The sad thing is that NM doesn’t even have a bail system anymore. These decisions are only made by the judges unless they get released or not. It seems that when we had the bail system in place it was more effective.

This lady 😩😩😩 I’m from Guatemala and 1 time my dad was out of town a group of men attempted to break into our house. I could see it from the window when they were climbing through the roof. My dad had electric barbwire on the roof so they got hurt and jumped out. We were safe but I was never the same. I was with my grandma and about 5 years old, it took me years to feel safe again. When someone desecrates your safe place like that it messes you up. I still to this day wake up at 3 am every day and I’ve had ever since I was 5 years old when that happened. I pray this lady and her little grandchild feel safe again soon ❤ She’s bad a$$ and she did the right thing! Yes!

In another state n 80 yr old grandmother shot an intruder after he had handcuffed her and beat her. She was able to get up and get her revolver and she shot him when he came back down to her.
