I'm new to Blender. So I'm on the look out for tutorials like this one. I liked how you mentioned the keyboard shortcuts you were using each time you used them. It helps them sink in to memory. Thank you.
@Yanis BELHAJ but you shouldn't. Eat slower, and drink water. It's better for your digestion. Well I mean at an appropriate speed. Savor the flavor, and you'll improve your mental health too.
Hi! A quicker way to repeat the corridor segments would be add an array modifier, increase the array size to however many segments you want, and change the constant offset to 1 on the y axis :)
For a ten minute piece that's absolutely awesome! I think what makes it look 'weird' is actually the symmetry. When you look at other iconic sci-fi corridors in movies, you will notice that they all have a symmetric base shape, but the details are actually not symmetrically applied to the corridors. For example look at corridors of the Nostromo in Alien or the Death Star in Star Wars. Symmetric corridors maybe work better on very clean and bright designs.
Good tuturial on how one can start small and build up stuff. But xD... so many tripping and bumping hazards on the floor. Zero handholds or zipline ankers too. Everyone will not like going trough that corridor :D.
Very stark and simple, like some sci-fi soviet union in space. Lots of space sci-fi also goes with bright whites, making for a clean environment. Alternatively, rust it all up, it would make a good dystopian setting, where most everything has been stripped out.
Lovee itt, oh man I wish I could use Blender as fast as you, I think the reason why you didn't like it so much at the end was cause you needed to add variation in between the modular pieces to break the symmetry,, which can be done with cables. and stuff like that, but I'd say that for only few minutes of work that is actually such an insane result haha teach me your wayssss
Hi, Nice Video, thanks!! I am learning Maya modeling and plan to learn blender next, it's cool to see you explain while modeling! Absolute swift execution also!! 👏👏👏👏🙌🌐🌐
I made this in my bge blender but i am unable to see anything which is inside corridor not even walls of corridors,... I think it's because blender is taking it as a low poly convex mesh ..so how can I make it right.
There are built in addons for that. Just go to the Add Mesh section in Preferences - Addons, and check everything. You'll get all sorts of settings to change that. Also, you could add the displace modifier to any object and then add a texture to make an irregular shape. Hope this helps! :D
Hi, thanks a lot for such quality content, I am new to blender and I want to make pixel art, but creating low poly is (I think) way easier then going pixel by pixel, is there a trick (addon / node etc) to convert low poly to pixel art look (I know it will never be true pixel art) but atleast somewhat close to it? thanks :)
Hey, I hope it's not too late :) You can use the remesh modifier. There's an option that allows you to transform your mesh into little cubes. You can find a demonstration in this video (I put the time code in the link) : ua-cam.com/video/8BQYAwDW6IE/v-deo.html
Can someone explain to me what I build in blender and what in Unreal? I build everything in blender (characters, vehicles, buildings, etc.) and then import everything into Unreal? Unreal is just a game engine that combines all 3D models (made in blender) into a working game? What will the game look like if I only use Unreal? Is this even possible? Was Fortnite built entirely outside of Unreal...even if it runs on Unreal? A bit confusing for a beginner.
Hi! I would like to ask some help with 3D modelling a part of a SW vehicle. If you agree, we may discuss it in private. I have managed to model most of the parts in Sketchup, but the main hull simply gets me mad. I think it won't take more than 15 minutes for an experinced user like you. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for explaining the short cuts out loud it really helps a beginner like me
my heart rate increases as soon as the timer starts lol
LOL :D

If this is made in 10 minutes, I cant imagine this in one hour! This looks amazing! Good job Imphenzia!
Oc it's not in 10 minutes. He probably spent 2 3 hours to make it this short
@Yanis BELHAJ yea I changed my mind after I watch it. This is an easy model
The thing is, if he wasn't on the timer, I bet he'd be slowed down by slight indecision every now and then.
@Yanis BELHAJ but you shouldn't. Eat slower, and drink water. It's better for your digestion. Well I mean at an appropriate speed. Savor the flavor, and you'll improve your mental health too.
Progress per minute declines exponentially over time though.
Amazing, I just clicked on the video and accidently skipped to 1:55 and that made my night! Perfect timing! Great editing by you!

Even better when used with curve modifier to make a slightly rounded space station
@@mrstahlfelge this one is better
But array is useful while making a straight forward with no bendiness
Amazing work! Very inspirational! Thank you!
The first two minutes of the video are a wiiiild ride, and I'm here for it

honestly even today this holds up! I followed along and i never new how good loop cuts can be. thank you!
So AWESOME to watch the Master at work .. Let's put a console here .. And there it is ..
What you do in Blender is beyond AMAZING.
Challenge Accepted! But first I need to learn all the shortcuts to speed up the process. Thanks for the inspiration!
Imphenzia the Best👌
Good tuturial on how one can start small and build up stuff.

Super gemacht. Ich meine vorallem auch das aussprechen der Shortcuts!
extra points for the space quest reference!!!

Awesome tut thanks for sharing,
But I have one question how can I change colors like u do ...! With color palette....
I think it was amazing. I'll wait for the runner . Thanks :)
For strange reasons on the window part, I was supposed to select two sides but it automatically select another one which is three.
Today I learned about Ctrl+r :D It kinda reminds me of how the North Star from North Star Rising looked in my head
I keep hitting Ctrl+Z to check how he did a certain feature, haha.
Great videos, keep going. Cant wait for your RTS Release 👍
We need more SCI-FI !
Space Quest was Epic back in the day !
I liked it Imphenzia Incredible 👍👍👍
its not even started yet lmao
godfather of face select and extrude :)
Admit it, you're Swedish. Also, really cool, fast tut. Love these types of tuts.
You are amazing man!
Great corridor. Liked it. See you next week.
Mind blowing...as usual. ✊🍺🎩🎩🎩
Dude, love the zoolander reference
I think it's very cool!!
Artificial ceiling lights, even fake, could have made a big difference in my opinion.
0:54 glitch in the matrix lolol

I like it. I would probably simplify it a little by taking detail out of the floor.
Floors like that are so impractical. Most sci fi corridor floors people seem to make are like these ultimate trip hazards.
Amazing like everytime
You can bridge the edge loops without deleting the faces and it will make the hole for you.
Thanks again for your tutorials! 🙏👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌💕💕💕
fantastic
Following along and still wondering how to get everything to bevel and extrude evenly rather than proportionately. All my stuff looks stretched out .
It's amazing!!! How you paint so fast? What the panel from left side?
Can't wait for the endless runner!
Great job!
Hey what can you do in two hours? It would be awesome to see your imagine totally unleashed for two hours!
Hi, Nice Video, thanks!! I am learning Maya modeling and plan to learn blender next, it's cool to see you explain while modeling! Absolute swift execution also!! 👏👏👏👏🙌🌐🌐
@ 6:17 you make the gutter in the center of the floor a use "B" to move it over... mine won't
you are amazing
the beginning xD
good video

Amazing. You tought me alot in the blender. Could you do a video on how to do iregular shapes?
There are built in addons for that. Just go to the Add Mesh section in Preferences - Addons, and check everything. You'll get all sorts of settings to change that. Also, you could add the displace modifier to any object and then add a texture to make an irregular shape. Hope this helps! :D
I am very excited For The Endless Runner!!!
Can you tell me what sahder do you use ? You have a nice working scene.. lightning? thx.
What's that lut table on the left, and how to use it?
HOW CAN u have those color palates on the left¿
How do you get the colour pallet on the side bar to the left???
Hi where is the video of the astronaut? Its so cool
A video like, lets make a spaceship in 1 hour would be awesome...
Sounds like a cool idea. Actually, episode 100 was a spaceship in about 2 hours :)
My favorite sci-fi corridors/doors were from Space 1999.
What is the color menu on the left?
man If I do like 3 of these a day it's about as much as my normal 6 hours HAHAH,.
COOL JOB THANKS? HOW< U HAVE THIS EDGE ALREAY?
Great

Did he do this with reference ? Or was this off the dome ??!!
Does anyone know how to do this command on Mac?
Hey Imphenzia, how about next month challenge, is everyone makes a corridor section?

Hello good video, does anyone know how to render cavity effect from blender in unity ?
Any tips for sci-fi modeling?
Получилось супер
how do you insert so evenly??
so how do I fix this problem??
Hey can you please model the soul characters from the movie 'soul' in 10 mins
Which place is go to find some reference to do 3d modeling?
Type your question on google
Do a sci-fi room! :D
how do you work with that grid on lol, its distracting

Make a starbucks!
is there anyone who is excited to do a morning 10 min challenge :D
its literally midnight here tho😂

This method appears to be one giant object. Is that ok? I seriously don't know.
Export as fbx gives error
