The idea of having concealed pockets with essential tools like handcuff keys is genius and could truly be a game-changer in dire situations.
yeah buddy!
FKING BRILLIANT!!!
No idea how you got into my feed with so few subscribers, great luck for me though! Great thinking, looking forward to more of your insight and ideas.
Get the smaller plastic cuff keys, easier to hide and won't trip a metal detector. Sew them into the hems of your pants with a way to get them out easily, or inside the back of waist. And get a ceramic razor blade or some thin kevlar cord strung between non magnetic finger loops to cut your way out of other things.
Exactly! Ceramic blade for zip ties or rope!
This is a good idea for creating internal pockets in general. I should use some scrap fabric and super glue to make some magazine pockets.
for sure, lots of options for internal pockets
oh man...my wife is going to hate me when she keeps finding random keys in the washing machine. Now I'm seeing you addressed this....well done
I mentioned in the video after 3 years I have not lost a single key in the washer or dryer. if you use good velcro and thread you shouldn't loose any keys in the wash.
Thank you
Underated channel that gives out solid information.
Simple and eficient ! Very goog!
Good video. I look forward to seeing more content. I have also liked & subscribed. Thank you.
Fantastic idea!
Great ideas. Thank you. Subscribed!
Thank you!
Good stuff, Thanks! liked and subscribed.
you should sell the small pockets in packs of four or bulk.
That's some next level spy craft, thanks for posting
Good info, which most EDC people haven't even thought about.... Thanks for info!!!!
I just use my safe word.
Interesting points
EXCELLENT INFORMATION AND VIDEO I SUBSCRIBED
Excellent presentation. Liked, subscribed, and rang that bell.
P.S. Those Google spider algorithms are what sent me here. I watch a lot weapons and EDC videos; in my regard I think it was the "EDC" that caught Google's attention.
very smart
The bike is a nutter!
Somehow you were in my feed and I am glad you showed up. Now subscribing.
I always had a natural sewing ability ever since I was a little girl, at 6 yrs old I even had a Holly Hobbie Sewing machine (banned these days because of a moving sewing needle) I was making barbie clothes.
I was a young mum having my son at 17.
When my son was in yr 9 high school in 2003 (aged 14), he asked me to sew some stash pockets for him & boy did go hard, I made little stash pockets all over his pants & tops, small pockets in the cuffs, behind brand names & pictures on his tops & bigger stash pockets all the way down the seam edge of his pants & ofcourse those tiny pockets around the waistband of jeans & pants just like in this video.
I thoroughly enjoyed making those alterations aswel as seeing him make use of those pockets.
Like Chinese whispers, I realise news travels far (&sometimes changed), I often wonder how many people & how far the idea of my son's stash pockets go to, that was told by his friends

Hey, I have been watching youtube since it began and not boasting when I say (as an insomniac) I have probably watched more videos than anyone... this video you have made is one of my top 10 most important and appreciated videos ever!!! Thank you so much!

(Would you please provide me with links for the other items you showed for carry... thanks)
Thank you for such a kind comment
So you have been watching UA-cam since it began yet you joined two years ago?
@@andrewvautour1795 No, as you are or probably should be well aware of the fact that youtube is famous for dropping the ball and not helping people reconnect to a channel they have had for years and the total frustration with people who can't do a job they applied for and were hired to do... so, yeah my only recourse was to create a new channel and after being ignored and treated badly by youtube, I decided not to continue to make videos to help youtube make money. I'm in my 70's. :)
@@bop5277 ha ha ha, yes, totally understood! UA-cam can be hard to deal with I get that, all the best to you Bob!
@@andrewvautour1795 LOL! BOP not BOB
Man after my own heart. Good video.
Thanks brother!! Very informative and helpful
Just subbed! Awsome video! I would definitely keep the keys for handcuffs and the blade for rope or duck tape cutting because alot of people have those more accessible than handcuffs
Great idea, glad I found your channel.
Bro I’m lucky to have come by this vid. Bro ur on point Ty for sharing
Thank you and it is also a good topic and i also agree it is not many preppers who are talking about this. And i believe the reason for that is they didn´t thought about it before. By the way i´m new to your channel and i also subscribed to you as well.
Thank you sir, I appreciate that. I see you have a prepping channel as well so I subscribed to your channel also.
@@JurassicPrepper Yes i have my own prepping channel as well. And thank you i appreciate it
I am always sewing and altering things. This is going to be standard for me now . Thanks.
Linked cuffs can be broken at the swivel with little effort or practice, if the key hole is opposite your hand side or you cannot shim.
in order to meet NIJ standard, cuffs have to withstand at least 495 foot pounds of force, would be difficult for even a body builder to muster this while in the cuffed position. there are many ways you can pick cuffs though or cut through them with a diamond wire saw.
I assure you, it's really simple, I've personally wasted a good pair of Peerless cuffs because I thoght that too!
I'll have to find a video to see how this is done, like ripping a phone book in half I suppose
👍👍👍
Nice job. Do you have a link to the keys?
the metal keys I got off amazon in 50 key bulk pack
Bad actors... is Nicholas Cage running amuck? 🤣 This it a great tip
that's a great comment lol
Great video. I like how you think. I’m going to check out some of your other videos. I hope you continue to make more videos.
thank you, just started on UA-cam with only 4 videos but will have more up soon
Houdini was one of my heroes growing up....
I'm sure he could pick all kinds of locks in record speed
very clever.
I'm very interested in knowing where to purchase all the material from the third row at minute 2.50. Thank you.
This brand dont have any of those items. If there is a name of the items, I can find it...
you can also try this place shomer-tec dot com
Beautifully done. Nice to see a practical tradecraft setup. I love that you mentioned the SD card. Especially if you flashed a complete os designed for counter intelligence and digital radio coms. All on 256gb. Turns any PC into a personal Ops station.
I'll have to get a copy of this OS for digital radio coms
The great Algorithm doesn't like me giving the name. It's Linux based but lots of help is available online. Look for dragon.
Oh UA-cam A I. How I loathe thee. Can't get much more info for you on this platform.
I understand, gotta respect the algorithm, I'll find a copy of the system. would be good to have on hand.
Hmm....there once was a Dragon O s-ay that would frighten every one away. But it was easy to tame with lots of help online.
There is a droid named rufus that could put things on a disc.
To read what is written you will have to change the boot to boot to the U S and B first.
Let's see A.I figure that one out.
I think of force multiplyer as weapons . I carry skally wag tactical MDV+1 in a front pocket an i carry other knives or improvised weapons in dif places . off grid knives is a good place also they are both vet owned . skally wag has a good dagger also.
Ive considered purchasing that skally wag knife. I also like the Spyderco Street Beat and ESEE Izula
If you get it get the rhino sheath becareful they are wicked sharp get them on there blem sale.@@JurassicPrepper
The only issue is see is that unless it is some form of official or even official security they won’t be using hand cuffs but more likely zip ties, which some you can break. I actually carry 150 lbs breaking strength which you are not going to break by hand. So along with a key some form of small knife( ceramic?) or Kevlar cord might be prudent.
agreed, the small razor blade featured in the video is ceramic and will cut zip ties but I have another cord method of cutting through zip ties, ducktape and rope that I will share in a future video
Done something similar to what you did. Glad to see "like minds".
Nice!, necessity the mother of inventions
What is the name and web address for the boxes of survival food behind you?
thats the LDS church food storage, you can order online. Also discussed in the book Lights Out by Ted Koppel. Will do a video that includes this food in a future video
Can you link something about the mini escape saw/blade combo pls?
My helikon pants already had that pocket.
the 2 front pistol mag pouches? do those also have velcro closure or no?
@@JurassicPrepper Yep but without velcro closure.I'm talking about utp polycotton canvas model.
My only concern is that not all handcuff keys work on handcuffs. This was something that I ran into when doing prisoner transports.
Just be cognizant of the contingency that you might not have the right key.
Also, you should have one in your ankle area. Shackles are real.
Are you referring to high security cuffs like those made by ASP? We can switch the key with one that works with a keyway blocking blade, but that is a very small market segment of the handcuff market. I'll mention cuff keys that bypass a blocking blade in a future video. Most cuffs are Peerless or Smith & Wesson standard double locking.

The "pros" will check for pockets. Probably take wallet, keys, phone, pen and pencil...

Great info, but according to FBI crime statistics, the US violent crime rate has fallen significantly in the last 3 to 4 years; and is still trending downward. Now, there are places where it has gone up, but overall, violent crime is down; especially, compared to 2019-2020. There are plenty of sources online that backed this up. Here is an excerpt from one such article: “In 2020, the United States experienced one of its most dangerous years in decades.
The number of murders across the country surged by nearly 30% between 2019 and 2020, according to FBI statistics. The overall violent crime rate, which includes murder, assault, robbery and rape, inched up around 5% in the same period.
But in 2023, crime in America looked very different.
"At some point in 2022 - at the end of 2022 or through 2023 - there was just a tipping point where violence started to fall and it just continued to fall," said Jeff Asher, a crime analyst and co-founder of AH Datalytics.
In cities big and small, from both coasts, violence has dropped.”
Did you catch that New York City now has 750 National Guard troops on duty in the subway system because violent crime has gotten so bad?
there's 5 kinds of handcuff keys, including the more rare type that's like the keys used in vending machines. So the key needs to be double-ended and the one that you wear in back needs to be different from the one you wear in front. If you're flexible, you can wriggle your arms down until you can get your feet between your legs and have your cuffed hands in front of you. With little cross-bar in the middle of the key, you can still rotate it. You dont need the double lock tip for ESCAPING from cuffs. That part is there to keep a cuffed suspect's wrists from being cut by the tightening of the cuffs when he tries to escape. Tha'ts the least of your worries when YOU are the one who's cuffed.
95% of the entire United States handcuff market actually consist of only 2 companies. Smith & Wesson and Peerless Handcuff Company. Both of which are normal double locking cuffs that open with both the traditional metal keys and plastic keys shown in the video. Less than 1% of all United States law enforcement use highly specialized cuffs like ASP High Security handcuffs.
James Macgyver Bond. 😂
Love it!
you dont cuff wey hole forward its key hole to back making it hard to reach
was keyhole forward for the camera...a pair of cuffs is about $25 to practice at home with...you can still self unlock with keyhole facing back just takes a hair longer...
If everyone knows the secret how can it still be a secret? Thanks UA-cam..😆
What if they use rope or zip ties?
then you would want to use the cord method with kevlar or UHMW cord. Will show this method in a future video.
I carry a copy of Psalm 91.
You should memorize it. It can never be taken from you.
Violent crime is not on the rise...
New York City just added 750 National Guard troops to patrol the subway systems because violent crime is getting so bad...
What do you mean again? Are you an asset?
All because of OPEN border fjb
Can u break outta zipties
yeah best way to do that is to use a kevlar or similar cord. will show that on zip ties, ducktape and rope in another video
