Hey Kyle and Amanda, pretty cool to get your voices coming out of separate speakers, you must have changed something, noticed it last week too. So, first off, Kyle I think Amanda follows directions pretty well, you asked her to give it to you and she followed your arm with the stun umbrella even as you were pulling away, "Oww, Geez"! Yes, always have additional self-defense techniques because good old Hollywood will make you think that a stun gun knocks the person out cold, not. That's only in the movies. The coin purse is awesome, I love how it fits and its effectiveness, plus I have too many pennies home. While Amanda can whack you good, I think Mel would have broken a bone, good call. Three for three with the marker, that's a great concealed tool. If there was time, I'd put the cap on the back to extend the grip, but that thing is awesome. Four for four with the cap, love it. I'd add that a straight strike down the center of the perp's face preferably at the bridge of the nose is going to cause pain, tears, and maybe a bonus broken nose blood down the throat effecting breathing. Not the end of the fight, but a great start. Sour cream in the shower, I'll have to run that by the wife, thanks. Pepper spray pen and the cane, also awesome. Put that Wing Chun dummy up for sale, Karate Mart fans will love it. Until next time, really great video, some stuff I'm getting from you, as for local laws, eventually they make too many then people won't follow any of them, this is human nature. See you next week!!! One additional note, I go to the community tab but last week and this week's items aren't listed to vote on.
Hey brother! I completely agree with everything you said. Unfortunately, the community tab only allows you to vote on up to 5 items, so the last couple of weeks, I’ve had people vote in the comments. I really appreciate all your support, my brother! Have an awesome week!
Wow this is super ironic!! I was just thinking about some other possibilities for hidden weapons and i intended to go back to the Weapons Wednesday Playlist just to look and noticed this was the theme for the next video! So awesome!!! Cant wait for this one, Kyle! Hipe your 4th of July is going great, brother!! Catch you all soon it looks like 👍
Happy 4th!! i like the permanent marker best. could really overwhelm an assailant in close quarters with multiple fast jabs from that. carrying in hand, walking to car at night, someone tried to grab you from behind, hits to their thigh or lower torso area could really do some quick neutralizing damage. thanks for posting 🤙🏾
Thank you! Happy 4th to you as well, my friend! Excellent choice! You clearly have some knowledge of self-defense! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Hey Karate, I am wondering if you got any knowledge regarding shields / vests I know of Kevlar and graphene, But I have no idea what the best choices are. And what’s currently on the market. I am looking for one that stops bullets and I know bulletproof doesn’t mean the bullet stops, Thanks in advance!!
That’s an excellent question! We don’t plan on carrying those on KarateMart.com, but I have been researching manufacturers for www.Kombativ.com. As you mentioned, different types of vests and shields are effective against different calibers. As of right now, I’m not very knowledgeable on them, but I’m sure I will be at some point. Thanks so much for watching and for your excellent question!
The cane and the cap both seem really nice, inconspicous, and good ideas, and would normally be my picks as favorites. BUT, I don't carry a cane or wear caps, so for actual most useful to me, I'd probably go coin purse or pepper spray. The umbrella stun gun just seems like it could easily make you stand out, which goes against the idea of a disguised or concealed weapon. Where I live, if someone is walking around with an umbrella on their belt or hanging around their wrist or whatever and it's not supposed to rain that day, that's something out of the ordinary, it will definitely stand out and be noticed by people even if their minds don't immediately think "hidden weapon". And if you actually are expecting rain, are you gonna carry both a real umbrella for the rain and a fake one? Walking around with 2 umbrellas would look pretty weird too. And if you only carry the fake one, and the rain actually starts, if you're walking around with a closed umbrellla...again, even if the person doesn't assume it's a weapon, they're still gonna take extra notice of you and think something's out of the ordinary at least.
Another awesome video, I liked he sap cap, easy to use and insconspicuous. Amanda seems to enjoy stunning you and hitting you way too much lol, just kidding, but its good to see her in the videos. Shout out to Amanda, love the star wars shirt, and when will Kyle stun you? But love watching you and appreciate the torture you go through to test the weapons out. Have an awesome week everyone.
I really like the cane as well! Shanna, it really means a lot to me that you and your husband support me the way you do. Thank you so much for being wonderful people!
I definitely would go for the sword cane (even though its a cutlass) I need a cane for my knee troubles anyway especially with the cap (going to print the logo of the football team I'm going to buy on it)
Thanks Gabrielle! I can’t guarantee they can penetrate through all materials (rubber, etc), but we’ve tested quite a few of the stun guns out on clothing and they have always been able to penetrate through it just fine. Have an excellent week! Thanks so much for watching!
@Karatemart thank you for the quick response. Ok, so will work on someone in plainclothes but not likely on the guy wearing a scuba suit 😂 Thanks again!
I think it's funny that you are the worlds nicest guy and you sell all these scary weapons. Now I'm going to be saying "That would be AWESOME" all day.
Lol…it is pretty funny because ever since I was a child, I’ve had a fascination for weapons, but I have never been a person who carries one. I just love them for what they are. I hope you are having an excellent weekend, my friend!
My pick was the hat it is something I would have with just about everywhere I would go then the. Marker is my second choice for the appearance of a writing device that I normally always have on me also. I hope your arms feel better soon. You're arms take a good beating on this video as always awesome and great info through self pain
I see the sap cap has grown on you. In an earlier video, you were less favorable towards it. I personally love it. It goes everywhere with me. I bought a few things off of Karate Mart, but as far as EDC goes I'm carrying the sap cap and the wooden defense cane.
Awesome, Bob! You’re right, the Sap Cap grew on me a lot over the last couple of years. You’ve got a great memory! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Nothing like breakfast and the first youtube vid of the day is: Kyle and the lovely KarateMart Crew!! excellent presentation!! Todays' analysis is quite difficult to choose; thinking along the lines of carrying permanent markers that 'spike' would be well suited!! It's very discrete and blends in well daily use items!! That'll be my pick but lets not stop there!! As a novice stilophile, think I'll be getting that mace pen as well; just remembering not to offer it as a writing utensil!! It is very inconspicuous and hopefully it has a bump on the spray-cap indicting which way is out!! If not Mr Dremel will be summoned! The next time I see a bowl of sour cream and chives, I hope like heck I'm not eating a baked potato!! Awesome episode!!
Thanks Brother! Your support means the world to me! I agree with everything you said. I believe the pepper spray pen top had a divot in it which made it easy to know which direction you were going to spray, but I love your thinking! I hope you have an incredible week, my friend!
Hello my good friend, going back and see what I’ve missed during my absence! A favorite weapons topic. The sword cane if a well made one piece shank and handle would be my selection. Would like very much to visit your store for a hands on selection. I used to live In Tucson and recently returned from Flagstaff area, why I ask What city are you in Tucson or Phoenix?
Thanks for returning! I’m glad to have you back! We are online only at www.karatemart.com, so we don’t really have a showroom or retail store or anything. However, there is a KarateMart retail store in Phoenix under completely different ownership that may have some things you are interested in. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
@Karatemart considering I am now using a cane..... I think I might buy that one to add to my collection. And put it in rotation. I already have a city stick from cold steel.
Sword and gun canes were used in Victorian England but they were banned over here a few years back. As for the SAP caps a more nasty version were used by gangs in 1920s Birmingham as featured in a show you may have heard of in the States called 'Peaky Blinders.' Of course Birmingham was famous for Cadbury chocolate bars (now owned by Hersey). Finally may I wish you all a happy Independence Day with a question, where did the Pilgrim Fathers come from? Please don't say the Mayflower!
You are very knowledgeable! I’ll have to watch Peaky Blinders to see what types of caps they were using. I’m guessing the answer you are looking for is “England”. Am I wrong? I hope you are having an awesome week, my friend!
Hi Oliver, it depends which one you bought. If you are referring to the solid aluminum hexagon escrima, those things can take some pretty major abuse, so they should be fine. Please feel free to contact our customer service team anytime. Have an awesome week, my friend!
You’re right! A strike to the nose would be extremely effective too! Sure, you could add anything to it, but then it wouldn’t technically be a coin purse. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Thanks for the video. I was amused at your centering yourself before Amanda stunned you. I'm not a great talker in real life. I can write, but I'm a slow talker. Even so, if an attacker stops to center himself before an attack, I think I have a chance of defending myself by talking him into going somewhere for ice cream instead of attacking me. My other odd thought was to wonder whether the "high density impact material" in the Self-Defense SAP Cap would also function to keep the government from shooting rays into one's skull. If so, this cap could be an impact weapon and replace those ugly tin foil hats for keeping the government from beaming bad thoughts into one's head. On a more serious note, I would worry that whatever is inside the pocket in the cap would heat up too much on a hot day. If that happened, this cap might become a bad choice. I would even worry that the material would become uncomfortably cold on a cold day. If the company doesn't have much success with this thing as a sap cap, maybe they can replace the high density impact material with those water beads. Then, someone could dip the hat in water before going outside on a hot day and get cooling through the water beads. I've worn the cooling neck things that have those beads. I like that the sword cane has a length of just over thirty-seven inches. That's about the length that I like on my canes. I agree that there is an advantage to the shorter blade length for drawing the blade. In a real situation, I would be tempted to jab an attacker with the regular tip of the cane to get a little more distance before drawing the blade. The problem would be that the attacker might grab the rest of the cane and end up with that part of the cane to use in attack. That's a tough call. If the attacker didn't get the rest of the cane, I would like the idea of dual-wielding the stick portion with one hand and the blade with the other. I think most traditional rapiers are "cut-and-thrust" swords, so they would have a cutting edge. The shape of the blade doesn't make cutting as efficient as thrusting, but drawing a rapier's edge across an opponent will produce a serious cut. With a blade like this, one would need to remember to thrust only. I've heard that many people in a panic will slash with whatever weapon they have instead of using thrusts. The pistol-grip handle on this one might encourage thrusting more than panicked slashing. If I'm evaluating these from a purely "hidden weapon" perspective, I lean towards the Permanent Marker Spike as my favorite. I think that one is the most hidden and least complicated. Whenever possible, I prefer self-defense weapons that don't require batteries and that won't run out of some material that is necessary for usage. The spike will last forever in its intended role. One could keep it on one's body easily enough without drawing attention. My second choices are the Coin Purse Slap Jacks. They aren't too obtrusive. As Amanda said, they look a little bit like cell phone holsters. They are simple and don't require anything else working correctly. The weakness is that one needs to land the strike and land it effectively. That would be a challenge for many people in many situations. I wish that they had a spring in the handle area. A light spring wouldn't keep them from bending and snapping shut and would give them a little more of a traditional sap feel. In terms of effectiveness for anybody, the Hidden Pepper Spray Pen is a great choice for the traditional self-defense scenario. The pen will have enough spray to stop a single attacker. Over the past few years, I've thought in terms of multiple attackers, but many attacks involve one thug trying to hurt one innocent person. If the spray gets that person out of the situation, that's what matters. The problem with the umbrella is that in places that don't get much rain, carrying an umbrella becomes conspicuous. In places that do get rain, one needs an umbrella that functions as an umbrella. Again, carrying two suddenly makes a person look odd. I'm also less enamored with self-defense tools that require batteries. Having said all of that, I agree that the idea is really cool. I'll also repeat that you need to develop the stun gun equivalent of ballistic gelatin. That would give us an objective understanding of effectiveness and save you from being stunned so often. The best use for the Self-Defense SAP Cap might be against aggressive dogs. If one is bothered by a dog and uses a real stick, people become angry. Slapping the dog with a baseball cap doesn't look at mean, but if the cap is weighted and dazes the dog for a moment, the dog might decide that being aggressive isn't such a great idea. In many ways, I think I'd like that cane design more if it didn't have the sword. I like the idea of a traditional cane shape in fiberglass-reinforced nylon. A traditional cane made of those materials and sold at a lower price would be nice. Of all of these, the sword cane would be the easy choice in the creepy-clown-in-a-haunted-house scenario. Often, there's no substitute for range.
Ouch hope you're feeling better today because all of those look like they would hurt. I don't care for the stuff that were disguised and couldn't function as what they were disguised as. I had to choose one I will choose the coin purse. Although a drawstring would be much better to access the coins. The cap is also a good one however i prefer the practicality of a bump cap insert over, can the weigh pocket be accessed to used as a cache. I really like the wazoo hats for that but don't like their logo is stitched instead of a patch
Cheers Kyle and Amanda. belated Happy 4th of July. Good thing the the Almighty gave you durability 😁. Thought all of them were really good. Like the cane, as a fencer. As things get worse, the less I'm caring about laws. Die or go to jail🤔. But as an old country boy, like the cap. And I'm good at smacking with a hat. So I pick the cap. Question I have is, is the cap ventilated?. Like you, I live in a desert. Lastly, check the edges of your coins, see if solid silver, money money Money. Weapons Wednesday is still my favorite day of the week. You two stay Awesome. Slan go foill ☘️
Happy 4th to you as well, Shawn! I’ll have to look at my coins to see if there is any silver in there! The SAP cap isn’t vented, but it still seems really comfortable on my head in the Arizona heat. I really hope you are having a fantastic week, my friend! You always brighten my day!
1974? You look way younger than that! It’s probably because you give off such a fun positive vibe that you see so much younger. I really hope you have a very Happy Birthday, my friend!
Watching a big dude like you, suffering unspeakably pain by a petite woman (Hi Amanda!!) is the best advertising for the effectiveness of your products.
Poor wang chung. If you can't replace the arm, give him a proper viking-ish funeral. Maybe not floating out to sea and arrow fire. But a Good bon fire 🔥 send off. He deserves a proper send off for years of faithful service. 😊.
I wish that you could design a dummy that looks like a real human being. A dummy that has proportions of a real human being. It could also have pressure points on it. I also would like to see a dummy that can measure force. The arms & legs should be movable (and also proportional limbs) ).
Love the canesword, pepper spray, and the change purse. Change purse for some punk that ain't armed that tries to grab you. If the assailant is armed with a knife or club type weapon, burn his eyeballs and spray inside the mouth and move. The sword cane gives you a choice of beating, or killing. So I would wear all three of those.
Man, Kyle, I dig your videos. I love Weapons Wednesdays. I'm finishing building my cabin, and right after I'm going to do a road trip and one day I will show up like a shiny new coin and buy some stuff from y'all and bring you one of mine.
That’s a great question, David! Of the ones we carry on KarateMart.com, my favorite is probably this one: www.karatemart.com/hammered-steel-katana I just really love the look of it and it held up really well to my testing. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Hey kyle. Great video going for double abuse. Wow Amanda really burnt you with the stun gun. Ouch. Then to get slapped how did the arm feel at the end of the day I like the cap. Nice and easy. However my favorite has to be the sword cane. Just for the design and it's looks really durable. Plus it took off a arm on the wing chun dummy. Have a great week. Amanda you go girl. Zappy zapp
Thanks brother Kyle! You could see a little bruise on my arm the next day after recording this, but it wasn’t a big deal. Thanks for all your support, my friend. Maybe it’s because we both have the “Kyle” connection, but you are definitely one of my favorite people I speak to on these videos. Have an awesome week, my friend!
What about jogging at the night Umbrella Disguised Stun Gun. What about at night at Walmart groceries in the cart and robbing us. Self-Defense SAP Cap but women mess up there hair. Coin Purse Slap Jack. I can go on and on. I'll pick Self-Defense SAP Cap . What about monkeys slap coming in ball??
If i were 10 years old youd be a fucking superhero ninja guy lol.. thanks for the memories..do you have a ninja outfit you could wear while doing this please?
lol, Jason! I’ve actually worn ninja uniforms in previous videos, but only to show how to put them on. Thanks so much for your support! It means a lot to me!
After this episode kyle will be called Bruised Lee 😂
Hahahaha! Well played, my friend!
🤣🤣 That was quite witty I must admit! Haha.
Amanda has a dream job. She gets to work with various weapons and gets to take out her frustrations on the boss. Nice!
I’m very lucky to have her! She is an incredible person! Thanks so much for watching, Eric! I really appreciate it!

Nice brolly stun gun...... 4 years in the UK.😅
The sword cane definitely has my vote without hesitation!

My husband and I both like the cane. I have to use a cane to get around anyway so it would be a very convenient self defense tool.
I really like the cane as well! Shanna, it really means a lot to me that you and your husband support me the way you do. Thank you so much for being wonderful people!

The blade in the cane is more like a smallsword blade, which couldn't cut than a rapier blade, which can.
Thanks so much for watching!
Amanda is enjoying this way to much 😅😅😅
She definitely does! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I live that sword cane.... I might just add it to my cane collection
It’s definitely one of the best sword canes I’ve tested. I hope you are having an excellent week, my friend!

Quick question that is nothing about the video. I bought a hexagon escrima stick and I was wondering if it is durable enough to hit a tree with it?

That is the one I bought, thank's for telling me because I wasn't sure to buy that one or the steel escrima
Ps: you have a good week also
Happy 4th of JULY KYLE

A SAP cap to the nose
Can you add rocks or marbles to the coin purse? Lol
You’re right! A strike to the nose would be extremely effective too! Sure, you could add anything to it, but then it wouldn’t technically be a coin purse. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
I've heard of various things being used in the coin purse, metal washers, nuts(as in nuts and bolts, not peanuts lol), lead or steel shot, etc.
Cane is my favorite
Excellent choice, my friend!
Wow…that was one of your best breakdowns yet! I just love how your mind works. I hope you have an excellent week, my friend!
That hat is gonna be my new daily
Nice! It has a cool looking style to it. I hope you are having an excellent week!
@@Karatemart thx you 2
Ouch hope you're feeling better today because all of those look like they would hurt.
Thank you so much, Andrew! I hope you have an excellent weekend!
@@Karatemart 🖖☘️
Amanda has the best job. What other job do you get to tazer your boss, and hit them as well.
Amanda is the best! I couldn’t run the business without her!
The mostest dangerous toughest weapon is Kyle!
Is that you, Kevin??😂😂😂
I love canes
Me too! Thanks so much for watching!
Kyle has returned from whence he went. Now he shall wince once again as the weapons he doth bravely face!
Lol…you crack me up, my friend! I’ve gotta check out your new videos. Your creativity always makes me smile!
@@Karatemart thank you g hope they are worth it I've been slacking on content lately 😂
Kyle... 1) I was born in 1974
2) My birthday is in a few days
3) How did I get older than you? I'm sure you do more adulting I do😂
1974? You look way younger than that! It’s probably because you give off such a fun positive vibe that you see so much younger. I really hope you have a very Happy Birthday, my friend!
@@Karatemart thank you! Milk it does a body good? Or maybe I just forgot to age?
😂.
@@Karatemart I hope to have a good birthday. I have no plans yet but we shall see...
I want the Cain sword it would be easy to hide the sword back as a Cain again.
It is one of the best sword canes I’ve tested. Have an awesome week, my friend!
Watching a big dude like you, suffering unspeakably pain by a petite woman (Hi Amanda!!) is the best advertising for the effectiveness of your products.
Lol…I think she really enjoys it too! Thanks so much for watching, Tito! I really appreciate it!
Poor wang chung. If you can't replace the arm, give him a proper viking-ish funeral. Maybe not floating out to sea and arrow fire. But a Good bon fire 🔥 send off. He deserves a proper send off for years of faithful service. 😊.
I love that idea, Stan! So awesome! I hope you are having an excellent week, my friend!
I think you need a new Wing Chun Dummy!
Agreed!
I bet Amanda loves her job after all not every job let's you stun your boss😊
We love her as well! She is an excellent manager! Thanks so much for watching, William! I really appreciate it!
I wish that you could design a dummy that looks like a real human being. A dummy that has proportions of a real human being. It could also have pressure points on it. I also would like to see a dummy that can measure force. The arms & legs should be movable (and also proportional limbs)
).
Maybe one day, Dana!
They are all pretty awesome, Tony! Thanks so much for your continued support, my friend. It means a lot to me!
Man, Kyle, I dig your videos. I love Weapons Wednesdays. I'm finishing building my cabin, and right after I'm going to do a road trip and one day I will show up like a shiny new coin and buy some stuff from y'all and bring you one of mine.
The cane guess im getting little older.
Excellent choice, Donald! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
What is your absolute favorite sword if you were to have to Carry one?
That’s a great question, David! Of the ones we carry on KarateMart.com, my favorite is probably this one: www.karatemart.com/hammered-steel-katana
I just really love the look of it and it held up really well to my testing. Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
Hey kyle. Great video going for double abuse. Wow Amanda really burnt you with the stun gun. Ouch.
Then to get slapped how did the arm feel at the end of the day
I like the cap.
I vote the combat club
Excellent choice, Paul! I love that club! Thanks so much for watching!
You smack someone in the nose with that cap and it will get their attention!
That’s very true! Thanks so much for watching! I hope you are having an excellent weekend!

Those are excellent question, Alan! I think the SAP cap is an excellent choice! Have an awesome week, my friend!
Does it slash at all ?
Hi! This specific blade is designed to be a sturdy stabbing blade and is not meant for slashing. Thanks so much for watching!
Bye bye Mr. Wang Chung dummy time to get another one maybe a mr. Wang Chung dummy jr.
Lol…it’s definitely time to get a replacement!!! Thanks so much for watching! I really appreciate it!
