if anyone needs info how to take the whole dash apart ask me I know where every single screw goes and take the whole dash apart in 30 min. the part where he took the window switch off is not safe it will deff leave scratches and down the road it will bug the hell out of u. best way is to remove the left or right vent next to the switch and push the plug from the back towards you that way u will not damage the panel.
Do I need to do all of this to get to the front speakers? I didn't see anywhere on this video that describes removing the panels for the front speakers?
Thanks. Some useful info in this video. Question: I am going to install the IPF backup light on a AEV bumper setup. How much trouble is it to mount the toggle switch in the center console? Do you have a video for removing the console? And do you think I can run all of my wiring from the console to the lights just along the floor under the carpet? Thanks for any help you can provide.
There is a panel on each side of the dash that pulls out. That should give you access to the speakers. This isn't my Jeep so I can't just go look at it. I'm pretty sure all of the steps in this video don't provide access to the speakers.
Good job... finally a DIY video that gets down to business and gets the information across quickly and accurately without a lot jabber. Thank you!
Thanks for the detailed video, you saved me a lot of time and frustration
Good work on sprinting around the jeep to keep the video flowing! I got a chuckle out of that.
Thank you for explaining the red pin part! All the other videos just didn’t explain this to a dummy like me
Thanks for this, just received my Oracle flush mount switches and needed this to help out with the install!!

@xdayonx Negative. I've got to many hours wrapped up in it. This is my buddies Jeep that we're building :-) The 2012's are nice.

Hello, I have installed a new radio in my car jeep Wrangler Sahara 2012and the radio is not working. Please help
Does anyone know what type of radio this is?
I’m so confused because my windows don’t have a red pin?
This kinda sucks, you gotta pull the dash apart just to get to the head unit. But i guess it keeps it water resistant.
Horrible camera angles...couldn't see what you were doing half the time!
I love the not for JK-Forum use!
