awesome memory for me not so much for you Viking fans lol. Awesome content as always, keep up the good work!!!
I remember this game for 12 year old me crying and having a meltdown that rivaled the Vikings' own. Very memorable season for me and he definitely did great job capturing it, I got chills.
Eli definitely would have refused to go the Cardinals, especially if they had lost that 8th game in a row and considering he wanted a big market team. Hell I think back then he'd have gone to the Jets before the Cardinals.
Every time I feel down, I listen to Paul Allen’s call of that play. Never fails to cheer me up
The cardinals still won, they got Larry Fitzgerald
this better not happen to the cards
Was just think about the cards, it shouldn’t.
Tuf for the Vikings
I hope you realize the vikings have beat you more times in the playoff then you have in the regular season against the vikings but I don't know if you're trying to seem disrespectful
Nah but I did rush for six on them
@@alvinkamara514 against the practice team 😂
@@Rahmations The last time someone scored 6 rushing tds Bill Belicheck wasn’t even born yet
@@Rahmations someone’s toxic
this is quite the complicated math equation:
Vikings + Cardinals + (Choke * Draft Picks) = 2(Giants Winning Super Bowl)
That block in the back at 4:11 is one of the most blatant and easily seen, with a ref looking right at it. How did they miss that?
There were 2 or 3 other blocks in the back that didn't get called on that play.
Remember it was 1975, which was two years before the rules changed for pass interference. At that time, defensive backs could chuck a receiver all the way down the field. Anything less than a mugging was fair game. Who knows, that very play could have led to the rules change, giving us the pass-happy game we watch today.
@@VinceLyle2161 It was 2003 and it was a kick off return, not a pass play.
@@kalel33 My mistake. I thought you were talking about the Hail Mary to Drew Pearson.
The browns won so few games during this time that I actually REMEMEBER that cardinals game from 03
As a Bears fan this video brings me great joy, specifically Peanut's interception
Same thing to a Packers fan =)
We went through something similar in 2020 so it all comes around, but at least we came back from that 6 game stint by blowing out bad teams.
As a Cardinals fan, we would have wasted either Eli Manning or Philip Rivers, so I'm glad we got Fitz instead.
KTO!! Keep up the good work
Think of all the bad luck the Vikings have had, a “curse” perhaps and then think about how their NFC North neighbor hasn’t had even a fraction of that kind of success over the years…. Lions 🦁 are down bad. 😬😬😟😖
Paul Allen's call of Tillman's end zone interception is maybe the most epic ever.
"A 6'1" rookie *ROBBED* Randy Moss...like a thief in the night."
Ahhh yes. The season ending trap game.
Listening to Viking radio announcer Paul Allen lose his shit makes me laugh every time 😂😂😂😂
It's tough being a Vikes fan. 34 years in and I question my sanity.
Better than being a fan of my trash ass lions 🤦
This felt like the OG KTO videos wow great work
4:38 I remember this play. I been a diehard fan ever since. And I'm from mpls. And yeah I watched that last game. I missed the whole 1998 season due to working but I remember the flags 🏳 on the cars the we going to Miami remix 😔😟🙁😥
Moss played basketball and he definitely showed his point guard skills in that game against the Broncos right before the half.
Cardinals drafted Larry Fitzgerald though, so I don’t think that win costed them too much
Thanks for the content my man, know it can be a grind sometime, but thanks cause I love you're Vids brother.
For your next M.U.F.S, you should do it about the game played in a hurricane, the hugo bowl, It was Georgia southern v.s. middle Tennessee, the game was only 170 miles from the eye
Dude, no joke your videos are incredible. I can feel the passion and hours of research that go into them.
As a bears fan,I am sooo sorry to all the Vikings fans out there,no fanbase deserves this amount of pure hell
Except Seattle.
The 2016 Vikings went 5-0 and also collapsed completely and missed the playoffs. And I’m a Vikings fan! 😭
that dante hall punt return is still crazy to md
