Hi Peter, it is imperative that the correct thermostat is installed for thr by-pass cooling system to work properly on all clevo's. The thermostat must be able to close off that brass ring in the block under the thermostat so that the coolant will stop circulating through the heads only at operating temp and then the coolant can circu

Its a windsor damper SCA8006 there is 1/4" diff between clevo and windsor style crank snout length. prob get 1/4" faced off the damper spigot.
Spot on, I feel silly not thinking of that and checking the part number, cheers.
