I started snatch grip deadlifting when I started power lifting just 5 weeks ago. At first it was the weirdest feeling but it helped take me from deadlifting 315 for 2 reps to 315 for 5 (haven’t tested a max out yet but I’m increasing the weight so I can keep up my 5 sets 3 reps)

I did snatch grips doing canditos 6 week program, they're better for conventional than deficits IMO, but honestly they suck because you have to use straps if you can't use hook grip. Fuck straps, I can hold more without them than with them because they always stretch and slide into my fingers and shit

Detroit 313 any kind of pull should be doable the day before legs, if they are you're squatting the weight up too much or need the extra frequency to get them stronger anyway, so do any kind of pull before leg day anyway

Candido training is big on these as an alternative to deficit deadlift. It forces you to get lower, but in a more natural position.

I do the snatch grip deadlift twice a week , that’s a progression for a snatch so thats why I do it.
I just started doing snatch grip deficit deadlifts and they feel great. really works the legs

Snatch grip deadlifts are great for people who do sumo, imo. It's my accessory deadlift. Weights a bit lower than conventional, but it's all good.
I added snatch grip deads to my program on Fridays. Now its benching x3 squats x2 and deads x2 /week with other things intermixed.

There is no range of motion in the muscles of the upper body when you deadlift.. so how is this really helpful for your upper back?
Isometric contraction. Your back still needs to stabilize your shoulder blades and spine.
Trust in Trust isometric holds /weighted stretches
Don't forget bad posture will also eventually lead to injury. If u lift with bad posture and bad form it's a matter of time before you get hurt.
