That phrase you said in the beginning really struck a chord with me: "Everything that we want in life is on the other side of that fear."

Persistence is the key, I’ve seen too many people quit when all they had to do was keep going.

Mental Toughness and bursting through Crippling Anxiety:
    FEAR CAN BE CRIPPLING:
FEAR Real Or Imagined Can be Crippling.
EVERYTHING WE WANT IS FOUND THROUGH FEAR:
Everything we want in life is in on the other side of that Fear. So Look at it as a pointer or indicator
    MENTAL TOUGHNESS:
    2 COMPONENTS
    1. How Do We Perform Well Under Pressure
    2. How to handle adversity and road blocks
    MENTAL TOUGHNESS:
    NO FEAR:
    N: NEVER GIVE UP
    ------------------------------
    - Never Give Up
    - You start the downward spiral when you begin to go through the motions
    - Being the best loser takes talent just like being the winner does.
    - Your Why has to make you cry
    O: Obstacle TO Opportunity.
    ------------------------------
-Take your Obstacle and make it into an Opportunity.
-Chris Chelios was cut twice and had no money to get back home and still made it.
-No Grain of sand No Pearl
    F: FOCUS
    --------------------------
    -Hyper Focus
-Take One Task and Hyper Focus and Get it Done
    E: rE: FOCUS
    -------------------------
-Let Go Of Mistakes and Refocus
-When you make a mistake GET BIG
    -Let it go And REFOCUS
    - Do something Physical To Refocus and Get Back in your POWER position.
    A: ATTITUDE GYAL!
    ------------------------
    -Nerves Vs Excitement
-Look at everything as a challenge instead of a problem.
    R: RESPOND Don't REACT
    -------------------------
    -Don't React Respond
    -Reaction is full of emotion.
    -Responding is Tactful and Smart

Here are a few ways to become mentally strong:
    1. Be giving/volunteer: Join a group and go to volunteer in a large scale disaster dedicating a week to doing nothing but helping others. Lifting others is always an uplifting experience and spending a week at your own expense to help others earning nothing but finding it to be a more rewarding experience than working for money as usual really frees us from capitalism. Spending a week living and working with people many of whom have lost everything including loved ones really helps us appreciate every single thing and every moment in life as well. The inner happiness from selflessly helping others in times of great need is one that stays with us forever.
    2. Fast: Study intermittent fasting to learn of the benefits of 48 hour or longer fasts. Fasting for days teaches us we’re stronger than we thought, both mentally and physically, including the mental challenge of fasting itself. Once we know we can fast and that fasting is healthy, controlling our weight and health become much easier.
    3. Fight sports: Learn fight sports of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), boxing, Muay Thai, kickboxing, wrestling, Judo, etc and actually spar, roll and compete on any level. Fight sports are wonderful for teaching both self-confidence as well as humility.
    4. Challenge yourself, always.

It is a warriors tale and worth reading about.

I am sure. It was the eye of the bird. When the 5 brothers all were training in the jungle with dronacharya. He asked each brother to hit the target , the eye of the bird sitting over the branch. And asked each one in succession "What do they see before them ?"
One said. I see the tree.
Other said. I see the the ground, the roots, trees whole jungle.

great video, whats the E word though? You said "re-focus" but I what am I missing please? I went through all the comments looking for what the word is as I took notes on this and nobody asked. Great content though!

Just looking at this guy's face and tone, I can't imagine he has any fear! Sometimes I wonder if the way we look really has an impact on our abilities. Look at Jocko Willink. The guy just looks like a bad ass. Are there any shrinking violets that look like that? Maybe your looks get developed by your actions and attitudes? I'd be open to hearing any opinions on this from the internet universe.

    Hi,
I play football (soccer) and have always struggled with confidence. I play amazingly with my friends at school however, when it comes to a game or even training, I always seem to play badly, way below my expectation of myself. I know that I can be better than most of the players I come up against and I know that I have trained longer and harder them, but, I never perform to my best. I have tried various mental toughness and confidence techniques and watched many videos, but they don't seem to be working. Can you help?

+Dr. Rob Bell Last week there were two penny stock one that went up 5700 percent APHD and one went 75 percent dirv. Had I had mental toughness I could have made money. For specifics Stock Trader have you done work with them. I am asking in general because this video it seems to me could apply to any endeavour.

Become so obsessed with reaching your goal so that the only thing you fear is failing.

Don’t fear failure it’s your friend, fear not trying, fear having regret about not giving it your all. This will inevitably push to your best self

He is on to something but let me simplify a little. Pain is necessary. Whenever life beats you to the ground, get right back up with a big ass smile on your face. Nothing pisses your enemies off more than a big fat smile. Make pain into your best friend in life. Embrace it. The thing is that once you accept pain, it isn't there anymore. It is already running for its life. What you do isn't important. It is how you do what you do that really matters. If you are baking a cake at this very moment, make sure it is the most badass motherfucking cake the world has ever seen and take it from there.
