Your awesome m8. Not only do you teach people how to do stuff without forcing people to pay(which is amazing in of itself) but you tell people why you do that, which help people create mat/PBR's all by themselves
For Mixing 2 nodes: You can also use "CTRL-SHIFT Right Click on the first node" and than drag and drop the green line on the "second node". Very nice tutorial i had no idea you could create such amazing 3D stylized materials.
Far out! This is crazy awesome Ry! I gotta try this one. My Blender use has slackened off so much due to work commitments and I say...I have to make that time! Everyone must be so ahead who follows your tutes.
Work you do withyour channel is literaly amazing, outstanding. But most surprising thing to me is how you find out so many ideas that you are able to constantly create soo much nice videos?
Thanks for the tip! I will try to use that in the future. I don't use windows though, I use Linux. Although it looks like Linux uses F2 to rename things as well. 🙂 Thanks!
What denoiser do you use?? for only 10 samples your quality looks way better than mine in the viewport, the roughness part of the tutorial i can't seem to get any detail..
@@RyanKingArt I figured It out. Since I'm running on a 4k screen under Render Properties>Performance>Viewport>Pixel Size was set to automatic which is x2 meaning the viewport was half the resolution. I set that to 1x and now the viewport is crisp and detailed.
really epic tutorial, sir. is it possible to make hexagonal plates instead of sqaures ? hexagon is more sci fi i think, i would love to see if its possible, thanks sir ! this is legendary
Ahh yeah. If you look really close, you can see the sci-fi texture on the bolts. You have to zoom way in though, so It just didn't seem worth fixing that little detail. But you could totally fix that on yours. : )
Wow wow wow! This procedural material looks awesome Ryan! I love it! Absolutely next level! Fantastic as always! Give this man a WOO: WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! :) I hope you have a great weekend my friend!

Hi Ryan your mushroom tutorial series sparked an idea in my head an I made a film and I am going to submit it to a film festival when I am done I was wondering if you would like me to give you credit because I made the mushroom scene from your tutorial series and great videos as usual!
Thanks! You can credit my tutorial if you'd like to, but I don't require that you have to. Its totally optional. Although, you might want to change up your result, and make it looks somewhat different them mine, because there are lots of people who do the same tutorial, resulting in similar looking art. So you might want to change yours up a bit just so its more unique. Just an idea. Also, do you know if the film festival allows tutorial results in there submissions? You might want to read over the submission rules to make sure that's fine. : )
I would love you to show us the set up of the lights.. position rotation more deep info.. because i want to have it right as you.. would be a pleasure you could give it little more time for us with that... nice vids anyways
I have a problem with texture baking things, whenever I texture bake and turn the baked texture into an image, when I zoom out, seams start appearing, they look like black lines, is there anyway to hide the seams without using texture painting or using photoshop, I’ve asked someone this question on a separate social media/platform, they suggested photoshop and I don’t wanna buy photoshop just to fix a problem, and I do not want to use texture paint on my texture as it won’t look appealing no more. Is there anyway to fix this in blender itself?
I think this was a thing called UV padding or mip mapping. A way to solve this is maybe increase the bleed pixel amount when baking so the baked texture islands spread out more and cover up the seams edit: the setting is actually called the 'Margin' in the 'Output' submenu of the Bake drop-down menu.
@@omg_squid6949 Ah i think the setting was actually called the 'Margin', which is in the Output tab of the Bake dropdown menu in Cycles. I think the UV seams show up from a distance because I assume, the texture is sort of 'crunched' from a distance and doesn't fill it completely. I don't know about the technical side of that sort of stuff - but by increasing the margin in the bake settings, the baked texture islands will spread out more and it should fix the issue.
@@RyanKingArt I'm looking for an explanation on this topic for very while, my guesses are that bump just "adds" value from normal input, so on high values it seems to have shading issues because it's either higher 1 or less 1, but I don't really know what's going on when you change the order, please let us know if you find out this precious secret of those bumps
Thanks for the tutorial. How did you manage to find the value. 75 to add small square to the corners of the tile is it by trial and error. Thanks Jesus loves you
Hey Ryan I've a request Please... have you watched the bollywood movie named RaOne ? If not watched plz watch it I've a request regarding it . There's a villain in that movie and I want you to make a VFX or modelling tutorial on that villian's face . You're the only one that I know who's into each field of blender like modelling, sculpting, animation, VFX, procedural materials, etc. Please Ryan , please make a tutorial on it please.... that's my only request please 🥺

Why Is node wrangler not built into blender yet?
I don't know. I really think it should be turned on on default.

How does the order of the bump nodes affect the final result?
I'm not sure exactly how it does, but I know that it does. I've seen it change its look when I add different bump maps together in different orders.
