We need a mayor who isn't a pride-parade-chasing soyboy, a governor who isn't a DNC supplicant, and a justice system that is not concerned with either punishment nor rehabilitation, but protecting the law abiding, tax paying, productive population.

Here is what needs done to solve a lot of Albuquerque's problems. Start with changing vagrancy, loitering, camping inside the city and drug use laws. Then go out to the west mesa and build a quonset hut type infirmary where people living on the streets, shooting drugs, panhandling etc get taken to spend a week or more. Let them go thru withdrawal with medical staff there and get cleaned up before the get released. The next time it happens they spend more time at the facility. Also arrest and prosecute the drug dealers who prey on the weak.

Social services can still help them survive if they want to. It’s a great idea.

I will be repairing the sidewalk because it is required by city ordinance. Why does the city ignore the law enforcement requirements that we pay for. If my alarm is triggered the police don't respond but I still pay for the required alarm permit. The problems in Albuquerque are only going to get worse and worse. I feel for this business owner but he should either move or sell off, as they say get while the getting is good. The reason is simple and it has everything to do with the Mayor he is a Democrat and a modern liberal aka radical one at that. The problems that plague every Democratic city will eventually befell Albuquerque. Democrats are no longer Americans, they don’t believe in the USA as a Constitutional Republic that has the Rule of Law. Democrats want Socialism with them and them alone at the top directing the demise of America. People should while they still can vote them out of office at every single level. America has lost some of our greatest cities to the disease Democrats spread, San Francisco, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Baltimore, Philadelphia DC and even New York. The list grows longer every day, the disease that Democrats spread is easy to see, it starts out of sheer ignorance and spreads to things like defunding police, no cash bail, prisoner early release, then the local laws are diminished. It starts with vagrancy, then looting, drug laws are relaxed next you see people moving into neighborhoods and starting homeless encampments and Democrats do nothing to end any of these radical policies. You do t see this in Texas or Florida or any other Republican state it’s the plague of the Democrats they are utter failures at and have been their entire life. These people are not Americans and if Albuquerque wants to remain a viable city in a purple state you need to recall your Mayor and elect a new city council or very soon your tow will look just like downtown in any other Democratic run city. In San Francisco it is the iconic downtown and waterfront areas totally devoid of any businesses, in Chicago it is the weekend tally of the number shot deaf or wounded by black gang members the city has been simply doing the accounting for now for over 2 decades. You look at downtown Philly and all you see are zombies drugged out of their mind standing, stooping or passed out on the sidewalks most just one shot away from the morgue and the city does nothing because the Mayor and city council are Democrats too ignorant to use common sense to fix the problems they themselves created. New York in an embarrassment on an international level, the flagship city of our great nation lost to the extreme radicals of the Democratic Party, Mayor after lunatic Mayor who everyday show the entire world their ignorance. Albuquerque needs to look around America, see the damage Democrats have done to our greatest cities and decide if you want your city to join the ranks of cities like San Francisco and others that will not make it back due to Democrats, remember Democrats are not Americans. Recall your mayor and city council before it’s too late.
