Hi my traffic fiends, welcome back to another month of being my passengers and back street drivers.
I feel like this video had a lot of pedestrians, jay walkers, and panhandlers going rouge. But of course including all of my favorites like red light runners, turn fails, blocking me, and just overall terrible driving that makes me honk my beautiful horn.

Notice how his lights appear to flash, they really don't. Cameras tend to see some LEDs as flashing due to their frequency. When you are behind them the lights usually never seem to flash like that.

I've had someone yell at us : "Pedestrians have the right of way!" When they had a red hand, and we had a green light.
Yeah people are dumb when they do that... Luck is going to runout and a driver will not be paying attention when they have a green while they're walking slowly all high and mighty.

For once someone is not picking on BMW drivers. If I had a nickel for each time someone did, I would have cash in hand to buy a BMW hahaha!! I would of course get it counted and changed to paper money if I find a bank that still has the machines. Some of them pulled their machines.

I love the Dodgers game clip. It reminds me of every sports game traffic plus other type of activities happening at the same time closeby in Jacksonville, Florida. Traffic backups in Jacksonville is sometimes worse than in Los Angeles. Los Angeles takes more time to study and travel along the side streets than Jacksonville.
Every time I see a CLA (aka the 'I-can't-afford-a-Mercedes') it's being poorly driven. I don't know what it is about cheap luxury cars like it that make the drivers drive so poorly. And if someone or their passenger points or gestures at me that they want over like the Range Rover driver, there's a 0% chance that I'm letting them in.
Hahaha I love everything about what you said. So true about that and same for BMW 3 series, always the worst drivers. And yes, I wish I could have shown more about what was going on behind us, but letting that RR in was so annoying to me.

Yeah, I'm not convinced those signs do anything?? I could make an entire video of people not following those signs haha.

What is the camera you are using? The picture quality is very good and I also don't see that fisheye effect that some of them have. I have a Vicovation Marcus 4 and while it too has great picture quality it has a fisheye effect. It is not as bad as some action camera fisheyes but it is noticeable on mine.
I use the Black Box G1W dash cam... However, there are multiple variations of them, I'm not sure which one specifically I bought. I did pick it because I thought the quality of the videos looked good.
I had a G98C (like a GS98C but no GPS mouse included) and it died in two or three months. That had really nice picture quality too. I might even still get another one if I ever need a cheap dash camera. The only problem was that the screen was not working. The bad thing about that of course is I can not tell that it still is working. I had a Cobra CDR 820 as my first dash camera and the picture quality was not all that great but 1080p. It had a nasty habit of turning off silently and unexpectedly. That is bad because you need a camera that hopefully worked in that one critical moment. There were other Cobra dash cameras that had the same problem. Its lens was not a good wide angle and to read a license plate you almost have to rear-end someone to get it to be legible.

😂most was pretty accurate. A few I would contest though the driver making a right on the left lane was in the correct lane the arrows show striaght or right and the driver who did a right turn had the right of way before anyone making a left. but i loved the video. Im an La driver and tbh sometimes its so congested and riddled with aggressive drivers It can cause me to make split second desicions which can put me in compromising situations lol. So on occasions I can be the bad driver as well.

Have you ever had one of those freeway drives where everyone is driving terribly in the same specific way (driving too slow in the fast lane then unconsciously speeding up when you try to pass them one day, then another day continuously driving on the lane separator), like they are one mind?Weather's a factor, and time of day, traffic level, area of city, but maybe something more psychic too? Happens to me all the time, but maybe I'm just looking for patterns like a crazy person. Anyway, thank you for these cathartic videos!!!

I don't understand what the problem is at 8:45. I see someone crossing in what looks like a marked cross walk, and even if its' not, it's a legal unmarked crosswalk.

It's absolutely maddening if you were raised in an area where people actually followed commonly-recognized driving laws, even generally. I feel like driving in LA has improved over the past twenty years, but maybe I've become inured to it. The traffic volume and the roads have worsened, though, without question.

1:34 - Most homeless people in my opinion, remain homeless because they don't want to work and would rather do drugs and alcohol, or have a legit mental illness. In her case, I think she represents the minority of the homeless population. She's willing to work, accepts gift cards instead of just cash, which says a lot about her situation. It says that she probably does not have a substance addiction, since homeless junkies want cash only and handouts, instead of being willing to work. And she seems legit down on her luck and needs some sort of temporary boost to get her out of the hole. I doubt she'll be homeless for long.

That's exactly what I was thinking, she seemed like someone who really is just temporarily down. I know LA gets a lot of homeless youths as well, hopefully she is doing better now.

Great clips as always! There is never any shortage of great captures in good ole LA. Tesla driver must be silly rich to be driving like that in a $90K vehicle. Also, I heard you drive a GLK! I'm considering buying one to replace my X3. How do you like it? Is it quick enough for you and does it drive nice and handle well?
I really like my GLK, but was always told BMW's drive better. I would imagine it's a little smaller than the X3. I'm really happy with it, and wouldn't trade it in anytime soon. :)

8:50 She crossed between two sidewalks, which is technically crosswalk use here in Ontario (not sure about LA). Although using that law for a baby stroller is overly stupid, PD cannot take action on something that is still legal.

I think bikers are allowed to lane split if we're all going under a certain speed limit in LA. However, I thought having the hazards on was annoying/unnecessary.
Turning right on red isn’t mandatory. You shouldn’t honk at people for it. It’s their choice if they want to turn.

I was driving in LA 3 weeks ago I've learned you must follow closer then average because it's an opportunity for some fucker(s) to sneak in. Another is to never follow the limit and you must be aggressive too because no one let's you in. The drivers were bad but thank God I wasn't in front of those retarded ones who cross all 7 or 8 lanes to make the exit.

Jeez, LA needs local high-speed rail. People could roll their bicycles onto the train, then roll off later and bike to their destination. I've lived in Santa Barbara and San Diego counties, but luckily avoided living with that kind of traffic.
LA's public transport is getting better, but is still severely lacking. They completely missed the opportunity to fully develop a rail system long ago, now they have to live with this mess of freeways and super narrow side streets.
