Kind of laughed a little when I checked the registration number on the Volvo S80 that slammed the brakes and flipped the trucker off and saw that the car has been scrapped.. I can see why!
Relaxing footage announced and all I see is a narrow road and an oncoming truck! 🤪
Once I had such an experience, too. But in my case it was a road loader with an at least 3 meter wide bucket! Had to back up our rather large motorhome about 500 meter. The other driver gave me a big smile and a thumbs up! 😉

The final clips brought back memories from my journey by bicycle through Norway (Bodö, Nordkapp, Lofoten) last year.
I'd like to thank all the truck drivers for their patience and politeness. Not a single time I was passed in a dangerous way by a truck.
Thank you for sharing! I see examples of most of these things quite literally every time I go out driving. Mostly the super dangerous passing/cutting and lazily crossing the centre line against oncoming traffic, but also the inappropriate reversing, lack of vehicle control, and general stupidity. My friends say this never happens; people don't drive like this in Sweden, but - I see it every day.

By now, it’s almost five years since I recieved my driving license (I am a Swedish driver of a car; I don’t have a license for driving trucks). Soon after recieving my mentioned driving license, I realised that you really can’t rely on anyone else doing the right thing in traffic; no one at all, in any situation.
The only thing I can do as a driver, is to do my very best to follow the traffic rules.

There are many crazy and dangerous drivers on the road. But a beautiful scenery at the end. have a nice day and drive safe

I was "playing geodetective" and found the location of the clip from Finland at 0:38 very easily. It is the intersection of roads 52 and 1840 about 25 km south from Salo in southwestern Finland :)

So much for the "relaxing footage", I nearly gave birth when that truck was coming the other way and I'm a bloke!
Makes a very refreshing change from the usual carnage on Russian and Chinese (and, increasingly, American) roads that seems to be equally due to inexperienced or chemically-challenged drivers and unbelievably slack standards of vehicle maintenance. A bit more like here in Australia, where most drivers can anticipate problems, and most vehicles are well enough maintained for drivers to be able to stop in time or navigate their way past a problem without the usual wholesale destruction you'll see in many other countries.

Ser mer ut som grön skylt - saluvagnslicens (vilket är troligare med tanke på bilens ålder). Beskickningsfordon (diplomatbilar) brukar ha blå skylt i Sverige.
Nä, vänta. De gröna brukar ju ha vanliga svenska serier. Nu måste jag luska lite. 🤔

Ja, kanske falskskyltad? FX finns inte, högst är FN som är för Nya Zeeland. Två bokstäver landskod, serienummer tre siffror och sista bokstaven är diplomatens ämbete. I detta fall bokstaven I som står för personal i internationell organisation. Söker på numret FX002I hos Transportstyrelsen så får man svar "begränsad information, ring kundtjänst". Spännande minst sagt.
Reagerade först på bilen dock, då jag äger en likadan 244 GLT från -87 i exakt samma färg.

I was always amazed when suicidal drivers would brake check me, when they had their kids strapped in the back of their cars in child seats!

Used to drive buses of an alpine pass in New Zealand at one point it was so narrow and winding if you met a truck it was stop and wiggle past each other or loose your mirrors 😱😱

Were you driving Mercedes Benz Actros in the clip at 1:05 mark? When you slam on the brakes due to brake checker you can hear the turn indicator relay clicking much quicker than normal.
I don't know what manufacturer it was. But you can hear the radar doing it´s first warning when the Volvo cuts in infront of the truck.
And after that the clicking noise as well when the truck is braking hard. I guess it is flashing its hazzard lights veryf fast

Puckot i Volvon 1:10 skrotade bilen strax efter klippet spelades in. Har man inte mer innanför pannbenet ska man inte ha något körkort öht

No sorry. You have to be able to see who was driving the car, it's not enough to have a film on the car...if "it" is doing something strange.

Insurance companies have trucking companies by the balls. Truckers can’t teach other drivers lessons anymore. Truckers also don’t have a comrade culture anymore due to cellphones replacing the CB. Also the influx of truckers to Europe and the U.S. from “certain” parts of the world. It’s all been effed up since that was allowed…

1:10 At the time of the recording, the car was owned by a guy that they have written a news article about.
Apparently, that guy is a "hero" and got a medal for helping someone in some way.
The same guy that is driving like that and flipping you off, is a "hero" 🤣
The car has since then been unregistered and scrapped roughly 2 months after this recording. Maybe he crashed and the insurance company scrapped the car, who knows. Wouldnt be too far fetched after watching this behaviour...
