This video is almost two moths behind, you must be a married man by now. Car's beautiful mate, I hope you're going to post a few pics with the white ribbons on the front. I remember seeing these on the road back in the day but never payed any attention to them because I was a Holden man, you know, the Holden guys and the Ford guys thing. But cars of this era are so rare to see them on the road, especially in pristine condition, there's no more Holden/Ford rivalry, there's just a new found appreciation for all of them.
Feb 14 is the day mate, and yes, there will be vid of the wedding car : ) I’ve been so busy mate that I’ve skipped much great video footage over the past month but there is still plenty coming up in ZF 48
It's looking fantastic and from the little we got to hear I think it will sound great too! I hope its ready for the big day and wish you both all the very best!
Oh mate thank you so much. We are both excited for the big day… in the next video you’ll hear and see her with the white ribbon across the hood/bonnet as a drivable wedding car. There’s a few teething problems but I should have them ironed out by then. The weeding is on Feb 14
Looking great Jason ! you're lacking a few grommets, couple on the left inner wing where the two power steering lines go through and the horn wire, sure they seem pretty fixed in place but i thought you'd have grommeted them if you don't like the jubiele type hose clamps have you thought about using the metal O ring type that you crimp on? they do look alot better where you have to use a jubilee type, advice there would be to use the jubilee ones first to test the systems with an O ring on the hose so you can take the jubilee one off and crimp the O ring without taking the hose off the fittings. doing this saves having to remove an O ring clip if you got a problem on start up. double sided tape loves a bit of heat, i warm it up with a heat gun to get it angry and it sticks very well great tip on using the magnets for the layout material
Im just shocked how beautiful it came out mate. Miss these old fairlanes. They say put the Ice ignition box inside the car, ive got no where to put it so just stuck it where the Msd box was. Regal se is jammed full under the dash. Inner guard is fine by me but they say its not waterproof but a Chinese MSd is? Everyone i see has the ice ignition in the engine bay. I have never said the F word so many times seeing this beautiful car getting built ha,ha, love the louver to . Kept it on my old cL . That engine sounds really good. Congratulations on the wedding to mate.
G'day Jason 👍 long time subscriber and whatched every episode fantastic content brilliant channel your work is amazing and very motivational keep up the awesome work you do looking incredible 💪💪💪💯✔️ can't wait to see the coupe my dream car and still the toughest looking vehicle on the road allday long
Thanks so much bud, yeah coupes are the toughest looking chariot aye. Going to be busy for a few month. The factory is nearing completion so I’ll move the coupe there and work on it after the smoke has settled from the move and the wedding
I have the Aeroquip AC hose and fittings. You can get 90, 45 degree hose ends. I am running a Vintage Air polished Sanden compressor and bracket with a V belt. I just re-oringed them all 5 years in and used plenty of Nylog sealant during assembly
Great car mate. What little i heard of that bad boy was good. No rattles. Sound healthy. I feel your pain with those flipping fittings. Why does one have to spend $1000 on fitting towards the end of the build? Especiallly when the budget got blown out years ago. Then i buy the wrong ones. Then they need the special hose. Then i think why do I need a oil catch can and custom powersteering set ups...because i had to have the stroker motor with the bells and whistles ....so worth it. Again nice car well done
