I’m loving those blue Hydrangeas
Some of those hydrangeas are so healthy looking. I do struggle to get mine looking good. You are so right about too much sun 🌞 I have come to realise that with my hydrangea. I love hydrangea, but they need a lot of attention. Thanks so much for the information, Marlene, and I will remember to water 💧 them😊.
You're very welcome. ❤️

@@PricelessPearlLife08 Me too.
Thanks for sharing the tips. I have one hydrangea that I got last year and this is my first spring/summer caring for it.
@MsLallie Nice!! They are such wonderful plants. Perfect for the Season. ❤️
Great tips. Especially addressing the browning due to excess heat and fungi. Hydrangeas are really beautiful and an excellent perennial. Interesting how the color changes based on the ph of the soil.
Glad you liked it. Thanks Bruce. ❤

Hi Marlene!
All of these are awesome tips! I keep forgetting to try the hydrogen peroxide! I will though! I have 2 clearance hydrangeas that look great but won’t bloom! Maybe not enough sun! So thank you! Blessings ❤
You are so very welcome Del. Love your beautiful garden. ❤️
Wide variety of mulches☘
Hi Lady! New sub here! Great video and even better advice! I am so glad I found this video. I think I did most of what you advised. Do consider using a mic! We need to hear your HD voice with your beautiful HD videos! 🥰
@SouthCarolinaTransPlant Welcome aboard. Thanks for thinking of me and my viewers. I do have a mike. You will see it in some of my videos on my collar. This video was a voice because I have to show examples from different places. Perhaps it didn't pair well with my editing tool. Glad you enjoyed the video. Happy Gardening. 😊 ❤️ 🌸
@@MarlenesHomeandGarden Ahh... That makes sense! Your channel has a lot of information as well! Thanks for sharing!
I'm a new gardener. How and when exactly do you mulch a container grown hydrangea and what does it do to the plant
Also last year I bought a young white mophead hydrangea in March. I decided to start feeding it in May wuth a liquid tomatoes feed. By June it turned light green. A few weeks later it gradually went a much darker green ending up a beautuful burnt orange colour by September. Nice changes but I love the white and want to keep it white. This year not fed it yet. Too frightened to in case it changes colour. Are there any alternatives to keep it healthy and white or not
@April-py3jc Welcome April. There is no set time, but best to do it before th weather gets really warm. Best wishes with your garden.
Thanks for Watching. Hope this helps if you have any of those issues. Enjoy your Hydrangeas. Blessings ❤
I love HYDRANGEA so much :
I have 2 so far, one already on the ground and the other one still
on same pot : will follow your advice Marlene : super informative
thank you and blessings to you ❤ JONAH
@craftsplantsandsucculentsw1076 Blessings to you my dear. ❤️
My white new Mophead hydrangea last year turned from white to pale green then a much darker green to a beautiful burnt orange over the summer after feeding it with a tomato liquid feed. I dont want it to change colour again so what can i feed it instead
@April-py3jc That sounds like the normal progression . A true color change shows at the beginning of the bloom season. For example a hydrangea that was pink the year before blooms blue the following year due to changes in the acidity of the soil. Hope you are OK with the normal color changing process. My blue ones are a very pale blue now and still beautiful. 😊
I think the one at 5:00 is the Pinky Winky hydrangea
@KimmiiPooH Thanks for watching. Welcome Welcome. It's such a pretty one. HappyGardening. .
I am completely lost I planted hostas and hydrangeas 2 week ago in Georgia some look good while others are wilting turning brown and seem to be dying please help me
@April-cu8xc It's probably heat shock. There have been a lot of heat waves all over the country. It's best to plant these by mid May. My my best suggestion is to keep them hydrated. Trim back the brown parts very lightly and feed them once every 2 weeks when the soil is wet. Follow instructions on box. Best wishes with your garden. Flower 🌼 🌸
Do all of them grow high? Mine is very low and I though it will grow high next to the wall😢
@dorienblignault1111 Welcome! Sorry to hear that, there are different species so it depends on the type you have. If you kept the tag it should tell you the growth habits. Enjoy them though, they're such beautiful plants. 😊
Hello pretty lady!☘
You are very kind. TY.
Love you're growing ginger 🫚 that's something I need to grow. I forgot about succession planting 😅 Love that beautiful visitor you had. Fish fertilizer is amazing 😊
